1-Star Review for BlueSteps

I’m disappointed to have to leave this review, but I’ve had no response to multiple emails regarding a refund request. I reached out within 24 hours of purchase (before the sale is considered final), well within the stated 7-day refund period, yet I have not received any acknowledgment or action.

I was wrongly charged $120 in addition to the $278.40 initial charge with no explanation for the extra charge. Despite multiple follow-ups over several days, I have yet to receive even an acknowledgment, let alone my refund of both charges .

I just need someone to process the refund as per the policy. I’d appreciate it if a member of the team could get in touch and resolve this.

This was a lousy verbal diatribe by a really poor speaker with little content or educational points

BlueSteps offers good authors to share their experience and ideas to be youself, as Jordan Grumet explained. It's up to us to see if they can help.

BlueSteps brings the best of thinkers and speakers at these webinars. The topics are not only thought provoking but also easy and practical, often going beyond career decisions to subjects that are hulgely relevant in one s own development.

Excellent presentation. One suggestion for improvement is that during a webinar like this, many new ideas are presented that cause one to ponder each concept and thereby miss parts of the ensuing presentation. To make the overall experience more satisfying, it would be helpful to have after the presentation either a transcript or a summary sheet (notes) of key concepts that were presented to review and reflect on.

Some vizualization would be useful, not just talking heads

I respect these authors and the content they are presenting aligns with my values and views on leadership. Love those you lead. I appreciate that love has been brought forward as a business leadership tactic and not hidden. Great!

It was a great platform for learning from various fields/disciplines of the discussants about career transformation from an EMBA.

Webinar: Career Transitions "Strategies for Success"
I thought the webinar was excellent. The panelists provided a wealth of insightful advice and practical tips for executives considering a career transition. The discussion covered a range of important topics, from understanding your motivations and transferable skills, to personal branding and networking strategies. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on being purposeful in designing your next leadership journey, as well as the recommendations around seeking out mentors and getting involved in relevant organizations. Overall, I found the webinar to be highly informative and valuable for anyone looking to navigate a successful career change. The speakers demonstrated deep expertise in this area and did a great job engaging the audience. I would highly recommend this webinar to other executives exploring new opportunities.

I subscribed to BlueSteps in mid-December 2024 based on a colleague’s recommendation. Shortly after subscribing, I received a solicitation call for a $5,000 coaching service. However, beyond that, I never received any further communication or guidance on how to use the service.

One of my main concerns has been the lack of customer support. There is no direct number to call, and emails to support at bluesteps.com asking for clarification on the services provided or requesting a refund have gone unanswered. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my subscription, hoping to receive a refund. Didn't receive the refund.

After discussing with my colleague again, he assured me that I simply needed to upload my resume and that the service would work without paying the additional $5,000. Based on this, I reached out to support again, but once more, received no response. Eventually, I messaged the Managing Director, stating that if the issue persists, I would report the matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). A few days later, my account showed as active, but I still haven’t received a single call or opportunity in over 1.5 months.

Adding to the frustration, every time I log in, I am asked to reactivate my subscription, and messages to support continue to go unanswered. I also tried looking up the business on BBB, but couldn’t find a listing. Their website does not provide a clear business address either, raising concerns about transparency.

At this point, my experience makes me question the legitimacy of the service. I want to share this so others can make an informed decision before spending their money. If anyone has had a different experience or knows how to get real value from the platform, I’d appreciate the insight.

Thank you for reinstating my account. I appreciate the help. I scheduled the coaching call because I was unaware of the additional $5,000 fee on top of the subscription, as it was not clearly communicated. That said, I believe there is room for improvement in customer support. I had to escalate the issue to the Managing Director to get my account reinstated, but I never received confirmation from them after reinstating. It wasn’t until I posted on Trustpilot that I finally got a response. Hopefully, Trustpilot isn’t considered your primary customer support channel!

Thought provoking. Very much in line with my experience. Very much appreciated outside perspective and thoughts. Prompting me to new action based on validation.

It's a good discussion and a very hot topic. The authors have spent time thinking about this. The two elements I would like to see added:
1. More time - perhaps in the form of a series of discussions.
2. Discussions - subtle aspects need dialog, and this is mostly a monolog, for good reasons.

Fascinating webinar, I can't waif for my book to arrive! It's really helped me to understand how the dynamics of employment are changing

Joined a bit late, but helpful info from the panel.

The panelists each shared exceptional insights. The two takeaways that come to mind are: 1) Trust is the foundation of the relationship between the client and the candidate. 2) Communication is key in terms of being clear, concise, and consistent.

Navigating the negotiation process begins before the offer is drafted and presented.

A big take away is wanting to see the entire process through. Do not quit halfway because you are uncertain or confident in the process.
