Great experience with Hern & Crabtree. Marketed my property with a very attractive brochure and photography. Very helpful staff and when things fell through with the original buyer, they were able to rescue the sale on the same day with another buyer which ultimately worked out for the best. Recommended!

Just sold my house through H&C Llandaff office and whilst I’m not planning on moving again for some time I will definitely be using H&C when I do. From the first valuation with Owen H&C came across as professional, trustworthy with really good knowledge of the local area. This proved to be the case when our house sold within 48 hours of first viewing for the top end of the guide price. The rest of the team we’re just as friendly and helpful as Owen and kept us updated throughout the sale. They also gave honest and open advice about our onward purchase even though we weren’t buying through them. I won’t say the move was completely stress free but any problems that came up were definitely minimised by the team. Would highly recommend to anyone selling in the Llandaff area.

With so many options these days, choosing the right company to deal with can be quite stressful. But I can highly recommend Hern and Crabtree and assure you the staff at the Llandaff branch were very helpful. Having just sold our home through Hern & Crabtree and purchased through a different estate agent company in Rhiwbina, the difference in service, professionalism and attitude could not have been more different.

From the initial valuation, Anthony - Manager @ the Heath office - filled us with confidence regarding the process and what level of service we could expect, and throughout, Anthony and his colleagues in the Heath office, did not disappoint. The valuation was accurate and his promise of viewings was spot on (20 in the first weekend!!), which meant that we were able to achieve over asking price by leveraging the initial interest in our house.

Special mention also to Jan, sales progression, who frankly puts many other estate agents and solicitors to shame. In this age of technology there is no reason why accurate updates can’t be provided in a timely way, and those who tried to do as little as possible and let things ‘trundle’ along, were given short shrift by Jan...who kept in regular contact with all parties in the chain to ensure we exchanged and completed in good time.

Having moved a number of times this is one of the few that I have genuinely felt that the estate agency has earned their commission, and this review!! We have recommended H&C to a number of friends and they have been equally impressed by what they’ve seen & experienced. Well done…and thank you Anthony, Jan & the H&C team!

We used Hern and Crabtree in Caerphilly Road. From the very first meeting they were not just friendly and professional but honest to a tee. Something you don’t always find with estate agents. Their advice and understanding about our needs and life were invaluable.
We eventually found a house also listed with them as well as selling ours with them. This turned out to be invaluable. They helped the process enormously letting us visit the new house many times to measure up and Jan in the sales progress role was the most wonderful person to deal with through a stressful time. We had some issues with our vendor not being able to move out on time, so Antony even came and moved her belongings on the day - above and beyond the service of an estate agent!
