Annoying fee structure and absurd suggested tip
Felt compelled to leave a review after my latest and last experience. It's already frustrating having each contributor having to pay a fee that makes their contribution some random number (eg £10 = £9.61). And then after taking nearly £20 of fees from £400 of donations - it had the cheek of suggesting a default tip of 50%! Honestly flabbergasted that's a default. Sure fire way for me never to use them again.

Incredibly poor user experience
Not great user experience if I'm honest:
- It charges you every time you want to donate so if people who don't want to accept that charge, if you're organising the collection, you end up with some obscure number if you're trying to do a collection pot, and trying to split it out evenly, or being out of pocket (which is annoying when you've agreed to a set amount).
- Trying to verify your ID is possibly the most painful process. It can't read a UK driving license (I tried multiple times and it kept reading it incorrectly) so I ended up resorting to a passport (which I don't readily keep on me for obvious reasons). Going down the passport route has also meant having to submitting either tax records or bank statements (also not readily available and usually electronic). This is to access a collection pot that I have set up in the same account. These are also sensitive documents that I don't feel comfortable issuing. You also have to take various photos - one normal and one 'happy'. it's now been stop in a doom loop of 'verifying' all of these ID documents. If you press exit (it's super unclear by the way, as it just says it will email you - which it hasn't to date), you have to go through the WHOLE process again. I have gone through this process four times already and still can't verify my ID. Had I known this from the start, I wouldn't have bothered as it is such a faff.
Basically, this site is happy to take people's money, charge you for it, but make it impossible to 'spend' it.
As an update - their AI chat is completely useless. It crashed on me three times, and has ignored me, just keeps asking me if I need help with anything else (they haven't even helped with my first request) and asked me to rate them. Apparently you can speak to a 'human' but if you ask, you just get ignored.
Have downgraded to a one star.
Overall - incredibly poor user experience and hopefully I'll be able to find another alternative going forward!!

Expensive
Convenient to use but they take a percentage of all payments which ends up being quite a bit in the end then the final piss take was when they suggested we contribute a bit to their team when I withdrew the pot and the suggested contribution from the £116 pot was £52. I was able to change that to £0 but wonder how many people click okay and realise to late what they have agreed to. I will use bank transfers in future to avoid the excessive fees

As the organiser I did not find the collection pot user friendly. There are no clear instructions available and therefore difficult to navigate. For example, how to download messages on the wall. I did contact the help desk but still failed to receive helpful responses.

Sneaky fees
Relatively easy to set but the opaque fees and the withdrawal process was sneaky and awful. You have to be careful to delete their suggestions on fees when donating and then they added a suggested 50% ‘tip’ of the total amount collected!!. The captcha failed repeatedly and I had to log in repeatedly. The withdrawal process is designed to be confusing so you have to be very careful. They say you get your funds in 30 minutes, mine was 2 hours but I had very little confidence I would get my money until it actually arrived in my bank. That is why I am giving it 1 star and would not recommend using it again.

If I would leave minus stars I would.
The theory /idea is greaT, however I found after withdrawing the collection money my colleagues had kindly given, that you retained £4- when I tried to withdraw I couldn't and was told you would charge a holding fee for the privilege!
When I queried it I was told the funds had been refunded- to where - no idea. After more frustration I gave up and said keep the money! but please don't send me a bill for a holding fee in a few months time!

Very disappointed with the experience. I was unable to withdraw the collection to my bank account and the money has now disappeared!
I have been chasing this up since last week and still haven't had a reply.

Frustrating when dividing the pot
The collection itself is great but a real pain when splitting. You can only split upto 5 ways and then you cannot stipulate the amounts. I even had an amount that could split evenly but it divided it unevenly. Very very frustrated. Ended up removing all money and buying vouchers elsewhere
