If no stars were available I'd multiply it by ten as absolute bullies saying i owe ID Mobile money who are just as bad and have provided some proof that it's all settled and still these people try to come after me as happy to go to court and embarrass you lot and show you how stupid you lot are

A Utilities debt was referred to them so I went onto their website to set up an affordable payment plan, after being told from their budget planner that my disposable income was £300 the system would let me enter any figure under £100 even though it said it needed to be 25% of my disposable income.

Even trying to set it up to a different date i.e. the same as your pay day was too hard for them as it says to set up a different date you need to pay a pound.

Tried their online chat and after pressing a lot of options was just greeted with a message that no agents are free and I have to call them

Chasing debt that doesn't exist, and threatening debt collection services without court procedure! Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to score any lower than 1!

Sent letters that was not even addressed to me but stated the family member was living at my home and what proof you have for that?

cowards. Go and bully someone else not me.
Go get proper jobs providing to society not going against it. Oh but you might start crying and have this pulled down by company in a bad light.

Disgusting company! keep sending threating letters to my daughters address saying they owe money for an Octopus energy bill from 2023, she moved in this year and was not the legal owner at that time! Have rung and emailed on several occasions to be fobbed off by rude staff. This is clearly a SCAM and if they continue to send letters threating to turn up at the property they will be the ones receiving threating letters from my solicitors, i have since contacted the ombudsman and filled an official complaint!! Case reference 43588194 just so you know i am not joking!!

I have received several threatening letters from this company saying that I owe Laybuy £187.40 a company that is into administration, with no customer service. I don’t have an account with Laybuy and I don’t know where they got my details from. If you call their number they ask for your date of birth, and your sensitive information. How can I trust a company that does not do fact checks and is asking for my sensitive information? What if they use this to apply for credits on my behalf? I am absolutely horrified by this bad company.

I too am getting threatening letters demanding payment for Octopus Energy at an address I left twelve years ago. I was with another energy supplier when I was there and settled my final bill with them before I left. Have written to and emailed Octopus asking if they have a customer at this address who may be using my name. No response. It makes me wonder if they're all in it together. Despicable companies both of them, and especially LCS.

Be very aware of this scam,

Received a letter to pay £4098 for electricity supplied by (e .on), I ve contact them to find out what’s going on, but they been very rude and unprofessional, they want me to pay without even any proof that I owe e.on any money!

After that I contacted e.on to find out what’s going on and they admitted that the bill was created based on estimated calculations even though we have sent them the actual readings many times and we are up to date with all payments, they failed to update their information since over 15 months!!!

E.on confirmed that we owe them nothing but no apology for wasting our time for a couple of hours over the phone!!!

Going to move from e.on soon as I believe both e.on and LCS tried to scam me with a bill that doesn't exist in the first place!!!!

Received a letter 6 weeks ago apparently on behalf of my electricity provider. Letter was not labelled with my name, it was just to the “occupier” - first red flag. Surely if my provider was concerned about monies owed (which it absolutely is not because I had my provider app which confirms we’re to date), they would have provided this scam of a company, my full name.

I left a call back request via their website immediately after reading the letter and have not heard a bake bean since.

This company has since contacted my landlord directly (absolutely appalling behaviour) and now I’m having to have conversations directly with my landlord to ease his concerns. Having to screen shot my payments out and electric provider app to prove my innocence.

The level of anxiety and my time wasted because of this company is disgusting.

I will be formalising a complaint to the relevant governing body.

This is absolutely outrageous! I received an email that I have £16.000 outstanding payment for energy bill since January 2023 and the energy bill asked them to recover the payment. I never received any bill from energy supplier because when I moved in the landlord said the energy is included. I do not know what should I do as I never received any bill from the energy supplier

What an appalling company. Contacted me claiming monies were owed. Threatened to send in the bailiffs etc. However the debt didn’t exist, no monies were due. I challenged them then they said they were no longer instructed and did nothing more.

They do no due diligence on debts being due and don’t care. No better than the scammers from overseas.

Should be Zero but won't let me do ,Have an outstanding child tax credit according to HRMC when every year they agreed on everything, had to start paying back after letters received and then within months it was sold to LCS and my payment was agreed as before ,had a call today I need to 5 fold my payment up and when said I was being threatened, they said they weren't and then they came up some alleged agreement saying the payment has to be within so many years and I have original paperwork and that mentions nothing about it ,absolute bully boys

Awful company.. They lied demanding date of birth, email and phone number before they would talk about the letter even though it had nothing to do with us, first they said it was for security then admitted they didnt have this info... They are just phishing and tried to say it was up to us to tell them who the debt belonged to.. Very rude on the phone and 2 people hung up on me

Theese people are bullies and They dont care about destroying someones life and they will laugh at you in the phone.

The most annoying, harassing and brain dead stupid company, they don’t know their head from their backsides, harassing and calling on a million different mobile numbers, finding my PARENT’S address and writing to them directly harassing and threatening them, when the debt is in MY name only, and is already being paid off via third party which they have on their records as well as the original debtor’s records, not a single brain cell in the whole company as well as intimidation tactics and harassment

Incompetent clowns 🤡! Falsely accusing innocent people of debts which is a criminal offence! Been sent two threatening letters about an outstanding debt of £2481.33 for electricity in a flat where I used to live. Despite me calling them and explained that I moved out 1 month prior, they’ve sent me another threatening letter weeks later! What is FCA and FOS doing letting criminals in suits and ties openly operating like this? It’s about time they step in and start giving hefty fines and shutting cowboys like this because all they do is they bully innocent vulnerable people!!! They’ve caused me deterioration in my health by their false accusations, yet they don’t have decency to admit their mistakes and apologise. Disgusting behaviour!!! I will be sending all correspondence to FCA to raise an official complaint against them!!! Please people more people will do this, sooner these clowns will get shut down!!!

From the looks of all the other reviews it appears we’re in the same boat as alot of other people.

We purchased/completed on our new property Oct 23 & we are STILL being chased for OVO debts relating to the previous owners. I have emailed both companies attaching all the proof of the day we moved it. Ovo have finally got the message however we are still getting letters relating to a debt which has nothing to do with us. Terrible customer service, terrible company!!!

I continue to receive notifications from them claiming unpaid electricity bills and demanding money, despite not residing at that address. I emailed them regarding this issue but received no response. Two months later, they send me a letter alleging that I agreed to pay the bill! What kind of unprofessional company is this?

I cannot understand why any reputable company would use LCS to deal with their customers. I have been sent letters on numerous occasions by LCS acting on behalf of Shell Energy. In each case the debt (around £100) is not mine but that of a previous tenant in a property I own.

They send the same two stock letters every few months and fail to act on, or acknowledge, messages I send to them. They provide a callback service which never produces a call back.

Definitely not worthy of the one star minimum rating. Sadly I doubt they care at all about how they are rated.
