Professional, clear instructions and good value.

Solvent company closure can appear to be a complicated process to comply with the law, however I found this was made straightforward due to the friendly and helpful support from a senior consultant at SFP, Grace Burton. Therefore, I can make a strong recommendation to others who need this service.

Grace Burton and Maisie Jones were both fantastic to deal with. They kept me updated through out the process, dealt with any of my queries really promptly and the first distribution was made within their stated timescales. Very pleased with this service.

It has been 2 years my company has been going through liquidation (MVL) with SFP. Since it started I have dealt with four different people handling the case I am on the 5th person now. I find the whole process very disorganised.

My liquidation should be so very straightforward only needs a refund from HMRC. When it comes to liquidations mine should have been a money for nothing for SPF . But some how they have managed to make a mess . I gave them a year in anticipation of delays from HMRC .
But after a year of start of the MVL process when I contacted them for an update, the mess with in SFP unravels, they had not even bothered to respond to HMRC correspondence. I doubt if anyone was even was looking into the liquidation.

HMRC had written to me directly the refund had been issued 2 months ago . But SPF claim they have not received any funds and every time I contact SFP, I have to explain to them the current state of things . They still hold 10% of my company funds.

I regret the day when my account ICS had convinced me to use SFP for MVL despite my gut instinct was to not to use SPF after my initial contact with the SFP agent .

If I could give them less than one star I would.

My honest opinion, if you value your time. Avoid SFP.

Like a lot of contractors when IR35 was introduced the need to have a company disappeared. SFP guided me through the MVL process, explaining the steps as we went and keeping me informed of progress. It was a seamless process that I am grateful was handled by a professional and friendly orgainsation.

SFP have been invaluable and very efficient across the process with excellent communication.

Simple process, lots of people involved, and HMRC is a black-box with no-one knowing what they do.
SFP made the process fairly easy, giving pre-completed documents and lots of guidance. What was a bit challenging was working with 4 separate people, some of whom were incredibly challenging to get hold of, or only responding out of working hours. Also they sometimes went astray of their own process, or indicated what the steps were that would be followed, only to indicate that more steps had been added later on. And despite everything they said, they neglected to mention at any point that getting money out of HMRC would take months. But I suppose I should have known that. Felt a bit early to send out a trustpilot review when we only appear to be 50% through the process.

Grace did a great job in making a complex process possible and straightforward. Very patient and capable in answering my queries.
