Great communication from initial booking worked around my availability..Steph came to do the measuring, lovely person, so pleasant explained everything completely, had great photos to show so I could see what I actually was looking for. Definitely ask for Step to do your measuring. No pressure at all to order, went through all finance options to me. Can't wait to get it fitted now. Thanks Steph .

Absolutely brilliant job from start to finish. The two lads (andy and lucas) who fitted our flooring were fantastic — really down to earth and friendly, and by the end of the job we felt like we’d known them for years!
We had a few issues with the existing floor levels, but nothing was too much trouble. They sorted everything out and made sure the finished floor looked spot on.
Really pleased with the quality of the work and would definitely recommend them. Thanks again, lads! x

Andy and Lucas came yesterday to do some laminate flooring on my stairs and landing and they did an absolute fantastic job of it they was friendly professional people kept the area clean and tidy and we are extremely happy with the job they have done will definitely recommend them and will be getting them back to do some more flooring in the near future

Karl visited my home to measure up and brought the carpet samples with him. An appointment with the fitter was also confirmed during this visit. Payment was simple, made through an online link.
The fitter arrived as arranged and completed the job to an excellent standard. The carpet is of great quality and looks superb.
My only gripe would be that the waste carpet was not removed, although it was bagged up.

Everyone was lovely and helpful from the start. Steph who came to measure and the carpet fitters themselves fast and efficient no issues.

I'm writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the installation of my newly fitted 12mm Laminate flooring, which was recently completed by one of your fitters. While I'm very happy with the quality and appearance of the laminate flooring product itself, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the subfloor preparation and the overall standard of the fitting. The original subfloor in my property consists of old, black thermoplastic tiles (asbestos-type) glued to a concrete base. Over the years, a few of these tiles had cracked and broken away, leaving distinct hollows and missing gaps across the lounge/hallway. Your fitter laid the blue plastic combination underlay, and the 12mm Laminate directly over these damaged sections without filling or smoothing the subfloor first. As a result, when walking across certain parts of the lounge and the doorways to the lounge and bedroom, the flooring makes a distinct "clicking" noise under my weight. There are currently 2 to 3 specific spots predominantly around the threshold bars where this vertical movement and clicking occur consistently. Laminate is a floating floor, that relies entirely on stable subfloor for structural support. Leaving hollow voids beneath the planks means the 4V click-lock joints are under constant, localised stress every time they are stepped on. Over time, this vertical deflection will cause the internal tongue-and-groove joints to crack, split, and permanently gap, completely ruining the floor. While I understand that asbestos-type tiles can't be sanded or aggressively disturbed due to health and safety regulations, the gaps left by the missing tiles absolutely should've been stabilised and filled with a quick-hardening repair mortar or smoothing compound prior to laying the underlay. Failing to do so constitutes poor workmanship. As the installation was arranged and guaranteed by Lazy Carpets, I expect this issue to be rectified under my fitting warranty. I require a senior fitter, or inspector to visit my property to examine the clicking areas. Where the floor is bridging over missing tiles, I expect these voids to be properly supported either by lifting the local threshold sections to patch the subfloor or by using a professional subfloor void-injection resin to fill the hollows beneath the underlay and stop the flexing permanently. I hope someone can take this matter further, I look forward to your prompt response to resolve this.

Excellent service .

Myself and partner recently bought our first home and it was pretty overwhelming booking and working with a number of trades people but genuinely, Steph, Gary & the team at Lazy Carpets were a breeze.

Steph came round, had a brew, measured the space, showed us samples and chatted through options and ways to save on cost. We were notified when the carpet was in stock and then Lazy Carpets were really flexible as we were waiting on our painters and decorators prior to getting the carpet fitted.

They made it feel like it was no hassle at all and we love the results, I'd very much recommend!

Ian came to measure up, he was efficient and very helpful. Ian quoted for two rooms, we ended up getting all the bedrooms done as the price was that great!
On the day of fitting, I was kept up to date with ETA. The guy came and worked solid for 5 or so hours. What a difference! The flooring felt great under my feet, we had laminate flooring throughout. It looks fantastic, and I still can't believe the price for three rooms, labour and underlay.

I will be using Lazy carpets again.
