How did this scenario happen? Why is it necessary to compliment people for doing EXACTLY what their job description describes as their job? I am the first one to compliment someone when they go above and beyond their job description, but why the other? NOBODY ever complimented me when I did what was expected of me, and nothing more . . . . . Maybe I should have never been in the military.

I was considering services to trace my lineage back to the mid 1700's. As I asked around, I started hearing the experiences other people are having with information they received from other historic ancestry banks. I reached out to Genealogy with questions and was quickly assured that the service offered by Genealogy Bank were fact based articles and accounts that were documented in News Papers and other historic media outlets thorugout history. I was educated on the sources and how I could use these documents to begin my research. I felt the complete assurance that Genealogy Bank is a reliable source and an effective research tools for my project.

I like Genealogybank because it seems to have papers that my other historical newspaper subscriptions do not have. It is easy to look up information. It would be nice to be able to have it search for words together, especially names. With Newspapers.com you use quotation marks and it looks for the words together within the article. I like how it separates news articles and obituaries, especially if that is what I am looking for. I would like to be able to move articles I want easier into Ancestry.com If there is an easy to do it I want to know. It is easy to update what you are looking for. I like how what I am looking for is divided by States, then cities.

Had a renewal charge that was a surprise. I responded and the rep said there would be no problem getting that refunded. No pushback at all. Makes me more likely to consider joining in the future. Thank you.

Appreciate the customer service and the product Genealogy Bank

It was fantastic to know about family events, family members visiting for a few days, in New jersey, visiting relatives in Boston and New York etc.

Timely response and resolution to my issue.

I thought that my trial of this site was cancelled. Supposedly it wasn't according to the agent that messaged me. It would be nice to get an reminder saying your trial ends on a certain date. Last year was a crazy year with the health of my mom and taking care of her. She was a bit more important than trying to remember things.

Your staff are excellent - they helped me get started again. I renewed my membership -- I had been ill and had not been able to get to genealogy. But am on the mend.

On my prior renewal, I was told that if I cancelled auto renewal, the price would go up on the next renewal, so I kept it on. Then when it renewed automatically this time at twice the rice I was not happy. I was graciously given anther year at the previous price and auto renewal was cancelled for me. I will, therefore, over the next year assess whether your service is worth the increase in cost and renew or not accordingly.

My payment problem was resolved quickly and I completely satisfied.

What the renewal rate is from the start. It was vague.

Although I was canceling my subscription, your representative, Marilyn, was very understanding and helpful. I certainly would consider resubscribing when I again have the time and interest.
