I have been a member with BHSF for a very long time. I have always experienced first class service from the customer care team. They are patient, friendly and helpful.
Claims are paid promptly.
I have recently had email correspondence with Neil Ryder, he was very empathetic to the diagnosis that I have received in the past few weeks.
Neil suggested that the diagnosis was added to my account, which I have agreed to.

BHSF is a very valuable cover system for month by month medical expenses e.g. dental, optician, consultations. Scan your receipts or put through the digital receipts directly as a paid up member and you will get a repayment up to an agreed limit based on your level of subscription. The turn-round for payments and the service is excellent!

Try their best to not pay out.
I was very lucky to have this insurance through my employer. I tried to reclaim some expenses for chiropody.
After sending in receipts on numerous occasions and they’re still asking me for the receipts and not paying out.
I have actually given up now, but will never Use this company and will be advising other others to do the same.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we're sorry to hear of your difficulties with claiming.
When submitting any claim, the 'Terms Of Use' (TOU) is the first section. This must be actively read & accepted in order to submit any claim via our Online Portal. This clearly confirms exactly what evidence a Policyholder needs to provide, in order for our Claims Services Team to fully assess the claim.
If the submitted receipts do not show everything we need, a claim will be declined and the Policyholder will have to gather the missing information and re-submit the claim again at a later date.
Unfortunately, from what you've described, it sounds as though the information you're submitting is insufficient. Therefore, please can we suggest that you re-read the TOU and provide the required evidence. If you'd like any guidance on this or need any help, please get in touch with our Helpdesk (0121 454 3601) who will do what they can to assist.

Happy as a bumble bee
Today I had the pleasure of speaking to Jackie, who solved all my issues, she was like wonderwomen.
My direct debits have been coming out from the wrong account, so i stopped them when i realized, i sent an email across.
I called up just to be sure, and Jackie took the details of account it should come out from and changed my address,
She was very pleasant to talk to.....
A true customer service attendent. I hope BHSF know how lucky they are to have her!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 4* review.
Unfortunately, the speed at which claim payments arrive is beyond BHSF's ability to control, as BACs payments will usually take 3 working days. Once BHSF process a claim, it will be audited the following working day (usually first thing in the morning by our Claims Services Team), where the payment will be released and a 'Benefit Statement' generated (telling the Policyholder how much we're reimbursing).
If you're finding that you need the money a bit sooner than usual, we'd suggest submitting your claim(s) as quickly as possible to prevent any delays. However, if you ever have any queries, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
