I found Assington Autos through a scrap car comparison site - following a catastrophic MOT fail on my vehicle, I decided it was time to let my old SMax go!
Within 24 hours of my request, Assington Autos contacted me to book in a collection. They arrived promptly on the morning of my collection date and took the old girls away. The money arrived in my bank account the very next day.
Assington Autos offers great customer service, it was really easy to reach out and contact them via WhatsApp, they were super responsive and kept me updated throughout. 10/10!

Phone last week to collect an old car of mine. Booked me in for Thursday 29th Jan, turned up just after midday. Quick and easy collection and very professional. Very good with communicating with you the whole way through the process. 10 out 10 would definitely use again. Money was in my account in less than the 24hrs they stated it could take.

Assington Autos had Very Good Communications.. clear , polite and human from the start via Phone and Whatsapp ( happy to speak to me via SM , email or phone) I was asked a few basic questions about my car then informed how much they would pay me for it , ( very good price for my old heap £195 :) & what condition it needed to be in to be worth that amount ( ie in my case .. with battery, engine starts)
Also informed which Day they would be collecting ( Friday) and on the day the Driver phoned 20 mins before arriving ,was on time, followed my Emailed suggestions and backed into our road, and loaded up in a jiffy.
The money was in my bank within 7 days !

If i could give a minus i would constantly ringing me every day for 2 weeks then denying it even after showing them the call log they where rude abusive and un professional would not accept the call log and called me a liar

They are once again highly professional and quick to come and collect the vehicle! They pay the best prices for scrap value and after picking up the car payment was made later that day! I would highly recommend! The only annoying thing is they should come up as first choice when you search scrapping cars! They are far and away the best!!
