Easy to set up and share the link with colleagues, along with setting and being able to amend the finish time if needed.
Straight forward to download the money at the end to a bank account but do need to remember to be patient for the money transfering in as can take 24 Hours to show.

Hidden costs and a strange system to purchase gift cards. Downloading and saving as PDF seems very out dated.

They were quick to respond and were able to resolve my case satifactory

The date of birth part didnt work eventhough i clicked on the calendar ( which should come up easily, so I had to literally keep clicking back from the present date (5.8.26) to 1972

Other than that ok!

It was a mixed experience but I’m not sure I’d recommend it for a few reasons.
1. It was glitchy so some people struggled to make contributions which meant the recipient missed out, which is really gutting for such a meaningful collection.
2. It allows you to withdraw the pot which then means you cannot send the card. We withdrew the pot to buy a physical gift and so were unable to send the receipt the card. Very strange and unhelpful.
3. I tried to reopen the pot to add more funds to allow me to send the card. It was glitchy and annoying and when I picked a physical card I didn’t have the option to pay for it with debit card or Apple Pay, it would only allow the balance to be taken from the pot. Of which there was not enough balance so I had to reopen it AGAIN.
4. I couldn’t figure out how to add money without leaving a message to had to keep adding random messages just to be able to send the card!!
5. There was not an option to send a physical card overseas
6. Asked for a contribution to the service when withdrawing despite every single contributor also paying additional 20% on each of their donations
7. Other services allowed me to edit other people’s messages so I could make the layout look tidy and edit spelling mistakes etc. Not possible on this service and the message layout was odd.

Overall not a smooth experience and a bit of a headache but I liked that it could be withdrawn as cash and that was why I chose it. Some of the features were reasonably easy to use. The card options had nice designs.

It feels like collection pot is trying to sneakily take your money. When I went to withdraw the £118 and chose ‘withdraw all’, I noticed that Collection Pot was trying to take £58 and I had to change the settings to remove this. It felt incredibly cheeky and a completely unrealistic cost to support the service, given that every contributor had already contributed via their original donations.

There just needs to be an upfront cost, ie a percentage that will be donated at either the contributer level or at the end of the collection (which would be preferable) and it needs to reflect the realistic costs of running the service for the user.

Such a great company!
Service is top notch and works very well, but the real value is their stellar customer service!
A Human is available quite quick (once you dispatch of the useless AI) and each and every one of their CS representatives are both polite and super helpful!

Got a couple of things I did wrong and both times, they solved it within the hour!

I was sent a collection pot and so far I can't do anything - I can't redeem it, and I can't send a thank you to my colleagues because I just get error messages trying to do anything. The online FAQ bot provided absolutely no help whatsoever.

I have emailed the support team and will continue to update this review if and when I receive feedback.

Relatively simple to set up a pot. Not as clear if you wanted to just add a comment. Great choice of gif, colours etc to personalise your message.
I took the money to purchase a gift separately. Therefore I needed to download all the messages to forward on. It generates a very large gif that isn't easy to share. You also lose all the animation.

Had some slight issues with creating an account but other than that really easy and straight forward

Collection Pot was easy to navigate and use from an organising point of view and easy to set up for people to contribute and leave messages. I received regular progress updates .

Easy to use both for people to donate to & to administer

This is the third or fourth time I have used this company. It couldn't be more user friendly anas easy to navigate both for the person organising the pot or the person donating. I can highly recommend it.
