I used to have a mortgage with Aldermore. Never really had any issues.

I changed mortgage lenders, received a notification from my new lender that they didn't take my payment from my bank. In a blind fit of panic, I logged onto my bank account and paid Aldermore rather than my new lender.

It is now impossible to get my money back. All the operators are just robots. I email, they tell me to call, I call they tell me to email. You get the same auto response from all of them. Not one of them wants to help.

Unable to speak with anyone who has the authority to sort anything.

Shocking service.

Wouldnt recommend on customer service alone.

Set up 2 more cash ISAS this morning after an initial bit of confusion on my part (age related!) with help from Josh who was patient and understanding so we got there.As related before, we really appreciate the great level of service which we have always found to be quite exceptional..we continue to be very happy long term customers...

I spent 4 weeks trying to close my Bond account before its maturity-after proving hardship on my part. Then after sending them copies of my Council Eviction notice and current a/c details they continued to request the same documents as delaying tactics every time. I concluded that they are either inept or criminal, ie to extract as much interest from my Bond as they could. I spoke to several of their staff who all obfuscated and said the same thing, or i was put on hold-for that which i requested but which never came. Now, after waiting 4 weeks i'm told to wait for up to 3 days more. This Bank is a criminal entity

I have had various accounts with Aldermore over the years . I find the website easy to use . It is possible to ring Aldermore if necessary and the people are warm , friendly , easy to understand and efficient. The interest rates are good too . What more can I say ?

Although I decided to cancel my ISA transfer and stay with my current provider, I found Aldermore to be very professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with both online and over the phone.

The website was easy to navigate and the whole online ISA processing was very slick.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or open an ISA with them in the new Tax Year.

Top interest rates for fixed rate cash isa. More than helpful on the telephone and a UK call centre, to answer my questions before I opened this account. Have many accounts with Aldermore and always been more than happy with their service. Very easy account to set up online

I applied for a mortgage with Aldermore and it’s been a nightmare.
The staff keep asking for the same documents and the same questions over and over.
No one seems to know what they’re doing and the level of knowledge is really poor. It feels completely unprofessional. If you need a mortgage and want a smooth process, go elsewhere.Waste of time. I’m withdrawing my application and going to a different lender.

Hi, just opened account but had verification code that didn't work. Not very good especially after they took my money quick enough

An excellent company to deal with. Easy process to open an account without compromising security. Easy to access accounts held which are kept in date order so it is easy to see which matures first and when. Excellent interest rates always.

I've saved with the Aldermore for several years and have always found them competitive and easy to deal with. The on-line service is very easy to negotiate and on the odd occasion I've needed to speak with somone they have been very helpful and easy to contact.
