Excellent service, short delivery time and each item (4 in all) had been checked and approved by the proprietor and included a box of cakes, presumably for Christmas!

Derails was the only one who had a chassis I needed for an OO9 project - my order dispatched promptly and they reached out to make sure everything arrived alright :)) Everything I’ve seen suggests they have some of the best customer service in the industry.

Great service and prompt delivery, the website is superb easy to navigate and shows "live"stock as well as pre order items ,and even better you get a free small pack biscuits to eat with your brew while you study the latest purchase ,oh and they run a rewards scheme as well !! highly recommended .

Great Model shop. I use De-rails for virtually all my on-line hobby purchases - their service is second to none. Very friendly efficient service - couldn't ask for more - just wish I lived a little closer!

I've just bought a nice Plasser crane from Derails to go with the other things I've bought from them over the years - they're usually the first place I look. Generally good prices and (unusually, these days) free postage over £20. As usual it was sent out quickly, and very well packed - not floating around in a huge cardboard box with some token packing material in with it. The one time I had a problem with an order, which was definitely not their fault, the communication and way they dealt with it was excellent. They also have the best pre-ordering policy I've seen from any company. And if you sign up to their emails you don't end up being bombarded with several a day. I can highly recommend them. I wish more companies were like this!

I recently purchased an EFE Rail Plasser YOB Crane from Derails. The model arrived quickly and securely packaged. Unlike other retailers which charge P&P (or you have to place large orders), with Derails P&P is free with orders over £20. This impressed me greatly as the model itself was no more expensive than from other shops. I also received a follow up email to check that everything was ok, which was a nice touch. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend Derails.

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service and products provided by Dan and his family. My order arrived very quickly with very good communication from Dan. I was also very impressed by the personal, very kind follow up email from Dan which I have to say has been quite unique as opposed to other suppliers, not just in the model railway community.
