relatively easy to use but the fees suggested were high and although you could change them you couldn't change them to zero like other platforms and it meant people gave for example £10 where only £9.xx was contributed to the pot

An easy and effective way to raise a collection
I did a collection pot for my colleague who was leaving. It was easy to set up and share the link with everyone else in my team to be able to leave messages and contributions for him. I was notified when someone had contributed and nearing the time that the pot was due to close. It was really easy to then understand how the pot could be used, with a variety of clear choices being available. I liked that you could send the messages in a card or board format and in various ways too. Overall, a great experience.

Terrible experience!
In the end after closing the pot I couldn’t download and print the wishes people added with donations.
I was told by Colectionpot team that they cannot help me in anyway and they told me to make a screenshoots!!
Imagine my embarrassment in the front of the people in my company (we were collecting for the leaving colleague)
I am speechless.Never more!

Our support team has done everything possible to troubleshoot the issue. They worked closely with our developers but were unable to find any problems with the message download on our end. We realize that suggesting screenshots wasn’t ideal and truly regret the inconvenience this caused, especially in front of your colleagues.

We completely understand your concern about card fees. Our standard card processing fee is 1.9% + 20p per contribution, which covers the cost of safely handling payments. Any amount above that is an optional tip to help keep Collection Pot running.
Tipping is never forced, it’s just a simple way to support a tool that saves hours of chasing, reminding, and spreadsheet juggling.

Exactly the tool that was needed for a colleague’s leaving collection. Fairly easy to navigate and avoids sharing personal bank details to the entire office. Also useful to track the individual payments and the comments left. Would highly recommend and will use again.

The registration security is good
The registration security is good, but it took me ages to successfully complete. I suppose that's not a bad thing.
It would be nice to be able to print out all the messages in their selected fonts and colours. The option to e-mail the ecard would also be nice.

The pot is easy to set up and use and I understand why there is a small and adjustable “tip” made per contribution. I was a little shocked to see that when I went to transfer the money to my account to spend the final transfer page had automatically set itself to take an additional percentage tip, I adjusted this to zero as tips had already been taken, so he were of this!

Easy to use, online chat very helpful
I used this company to do an online collection for several colleagues at once. It’s so easy to set up and use, and once the pot was closed it wasn’t difficult to distribute the funds equally, in the form of gift cards. Would use again.

Easy link to send out to everyone. Easy bank transfer to buy gifts other than on website. I like the message board. The instant asking for tips is frustrating, especially as the amount they suggest is a lot sometimes. I appreciate this is a business but not all staff tip and someone makes up the shortfall usually.
