Very bad company, not honest and not clear with the taxi insurance cover. You are not covered to take goods, shopping, parcels and food. Even if you take a passenger to the airport, the luggage and belongings are not covered. You can't even deliver a letter, printer paper, car parts and no public liability. You get charged for the above mentioned extra. Insure taxi charged me £1365 for 1 year which I paid in full, after 6 months and 22 I decided to change with another insurance that will cover my car, passengers and their luggage, goods,
shopping and food(takeaway) and public liability. I had a refund of £341 instead of £565. this is their excuse for ripping me off of my hard earned money: minus administration fees and part discount reclaimed back total £224 without a final itemised receipt, bearing in mind that i had a long wait of 60 days. Insure taxi staff think that is normal to keep your money for 2 month without getting charged interest. All the time I've dealt witth the staff, they gave me the feeling that they want to get rid of me rather then solve the problem. I acted with good faith but I was ripped off and left very bitter about how I was treated.( I must acknowledge and congratulate "Martin" on 27/06/2025, I appreciate very much the help he gave me to recover the money. I spoke with Sue Hartley on the phone regarding a premium the insurance company wants to charge me due to my insurance having to be cancelled, not by my choice. Sue has been helping me to deal with the situation and has been very supportive. Hopefully the complaint will end positively.

She was quite helpful by carrying me along through the renewal process and while in communication with the insurance company to clarify certain issues.

I had my renewal and dealt with Lucy at first and then Toni McGarvey, Lucy was very good and did exceptionally well in getting me the right quote at a price that I was actually happy with which is very rare when dealing with Insurance.

I used insure taxi as a broker. Our car was stolen and had to make a claim. Just called them and spoken to Oliver Collard, in few minutes he sorted everything out for me. I had no hassle at all. I think Oliver Collard is a gem to the company. I am really happy I used Insure Taxi
