The ease of communication when you need reassurance, help or advice is paramount.
My 3 year fixed ISA had matured and I wanted to transfer it to a new account . The lady on the phone patiently led me through the form filling step by step and was friendly and efficient. Everything we set up was confirmed by personal message the following day .

No problem with Aldermore.so far they have been great.

Don't even bother applying for a mortgage with them we have waited since 21st August from AIP....they have wasted our time and energy and our mortgage advisors time.
They sent valuer that lied said we had spray foam in the roof when we havnt as it was completely removed by previous owners and house been bought since. We had mortgage declined and mortgage advisor managed to speak to manager get the decision over turned.
We then waited 3 weeks for unwriters and today they say they wont lend full amount as its a ex council house on council easte !!!!!!!! The house is on a rural road in middle of nowhere with 2 semi detached houses privately owned and the other 2 detached houses privately owned. Its not a council easte its 6 houses in the middle of no where down a long country road !!!!!!! Houses are 1926 Crown Houses built by king and queen they housed soldiers after 1st World War with half acre garden to grow food.... how ridiculous.
So the bank wont lend for ex council houses ???? Because probably 60% of houses are ex.council in UK !!!!!! What about ex council houses in London then!!!!!! worth 1 million pounds!!!!!!! You wont lend to them ???!!!!!What rubbish !!!!! Ive never heard such rubbish in all my life.
They wasted so much time now we may not be able to get a mortgage as the rates have gone up 3 or 4 times whilst we have been waiting for you and this is not exceptable.
I have made a formal complaint.
I have also instructed my Mortgage advisor to go else where as you are just a time waster !!!!!!!
My Mortgage advisor will never use you again either so you have lost out

Just been informed they put the house we are buying down as a flat !!!! . How has this happened
