Great team of people
Great team of people. Prompt, courteous and tidy. All done in a day working from dawn til dusk. They never stop. Very very glad I made the decision to go ahead after years of prevarication. A room to be proud of and used everyday rather than an unloved space which was never sat in.

In the most adverse weather a week before Christmas Connor turned up on Sunday late afternoon and the job was complete by Monday 17.00 , 3 guys rained all the time and completely respected our house , ensuring no comprise on the finish. From start to finish I could not fault the whole project. The assessor was punctual and very polite through the whole process. The team involved in taking the the old roof down and putting up the new one were fantastic you could not meet a nicer group, you could tell they took pride in their work and the final result was bang on

What a difference the new roof made
What a difference the new roof made, from a useless conservatory transformed to a garden room for summer and winter, the guys were fantastic, didn’t stop from the moment they arrived until the job was complete. So pleased wished we had it done sooner.

Efficient and hard working, but a few issues
The salesman was incredibly helpful and not pushy at all. Everything was organised quickly and the roof done in one day. The roofers were friendly, incredibly hard working and tidy. The plasterer did a good job.
However, I think because it was all done in one day a few things went wrong. I had asked for black guttering and they put up white(I could not check this on completion as it was so late and v dark so I could not see). Also I later discovered that the electrics were accidentally cut and so I had to get an electrician in to rewire the lighting.
The room is not as warm as I had hoped, but it is definately better than it was and looks tidy.
I was initially told that you can stand on a cosy roof (to paint walls, clear guttering etc) however I found out after the work was done that you cannot and if you do it can affect your guarantee (I have therefore had to get scaffolding to go around roof which was v expensive, if I'd of known this before I would of painted walls before roof was installed! )

If you're considering options for your conservatory roof look no further!! Absolutely fantastic service from initial quote and survey visit by Martin - to the installation team - JP and Seán. Arrived on schedule and completed within 2 days! Installed an insulated screen to protect the house during the works and wouldn't know they'd been when they left. Plasterer Ben turned up like clockwork and if Picasso did plastering he couldn't have done a better job! Totally satisfied - with recent storms a testament to their work. Would highly recommend.

Awful company
Experience from start to finish was poor. Starting with the surveyor, measured up all the dimensions and priced for lightweight tiles. A week before fitting I was told due to the window above existing roof, they would not be able achieve the correct angle of fall for a tiled roof and a rubber roof would need to be fitted. We agreed after seeing photos of previous works, but ours looks awful, can see manufacturer logos etc. After that I had 3 different occasions for fitters to come out and repairs the leaks from the new roof, coming in where the new lead flashing is fitted. To top it off customer serviced informed me nobody was available over Christmas and I’d have to deal with it flooding for over a week, to which I obviously argued. So your guarantee is fine as long as you don’t have any issues over Christmas. They told me they were happy to cover the cost of the damage, rather than come out to fix it. Do not recommend this company at all.

Left the area neat and tidy and even called back the next day to rectify a bit of filling. Plasterer turned up a day later and did an excellent job. Only need to paint now. Hypersensitive Sales Person
The person I spoke to was more interested in telling me what he wouldn't do than telling me what they would do. When I asked what he would do he said I was rude and he was moving on to his next customer. Therefore no quote for me. Still there are many companies who offer this service.

Very good work
Very good work, friendly cheerful workers, we would recommend Cosyroof. The reason we haven't given 5 stars is because we were told the job would take 2 days and was due to start on a Friday. The men arrived in the afternoon, saw the job then had to go for the materials (They had the details of the requirements on their phone so we couldn't understand why they didn't bring the materials with them) . Their van broke down before they could get back to start work so the job was delayed over the weekend. The work was completed to a high standard within the two days and everything was cleared, cleaned and tidied properly but then we had to wait for the plastering to be done which was two days later. In all the job took a week. With waiting for the plaster to dry and painting the new ceiling our conservatory wasn't in use for two weeks, though of course that part wasn't the fault of Cosyroof. Perhaps organising materials and servicing vehicles would result in a better over all experience for customers.
