Shocking, absolutely shocking customer service coupled with horrendous attitude with a chip on his shoulder! Disgusting. A lovely staff used to work at this particular store prior. Not all items were labelled for starters and when I eventually asked for “price” his response resulted in me walking out. Last time I give my service to Clinton’s - in-store and online.

Clintons always used to provide paper bags for purchases. When a charge for plastic bags was introduced, Clintons changed to plastic bags so they could charge. Cynical! Lets hope they go into administration again soon.

I've used the Clinton's website a few times now since it was launched and I have always had an awful experience. When I first found out Clinton's had a website I was actually excited and relieved. I could finally buy my cards online. Birthdays/Christmas/anniversaries were about to get easier. This ideal was short lived. The website is awful to navigate for starters. You search mum birthday cards and ends up combining different categories. The biggest disappointment is there are limited products on the website. I don't understand how it's possible for a company to think this is a good idea. I wanted all their cards they sell in their shops on the website. They don't... it's limited and underwhelming. As a result of the limited products to buy, they sell out and become out of stock really quickly. I also don't like that they don't give you an estimated date of delivery. I thought maybe these were all teething problems and they would improve over time but they haven't.

I always find a beautiful card at Clinton’s for those people who are very special to me. I love cards with beautiful words. They are very important. I am unable to get around at the moment because of illness and have been delighted to be able to order online. Very happy with my experience.

Ordered a Mother's Day card at the beginning of March, got an email on 10th to say they were refunding me because of technical issues. Didn't leave me much time to arrange a replacement!

Easy to order and great communication and even greater candles

It was one card and a necklace. I ordered and you cancel the order 2 weeks later.

You didn't deliver the card for nearly two weeks, and then sent me a pathetic email saying that the order couldn't be fulfilled.

The cards didn't arrive - lost in the postal system. Thought you might have offered to re-send, but at least you refunded.
