Friendly introduction to exercise ruined by inexplicable cancellation of membership. I’m almost 81 and membership is important to retain some fitness and strength.
I felt comfortable and ‘at home’.
The premises were spacious and well-ordered. I was unfamiliar with much of the equipment but I’ll learn in time!
My induction, through Steve, was a pleasant experience. I do hope I can take advantage of my membership sufficiently to regain some of the strength and balance I need to help prevent falls.
I’ve now received an email saying my membership has been cancelled but no explanation was given.

Everyone is welcome at this friendly gym and pool
Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are uncrowded. Atmosphere is calm and relaxed. It caters for all ages and abilities. The nearby car park is also free.

It was a bit difficult logging the activity as I was trying to join my account. However once it was explained to me by one of your advisers it is plain sailing.
Grandson has started swimming lessons however they are still waiting for swimming hats and have been waiting for a couple of months ?

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Better in Cambridge! From start to finish, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. It’s rare to come across a team that genuinely cares about their customers, but that’s exactly what I found here.
They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail and warm approach made a real difference. The level of customer service is truly top-notch — nothing was too much trouble.
If you’re looking for a company that values its customers and delivers with a smile, I highly recommend Better. I’ll definitely be returning!
