I ordered three large bags of flour for bread making and have to say I'm delighted - all arrived on time, well packaged, good value and I'm a very happy customer. Would definitely order from Doves again and am happy to recommend them to others. Thanks for a great service!

I bought Doves Freee Brown bread flour and made a large gf loaf for my Panasonic bread machine. As suggested on the flour bag I baked it on the Basic Rapid option. Once it had cooled and I sliced off I piece it is completely raw inside and inedible. What a waste of time and money. I have been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease for more than 20 years and am used to my bread machine and following recipes. If Doves care to contact me I have photographs to prove I am not exaggerating. Bitterly disappointed.

Came to Trustpilot to write a 5 star review and was so surprised to see 1 stars about customer service! My experience with Doves Farms has been stellar. I purchase biscuits and flour for bread making several times a year. A few times, I have had breakages in the biscuits or flour bags torn. Doves has ALWAYS quickly responded with sending new product without question. Their flour products are fresh and organic, make great bread, and digestive biscuits the best out there. I think they are the best and love that I can order online.

Dreadful customer service. I’ve emailed 3 times now about an order that had been left in a public area and subsequently stolen. The order value was £30! I have had no acknowledgement or response to my emails. Rang and called but was told I can only communicate through email! Been using this company for a couple of years - very,very disappointed.

20th October- despite assurance to look into issue, nearly 2 days later I’ve heard absolutely nothing!!!! What a dreadful way to run a business!

Very disappointed with Doves Farm. I placed my very first order, but didn't receive any confirmation, and the account I set up didn't seem to exist. so I placed another order and set up another account using my second email address, because their website wouldn't accept my main email address. I then received delivery confirmation for both orders, so I emailed to explain what had happened, and to ask for a refund for the first order which seemed to have mysteriously disappeared from their system, so I couldn't cancel it at all. I received an email to tell me to refuse delivery for one of the orders, but both were now on their way. Once I confirmed that the refused delivery was on it's way back to them, they said in writing that they would refund me in full. I did exactly that and to date, despite several reminders, all ignored, and a phone call today, which also seems to have been ignored, I am still waiting for the promised refund. I buy a lot of flour and had moved my purchasing from Matthew's Cotswold Flour purely because the prices at Doves were cheaper. But the customer service stinks and when 44% of all the Trustpilot reviews for Doves Farm are just 1*, I think that speaks volumes.

Customer service appalling. Placed an order and both parcels were left on the road by my house sign which is 100ft from my front door - I was in. Items were taken - no surprise and not Doves fault but their carrier DPD. But also, not my fault, but after 5 days of contacting customer service (web shop form and phone calls each day) they have been useless, and I have had no response from them. Not even an acknowledgement. I have paid, (including delivery), I have no goods and I have no faith in Doves to sort out what should be their problem not mine. Not one word from them...unbelievably disappointing. Perhaps this will prompt some action....wrote this and heard from them an hour later. Expected replacement due on 19th September (order placed 28/08). On questioning apparently error, due 12th. Taken 5 days to get a response and conclusion.

Rubbish Customer service, I ordered 1 x whole meal spelt and 1 x white spelt flour sacks But noticed an error when received order confirmation. Replied back to email I received but that was No-Reply email. Then called on Tel but came to know only option I have is filling a Webform. Filled the form but they bother to reply after delivery asking me to refuse delivery. Now THEY ARE SAYING THEY CAN’t COLLECT LESS THEN 3 items.
Now left with 2 same items
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

It just gets worse! Having received a quick response from Doves Farm about my previous complaint on Trustpilot and being asked to send details of my order which I did promptly I have had no response at all! I will just have to find an alternative supplier.

Useless! took over a week to dispatch a simple 2 item order then gave DPD the wrong address!! to make this worse I cant actually phone a customer service representative as its email only so guess this wont ever get sorted!

First experience of ordering online and the flour has gone missing. Doves Farm don’t have anyone in Customer Services to help. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I am writing this review because of the dismissive response I had when I reported my problem to Doves Farm...but from many of these reviews, it seems I am not alone in getting the brush off...they really couldn't care less!
I recently bought a bag of their buckwheat flour and used 100g of it to make pancake batter. There were many dark lumps floating on the top of the mixture, looking a lot like mouse droppings.
I sieved these out for a closer look - they were dark and fibrous when squashed.
I contacted Doves Farm by email, attaching photos and giving them the batch number of the package, but all they had to say was how rigorous their quality control was and that it must be mold from bad storage. Hummm...I don't think so, I've only had the flour for a few days and the pack is in perfect condition! They told me to take the problem up with the place I'd purchased the flour (Morrisons via Amazon Prime).
To make matters worse, I had already used some of this flour to make a loaf of bread, which I had started to consume before I spotted the problem; when the flour is dry the droppings are coated with flour which disguises them, plus I used seeds in my loaf. I actually had diarrhea the morning after eating two slices.
Needless to say, I am disgusted with their attitude AND their flour!
(I would have added photos but I cannot see an option to do so).

I have a digestive problem and my diet is very limited.
I eat buckwheat pasta every day but your pasta is so inconsistent it’s now inedible just tasteless mush.
I ordered 8 bags costing £30.55 inc delivery.
Complained to them about this matter and basically they do not care!!
Once they have your money that’s it.
I have to honestly say it’s been the worst customer service I have ever come across, it’s just a pity these people don’t have to eat these products everyday they may know the problem then rather than just counting the cash!!

I'm careful about when I order - usually do so now when I have bulk in mind (their large flour bags last really well if you store them correctly). Otherwise postage is expensive. During the pandemic, Dove's Farm food boxes kept this coeliac household going in terms of essentials. I make fresh bread two or three times a week - and Doves Farm provide the key ingredients. Always top quality - always great food.

Always high quality, and always delivered on time. 5 stars!

Absolutely fantastic customer service!! They’re FREEE range is by far the best quality and when a recent order arrived damaged during transit, I emailed them and they called me almost immediately to say they were sending a replacement. I Definitely recommend them!

My daughter is coeliac and we like buying Doves Farm products from the supermarket. I decided to support the company directly by doing a bulk order from their website, which was slightly more expensive than buying from supermarkets but on balance was worth it as I could support the supplier and they (in theory) had a bigger range.

I paid £4.95 for delivery despite doing quite a big order (many suppliers offer free delivery for large orders). I thought this was reasonable at the time but unfortunately delivery took 7 days, which I thought for a paid service was too long.

Additionally there were two products missing (the ones not available in the supermarkets) so the whole exercise was pretty pointless. Doves Farm promptly refunded those missing items but made no attempt to make it right. I would have preferred the items to be posted out later but wasn't given this option.

I wrote to Doves Farm to explain my disappointment but they didn't reply

It is a shame and after this I think I will end up buying more Schar products instead

I have been a fan of doves farm since I was diagnosed as coeliac. Since lockdown I have been purchasing directly from their site and I’ve been delighted trying new items that aren’t available in the shops where I live.My last order was missing an item and they are sending out a replacement, no questions asked. The gluten free products disappeared at the start and finding the ‘basics’ was extremely difficult.They should be really proud of the service they have provided during lockdown. Thank you!

I've been buying Dove's farm products for a few years, and their Organic flour box have been an absolute saviour during the current lockdown. Their products are always excellent quality and delivery super fast. Their customer service is second to none as well. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

What fabulous service in such weird, unprecedented times. Delighted to have been fortunate enough to place my first order (not the last!) with Doves Farm following a first-class recommendation from a friend. Wonderful communication from Shane - a real human being offering a proper family service Vs what often feels like a robotic process when you order online. Can't wait to bake, bake, bake with my mum in law - who has very advanced dementia but put ingredients in front of her and the memories all come flooding back, as does her smile. Thank you 😊

Excellent selection of organic flour and yeast, delivery within three days of ordering, despite the current situation. Great value for money, considering others inflated prices due to current bread flour and yeast shortage. Can not fault products or service in anyway.
