Total failure by Dyson
My fan sparked when on during the night, in Feb 2022. Dyson agreed to take back and replace. Had me sign an agt saying I wouldn't pursue anything further against them. They (claim) didn't have same model of fan in stock (Feb 2022) so sent much larger fan. Far too big and cumbersome and not useful. I told them and they said they would contact when other model available. I emailed several times over several months - since I never heard from them, and their answer always was that with global supply issues that model wasn't available. Finally late Dec 2022 they said they had the fan (in answer to my email). So I packed up the big fan in its box (which I had to store for 10 months - its almost 4 ft tall). Replacement fan arrived - seemed rather large when courier dropped it off. Looked at packaging - its the same stupid fan I just returned. Emailed customer service (about the 12+ email over this debacle) and they claimed that's what I wanted. Seriously - why would I return a model I didn't want only to get the exact same model in return? Fan in box weighs 12 pounds (courier label says this) - so not an easy thing to lug around! Horrific frustration - Dyson wasn't believable at all - I even sent them a photo of the model I wanted selling on Amazon.ca by Dyson. So now I'm stuck with this large fan, still in the box. Completely useless for me. Customer service just gave me a complete runaround for 11 months - and I doubt our little signed agt has any legal weight since they didn't fulfill their end of the bargain. Anyone want to buy a fan - I'll need to sell this one to then buy the much smaller one on Amazon. Do better Dyson - and don't give customers the run around for 10 months!!!
Designed to break right after warranty ending
My vacuum battery started acting up just before the warranty was going to end. I contacted them and they took me through troubleshooting which solved the problem.....now a month later the exact same problem is happening and cleaning the filters didn't fix it. They won't replace the battery under warranty even though it's the same problem from a month ago. I used to recommend this company to all my friends and now I feel scammed and that they design their products to stop working right after the warranty ends.
Bad Customer Service
Customer service is bad and does not keep their said dates to contact you. Delayed shipment of 17 days and result was cancelation and replace order.
Horrible quality and even worse customer service
I purchased my Dyson air wrap a little over two years ago and the warranty unfortunately just recently expired. Over the course of my Air Wraps life I have had difficulty on and off with it sometimes not turning on. Each time I would reach out to the Dyson representatives who just kept telling me to wash and clean my filter. This would often work but I’m not somebody who would use my tool every single day and sometimes months would go by between me using it. Well now it won’t turn on at all, and Dyson won’t help me because I’m past the two-year point. Instead of trying to help me the representative said I’m out of luck and Sent me the link to buy a new product. These machines are $700! I saved up so hard to be able to purchase one of these and spent hours doing research trying to decide if it was the right product for me and the product was faulty right from the beginning but Dyson didn’t help me and it’s definitely not helping me now that the warranty is expired. For $700 they should have a warranty that lasts longer than two years, I actually see that they less than the warranty to know one year! $700 is insane and the product should have a similar warranty to their vacuums which I believe is around five years. I’m super disappointed now because I loved my air wrap and the results gave me but I’m now out of luck and stuck with a broken machine that was likely broken from the beginning that Dyson didn’t help me with. Oh and I only used it around 30 times. If you do the math, that costed me $23 per use. I could have gone to the salon for that price
Terrible customer service
Had trouble with Dyson V6 vacuum with no warranty available since old machine. Wrote to customer service and then phoned after completing troubleshooting. The person that answered phone call did not listen to me at all. Definitely using form letters to communicate, offered me discount on new machine but when I checked with retail stores here their prices were lower! Unbelievable. I bought a new vacuum which I like,
but hope I never have to deal with customer service again.
2 brand new vacuums and a replacement battery and still the problem persists!
I bought a V10 Animal on July 11th 2022. The one I received wasn't charging properly. I would have to use the vacuum for a minimum of 3 continuous minutes before it would start to charge. That's 3 minutes using the torque drive cleaner head which is a motorized head and uses more battery power. If I was to use an attachment like the duster which doesn't require more battery power it would probably take twice as long if not longer before it would start to charge. I contacted Dyson and sent them a video and they told me ''Based on the troubleshooting steps, we see that replacement Main body would resolve the issue but as your vacuum is brand new one I would like to exchange your machine to resolve the issue''. I had to send my vacuum back along with all the attachments and everything and then it had to be inspected by a technician to make sure there was a problem with it before they would release the replacement. They released the replacement so the technician obviously found a problem with the vacuum. I got the replacement and it had the exact same problem AGAIN. I contact Dyson again and send them 3 more videos and this time they tell me ''A replacement battery will resolve the issue''. The battery did NOT resolve the issue! Not only did it not resolve the issue but Purolator tried to deliver it to the wrong house on my street and that person wasn't home so they left a delivery notice card of where to go pick it up. The person who lives at that house came and gave me the delivery notice card when he got home and found the card in his mailbox. It cost me $35 to take a taxi to go pick it up! Anyways, so AGAIN I contact Dyson and send them 3 more videos showing that I'm still having the same problem even with the replacement battery and it has now been 6 days without a reply from them! 2 brand new Dyson V10's and a replacement battery and still the problem persists! There is very obviously a defect with the V10! I went on their website to check something and it now says that the V10 Animal has been discontinued. GEEEE, I wonder why! It's no wonder they had it on sale, trying to dump their stock of a defective vacuum. I have filed a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau and have also contacted Consumer Protection. I will also be making a YouTube video showing the problems with the V10 and to share the poor experience I've had with Dyson. I will leave a link to that video once I have completed it and uploaded it.
They use bots
They use bots - zero custom service. They don’t help nor read emails to understand a customers experience. Instead of troubleshooting, they push and coerce you to buy/purchase a new overpriced and expensive machine. Their products do not last and are very overpriced. Zero support after you buy. Very disappointed, zero value and no recourse after you buy.

-5 starts. Rude customer service on the phone. When I asked the agent to transfer me to a manager, she hung up on me. They ended up taking my hair dryer for inspection and said they will return back to me in 10 business days. They did NOT. I called to follow up and the agent mentioned she will call back in 10 mins. She never called back. I called again and asked for a decent human being to talk to, but actually none of their employees have any decency because basically they feel they can do whatever you want. When you ask for a manager to complain to, they deny you this right and give you an email to send a complaint, and of course, I sent several emails and nobody cares. Now they have my device that I paid for as a hostage. I can’t get it back, I can’t get a new one. I will report them to any regulating body I can find to report this theft

J’ai acheté un aspirateur de 500$ en ligne chez Dyson. Cette compagnie fait effectuer la livraison par PUROLATOR. Faisant face à des problèmes de livraison par cette compagnie j’ai appelé Dyson qui me dit de communiquer avec Purolator ce que je fais depuis 3 jours sans réponse satisfaisante et après de longues attentes au téléphone. En posant plusieurs questions à leur représentante du service à la clientèle j’ai fini par comprendre que Dyson se lave les mains de nos problèmes et que si jamais votre colis a été perdu ou volé vous devrez vous débrouiller avec Purolator. Ils refusent d’entrer en communication avec Purolator pour vérifier ou est rendu votre colis. À vous de vous débrouiller. J’attends toujours mon colis qui doit être livré aujourd’hui pour la 3e fois. ( voir mon avis au sujet de Purolator). Ça donne une idée de la considération qu’ils ont pour leur client et ça me rend fort sceptique sur la façon dont cette compagnie honorera sa garantie éventuellement.
Dernière chose, la représentante du service à la clientèle a qui j’ai parlé parle un français à la limite du compréhensible . Comme je peinais à la comprendre j’ai demandé à parler à un autre agent parlant francais. Elle m’a répondu que tous les agents français avaient « un accent ». Bonne chance avec Dyson.
WARNING! - New Dyson Cordless Vacuums do not last
Purchased a V-10 Animal a little more than 2 years ago, and paid around 700$ for it. Used it only occasionally for spot clean-ups. After 2 years and one week (one week past the warrantee), it just stopped working, almost like it was on a timer, blinking three green lights once when the trigger was pressed. Calling Dyson service, they said I needed a new one and this was normal. I asked them if it was reasonable that we should expect to pay $350 per year for a dyson and they did not reply. Not good customer service. Not good quality. I think they used to be better quality as my old dysons are still working. Something has changed.

Their vacuums are useless . Their customer service is worse . The fact that most of their process for service is online or by email confirms that there are so many issues they cannot keep up with humans dealing with the number of complaints .When you get a human , they are just as useless . “ we will call you back “ …that means “ let me get you off the phone so I don’t have to deal with you “ NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK , ! Dyson V8 Animal - Motor gone after 3 and a half years of use.
We purchased a Dyson V8 Animal November 2018 - just over 3 years ago. We do not have kids or pets. The last couple of months we have noticed the motor keeps cutting out. Contacted Dyson and they indicate the motor needs to be replaced... after less than 4 years of use. Very Disappointing!!! Should have just bought a swiffer broom....

Just purchased the Dyson Upright Allergy+....big mistake....Here's why...
1. Have to unwind the whole chord to use the wand
2. Using the wand for cleaning other than floors could possibly give you a hernia....so ridiculous its almost funny...
3. Doing stairs is a joke because the whole upright moves towards you because the hose is so tight it pulls on it...
4. Did someone say Lightweight..?? Lifting it up to walk up the stairs was painful...
5. What were you thinking..???
Today it goes back to the store...good thing I saved the box...This is my second Dyson....never again..what a joke...
A follow up on my purchase of a Dyson…
A follow up on my purchase of a Dyson V8 stick vacuum. I phoned today to see why my replacement battery hadn't arrived. I was told that it will take between 10 to 14 days to process the order, then another 10 to 14 days to have it delivered, so I might have to wait 28 days for a replacement battery. This will be almost 2 months since I placed my original order, I find this unacceptable. I can't understand why Dyson didn't test the original battery before sending out the product.
Customer service very frustrating!!
Purchased a Dyson V7 vacuum and in just over a year the battery died. I was told by Dyson that I could either wait for a new battery that was on back order or a replacement vacuum with the original warranty. I chose the replacement. Dyson was to send a box with a shipping label so send I could send my vacuum to them. It took two calls to finally get the box.
A couple of weeks later I received an email saying a new vacuum had been shipped and a tracking number was given so I could check on it.
Basically after some time and checking the tracking number the courier company could not find my vacuum and informed me I should get Dyson to launch an investigation.
Dyson informed me that I was to provide them with "screen shots" of my e-mails with the courier company and file a "lost/stolen" report with the police. I did as they asked and they are still insisting they need more information.
This has been going on for over two months now and I am so frustrated. I almost feel as if they are stalling so that the warranty on the vacuum runs out before I get a replacement if I ever do.
I have never dealt with a manufacturer that has such bad customer service. I will never buy a Dyson again!!
Their products are expensive but worth it
Their products are expensive but depending on which model you take you have a quality product that will most likely survive for years. I took a cordless vaccum and it work perfectly, and I can change the battery in some years when it will have problems. I bought also a refurbished fan from their Ebay store and I got a warranty with it (in most cases, refurbished products don't come with a warranty but with Dyson it comes with it)

1. Battery life, the life on the batter is very short.
2. Tried to contact manufacturer without success regarding the seal because I now can’t vacuum at the max setting.
Won’t buy another Dyson until this is resolved.

Save your money and do NOT buy dyson
I bought a dyson stick that converts to a hand held vacuum in Oct 2018. Now in Oct 2021 the battery stopped working and the device will not hold a charge. When the vaccum was operational the suction was great and it is nice to have no bags to empty. However the inability of the battery to recharge after 3 years is the reason for the rating. I have a dustbuster cordless vac that is 8 years old and it still works. I paid 10 dollars for the dustbuster on sale and my dyson costs 299 dollars. Will never buy another dyson. Not worth the money.

Dysons are complete junk, cheap plastic crap, battery lasted under a year and of course Dyson has none in stock,so the warranty is worthless.
I have owned many vacuums and dyson is absolutely the worst product I have owned.
