I signed up for Checkmyfile because I needed a full picture of my credit profile ahead of a remortgage application, and I’m genuinely impressed.
What makes this service stand out is how it brings together data from Experian, Equifax and TransUnion into one clear, well-organised dashboard. Instead of checking three separate agencies and trying to piece everything together myself, I could see my complete credit history, payment patterns, financial associations, and any potential issues all in one place. The explanations of how each factor affects my score are excellent – far clearer than the raw reports from the credit reference agencies.
The website itself is very user-friendly with intuitive navigation and a clean layout that makes quite complex information easy to understand, even for someone who isn’t a finance expert. Downloading a full PDF report was straightforward, which was perfect for sending to my broker. I also appreciated being able to view up to six years of history and track how my score has moved over time.

Genuinely can’t recommend enough.
Genuinely can’t complain. It isn’t cheap but at the end of the day I needed it for my mortgage application. I’ve used it before, again just for how long I needed it. It’s very detailed, and brought to my attention some associated aliases that were 10 and 5 year old relationships, so I used their dispute service to make sure they no longer appeared on my file (as one I knew would have a bad credit rating therefor affecting mine without me even knowing). It was super fast and worth the extra month’s subscription. Easy to unsubscribe until next time I need it too. Can’t fault it!
