From my experience Giftcloud hides their complaints process. I did exactly what I was meant to do to get my gift card. I placed my order and paid my bills.I gave them all the proof they asked for. I sent my original tracking email, confirmation from EE that EE finished the order, my full bill history, and my latest bills. Even with all of this, they still have not given me my gift card.

What is worse is that they refuse to share their complaints process. When I asked for it, they just made excuses. "Anne and the Giftcloud Team" sent me this exact reply:

"Regarding your request for our formal complaints procedure, we will need to ensure this is directed to the appropriate team so that your concerns can be reviewed correctly. We cannot confirm from the information currently available whether your case would fall within the remit of an ombudsman."

A good business does not hide how to complain. By hiding their complaints process, they fail basic consumer rights and do not honour their deals. Avoid them!

Dealing with Giftcloud has been terrible. I was meant to receive a gift voucher when I took out a broadband package with EE, after seeing an offer on Uswitch that advertised a free Giftcloud voucher with purchases made through the offer link.

140 days passed and I received no communication about the voucher from Giftcloud or EE. So I contacted Giftcloud and was told to contact EE. I phoned EE and they told me to contact Giftcloud. Then "Jes" at Giftcloud just told me to contact EE again.

They're very unhelpful! I suspect I am not even talking to a real person, just an AI agent, because he keeps repeating the same set phrases in his messages, and he keeps telling me to do things he knows I've already done. Either he's a bot or a very uninterested human.

It looks to me like something has gone wrong with the technical side of things and so my email was not registered when I made the purchase via the offer link.

Fairly quick but with a small processing time. I had to reach out but they were quick and professional. Thanks

Keep your original EM confirming that the reward has been approved. In my case it was payable up to 140 days after my broadband switch. That is fine but of course it didn’t arrive and had to be chased. Gift Cloud said it had been sent but this was incorrect as I had put their address into my contacts and also checked spam/junk. Another link was sent.
Clunky process to set up the card as you can’t store the item in your digital wallet.
Did a small test payment which worked so took the whole balance across into a trusted gift card.
Not a scam as some are suggesting but a frustrating process from start to finish.
