We ordered Ebac dehumidifier 4650 (18) litre . Easy to connect with your phone . The smart system works well in our new build home .
Now got a washing machine and dehumidifier all made in UK best of all in the north east .

arrived quickly and in very good order.I appreciated the automatic warranty on the product provided
Will use Ebac again as they are very helpful and reliable

Paid £1100 for a dehumidifier, it didn't do the job so I contacted CS told them my parameters they said it is correct for the task

Months go by, I asked if I put a second in there will it get the humidity levels down, CS - no that's not how dehumidifiers work, I said well this isn't doing its job as stated, they said if I want I can pay to have it sent back & inspected, I lived with it taking their advice assuming I'm in the wrong as they had made out.

One day I notice a strange burning smell maybe 6 months later, I could not work out where it was coming from or what it was, spent considerable time searching for it & it seemed to change over time

2 years pass & I'm not happy with the dehumidifier it's putting out less water than a £100 netta I put in the room with it so I call again, CS - it must be dirty or you can pay to have it inspected - I explain this is in a "clean room" ulpa15 hepa 14 intakes the foam looks brand new

3 years later it's dead, for an unknown reason I call, Service engineer - sounds like condenser, would be cheaper to buy a new unit than replace

4 years later it's sat there but I feel robbed so I don't wish to throw away £1100 & at this point I take it apart myself, discover it had been assembled incorrectly and the exit pipe routed around the back of the condenser motor, the first smell I assume was the insulation burning up, the mysterious smell when it finally stopped was the drainage tube completely melting shut which I assume is what killed it, I called & again I could pay for an inspection & why did I wait so long to ask to pay more money for a dehumidifier that should've worked correctly in the first place... I argued & he said he'd get it collected at their expense.

I am nearly a year on since that phone call, no contact, no collection, £1100 down for something that never worked that they made out was my misunderstanding of how it works

So if you have a problem, be persistent, don't act in good faith because the courtesy will not be returned & you're more than likey correct to assume your product is useless

NETTA 35L 485w circa £150 beats all of ebacs range on paper for nearly 10% of the price & has worked flawless for me since day 1, EBAC you still owe me £1100 or an RM85 that works.

My order from Ebac arrived before I even expected it. Excellent service from an outstanding company, as always. My Ebac dehumidifier has been a lifesaver in drying out some severe mould from a leaking dishwasher pipe. I can highly recommend this company.

Item was received when promised and works well our Last one from Ebac lasted 15 years but needed one for laundry also.

Great washing machine up to the point when it wasn't.

The fact that you no longer manufacturer washing machines, is no excuse for the lacklustre after sales service.

I have been without a working machine for more than 2 weeks due to spare part lead time, I would assume that you would be well stocked with parts, if you no longer assemble the complete machines.

The service was 1st class from ordering to delivery can’t fault it well done , will definitely use them again.

Not much to say about the castors, except they arrived promptly, fitted nicely and came with good instructions (in English English). As for the dehumidifier they're for, it was bought with the theory that less humid air would be less oppressive in the heatwaves, without the complexity of a full air conditioning unit. It does the job but adds its own heat while operating, so a 50/50 result.

Can't fault the new washing machine BUT... Apart from seeing they have stopped producing washing machines now that's disappearing .. would I buy any more Ebac products 🤔 i was looking at there heat pumps but No as if they can't make washing machine pay the heating pumps don't stand a chance.. shame really the washing machine is very good 🤗

Sad to read that Ebac washing machines are no longer being made. The company cited increasing material costs and competition from far eastern manufacturers. I bought an Ebac washing machine back in 2020 and from that day the machine has been fantastic. It is serviceable, repairable and will go on when cheap imports will fail after a few years having designed their machines with built in obsolescence. Ebac did their very best in producing a great product which will stand the test of time. Yes, their machines did cost more than a throwaway product. They cost more because more was put into them, which means you will get more out of them.
So, the very last Great British washing machine manufacturer is priced out of the market.
When will consumers learn that there's no cheap way around anything?

I went through their "Find the right model for you" and decided on the 4850 21Lt model.
Buying direct you get a 5 year warranty registered for you.
I found that the machine was filling a bucket each day. Now settling down with the smart control.
It must be working as the doors shut easily now..
The clothes drying function works well.

I have an Ebac washing machine. Which developed an error. I reported this to Ebac and the customer service was excellent!

The person I spoke to on the phone at Ebac was great and she arranged an engineer. I called at 9am, by 2pm the engineer - also great - had visited and fixed it. Could not ask for more.

Very good so far. WiFi is useful especially for bucket full notifications.
