This is a great way to collect the money for the chosen course. Opening collection is incredibly easy and finalising the pot equally straightforward. You can forward the link or QR code for the collection and include all information. You only add a small contribution towards the collection but the service and whole process is really worth it. In my instance a money bank transfer went through within minutes. Recommended 100%

Really easy to use. When I couldn't see how to get the money out the account the chat function was very good. Recommend this app highly.

It was easy to set up and personalise. From an organising point of view it was great to see who had contributed and who hadn't so i could send reminders and as we are spread across the country it made it easy for everyone to contribute.

the set up was fairly simple and useful for the email to send out to colleagues.
What i found confusing was how to withdraw the money to myself as i used the collection pot to buy gifts for the person leaving. If this could be made clearer it would be helpful.

Relatively easy to set up and use. Could be slightly more straight forward once pot is created to stay with the pot. It feels like I had to log in 100 times to finish setting up. But once it was set up, people found it easy to contribute and it was easy to transfer the money to myself in the end to buy the present.

There is no ability to set the split amounts when splitting the pot. This has meant I've had to transfer the money to my personal account to distribute which defeats the whole point of using Collection Pot

Excellent experience with Collection Pot, so easy to sort out teachers/TAs gifts. We've used this application just to collect the money, but there's a variety of ways to spend the pot. Greatly appreciated the flexibility and the smooth experience. It just made everything so easy!

i disliked the fact that if i wanted to transfer them you were charging half o amount!

Simplicity of use was key. It needed marketing from me in different ways at different times, especially towards the last week. It was very successful as have all three been that I have done. We bought our own gifts with the proceeds. I would use it again.

Good experience but unable to handle canadian dollars for the gift. European laws i guess.

Was easy enough to set up a collection pot for end of term teacher gifts. However, when it came to withdrawing the funds there was “a technical issue” which meant they had to do a manual transfer. This resulted in a worrying delay and a stressful experience when I couldn’t access the pot. No phone number so couldn’t speak to anyone and had to send a number of emails to get a response. Other parents had similar experiences so I wasn’t alone. Won’t be using this website again.

I am struggling to get the pot transfered to my bank. Despite several e.mails and a promise of it being transfered today, I still haven't received it.

Collection Pot is a really slick tool to help manage your social work collections for leavers, baby showers, big birthdays etc. Its really easy to use and it takes the pain away from trying to organise this.

What I don't like is the constant prod from the application to want to take increasing fees off people when they are trying to contribute and the 'tips' thing at the end when you try and cash in the money. Suggesting that 50% of what has been contributed goes to the organiser is crazy and turns a socially-motivated exercise into a cynical transaction. Its not easy to bypass either.

So I'll continue to use Collection Pot but its reluctantly..l.

Overall really easy to use and set up. I found the wanted a bit twitchy when it came to spending the pot on vouchers

Such an easy and fantastic way to pool class parents’ funds into the best gift for teachers. Really straightforward to set up, extract, and pass on messages of thanks. Fabulous platform - highly recommend.

Unlike most other low star reviewers I don’t have a problem with paying fees for this service. It’s not unheard of for a business to charge money for a service. I do have a major problem with the substandard website…the chat function claims to have humans but no one replied to me all day despite trying in working hours. I then tried to transfer the balance, this took ages and kept failing. Finally managed that, I also tried to pay for the card with messages printed and posted to my colleague. This failed to work multiple times and now just gives me an error message. Again all this would be fine if the company replied and offered some customer support. I emailed the customer support earlier today and have heard nothing. This makes for a stressful and miserable customer experience. Honestly not only will I not be using this company again but I will also be warning those in my organisation of my poor experience.

I had no experience with collecting contributions for a leaving gift before this, but using Collection Pot was really easy. The only problem I had, but could solve after a while, is how to verify myself through a driving license, etc. I had to repeat the process quite a few times. Otherwise super easy and felt safe.

It was very confusing with the amount and the tip. I wanted to add £15 to the pot but with the tip it ended up only being £13 and I think other don’t the same too
