I have never known such a useles company.
I have never known such a useless product as MyEquifax which relies on a sister company Consents Online to make it work in a seameless way with MyEquifax and the banks. It is rubbish - Equifax and Consents Online just keep providing one balance for a bank not 30days worth and getting errors 'myEquifax access denied to view your account'. I've reported cases to both companies but they just blame each other and close my cases. Equifax - sort these idiots out - Please.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam – impossible to cancel free trial!
Signed up for a free trial but the system never let me access my credit report anyway. I tried to cancel online on Monday well before the 15th September deadline, but the system conveniently "failed."I had to waste ages on the phone to customer service. First, a woman said a "system error" meant she had to log a case to cancel it. Unconvinced, I called back yesterday. A man assured me it was cancelled and no payment would be taken, but claimed they "don't send cancellation emails." Worse, the cancellation case is still sitting open on my online account! This is a blatant con to force people past the trial date so they can steal a payment. Can Equifax please confirm that my subscription is fully cancelled, the case number raised was 260824-6590067. Do not touch my bank account on 15th September. Avoid this company at all costs!

If you paying your credit score goes…
If you paying your credit score goes up, if you stop paying start going all the way down, you can be green and good and all the rest of companies but if you don’t pay them gonna be red and poor.

Don't bother - is it a con????
Don't bother. I filled out all the usual information to sign up — name, address, telephone number, etc. I then provided my debit card details so they could bill me once the free trial ended.
I subsequently completed all the required checks, including the liveness check, ID verification and address verification. Initially, everything appeared to go smoothly, with all checks coming back as successful.
However, three days later, I still cannot access my credit score. I then received an email stating that Equifax could no longer verify my address using either the bank statement I provided or the letter from the tax office that I had submitted as additional evidence.
To make matters worse, I cannot cancel the free trial or prevent the upcoming payment through my account when signed in.
What makes this particularly interesting is that the debit card details I provided were happily accepted and authorised for payment. That card is linked to the very bank account shown on the bank statement I provided, which is registered to the same address that Equifax now claims it cannot verify.
So, Equifax, you are apparently happy to accept and authorise payment from a debit card linked to an address that you simultaneously claim you cannot verify. Very interesting indeed.
At this point, I want my account cancelled and permanently closed, with confirmation that no payment will be taken. I want nothing further to do with Equifax.

Beyond morons in their customer service…
Beyond morons in their customer service department. They have incorrect data for me ( missing 7 years of addresses and everything that goes with it ) I reported it and they told me it had to be reported to clear score. Clear score immediately apologised and corrected my score from fair to completely perfect.
I waited a month assuming Equifax would reflect it on the next report.
They didn’t.
So I explained to them as above , and they’ve replied saying “try joining the electoral role etc etc “ and closed the case. My issue isn’t my credit, that’s perfect with everyone else, it’s with them.

Very bad user interaction
Very bad user interaction. Not friendly enough for foreigners that only accept UK bank account (you should consider more solution for foreigners). All the process must be done by established settings and it's very unhuman-centred. I feel so helpless doing this credit check, the support replied so slow. And it caused my rent application being cancelled.

Worst app ever
Worst app ever. Constantly having to sign in and app opening safari for full functions. And then asking to sign in again. App log in does not allow stored passwords or face recognition

Great Service
Information held on me by Equifax has helped me in being aware of my recent credit history and how I stand. Service is great and invaluable. However, I do not now need the service enough to pay a monthly subscription for. It could be helpful for example if monthly subscription fees were reviewed according to varied needs if possible.
