House Managing at its best
My parents lived at the Hampton Place Mc Carthy Stone Southampton SO15 5SB The house manager Maxine was exceptional she would always be available for any issues, efficient in her duties and felt like a friend we could trust. She went above and beyond with providing extra activities and always tried to accommodate for every need. The guest suite was always in immaculate condition for our family and friends and we would reccomended her as one of Mc Carthy Stone's best assets.

I have arranged to rent at Homestead Place. Everyone at McCarthy & Stone has been very helpful, especially Sam Grimbleby. Sam has been so helpful, friendly and efficient in helping in the process to move in. Sam definitely puts the wellbeing and happiness of the residents as her top priority and this is reflected by the positive way the other residents comment about her. Always being helpful and pragmatic in resolving any issues that arise.

Keeping Mum Independent at Hailes Green Haddington. Thanks Sarah
We couldn’t recommend Hailes Green highly enough, and in particular Sarah, the House Manager.
Since Mum moved to Hailes Green, she has really thrived. It gives her the independence she values while giving us, as her family, the reassurance and peace of mind that she is safe, supported and not alone.
Sarah is always on hand to check in on Mum and is incredibly approachable and caring. Knowing that there is someone nearby who knows Mum and will notice if she needs a little extra support means so much to us.
The cord alarm system and the company of the other residents also give us huge peace of mind. Mum has a lovely sense of community around her, with lots of events, activities and outings, and it has been wonderful to see her enjoying life and becoming part of that community.
When Mum recently needed surgery, we were able to book the guest suite at Hailes Green so that we could stay close by and be available to her 24/7 while she recovered. Having that option made an incredibly stressful time much easier and meant we could support Mum without taking away her independence.
For us, Hailes Green offers the perfect balance — Mum can live independently and enjoy her own life, while we know she is surrounded by people, support and a caring community.
We are so grateful to Sarah for the reassurance she gives our family. Most importantly, we feel that we can trust that Mum is safe, happy, independent and cared for. ❤️

Fabulous weekend stay at Pavilion…
Fabulous weekend stay at Pavilion Court. The room is huge with lovely decor and facilities are great. Beds really comfy, TV if you get bored. Lovely aspect looking out in to garden. The compendium told me lots about the area and I fell in love with Felixstowe. Lovely sea front walks. The town has lots of independent shops. So lovely to see a greengrocer and ironmongers, two record shops and a Wimpy! (Which was lovely - real trip down memory lane). Plenty of really good places to eat and drink and everyone was so friendly. Only downside is to catch the WiFi you need to crouch by the door and phone signal you need to be by the window. Thank you for such a lovely stay. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I came here 2.5 years ago, his comment on arrival was it looks like an hotel, so we settled in immediately. He died aged 95 about one year and four months later. Since then I have been quite happy with the service, the staff are very helpful.

House Move
We would like to say a huge thank you to Jake for the incredible support, kindness and dedication he showed us to our move into her new McCarthy & Stone apartment in Stratford upon Avon.
From the very beginning, Jake went above and beyond to make what was a very emotional and stressful process feel manageable. He genuinely cared about making sure we were happy and comfortable with our decision. He even arranged for us to come back so we could get a better understanding of life in a McCarthy & Stone community before making the move, which meant so much to us.
Jake also worked tirelessly behind the scenes, keeping the pressure on to ensure all the paperwork was completed in time so we could move exactly when we wanted to. His persistence, communication and determination made all the difference and helped everything come together when it mattered most.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. His warmth, compassion and professionalism gave us confidence and reassurance every step of the way during what could have been an overwhelming experience.
We truly can’t thank Jake enough for everything he did. He is an absolute credit to McCarthy & Stone, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone considering a move I have already made friends with some very nice mature resident's. I cannot speak too highly of the sympathetic house manager Fiona, Who has been very good giving us lots of advice and help in the totally new environment that we find ourselves in. I will in henceforth have no hesitation in seeking the help of this good lady.

I received an unexpected phone call …
I received an unexpected phone call this morning and the caller was referring to the slow speed of my broadband of which I had no knowledge, and no previous complaint. I suspected it may be some sort of scam. I managed to signal to Kate who came to my assistance instantly. After hearing what he had to say Kate suggested that my daughter could phone my supplier to clarify the matter and politely terminated the call.

My mum moved into Hilltree Court
My mum moved into Hilltree Court, Giffnock, just over a year ago and has subsequently experienced a quick decline in her physical health and symptoms of dementia. The staff at Hilltree Court have been exceptional in proving care in a needs led, caring and supportive manner throughout. I have yet to meet a member of staff who is not kind, gentle, caring and professional in the care they provide to my mum. The much added bonus is the guest suite provided for visiting family. To Claire, Madge and all the crew, you are the best. I couldn’t wish for my mum to be anywhere but Hilltree Court. Thank you all..

Miller Place, Bedford
I moved into Miller Place 4 months ago and am loving retirement living with McCarthy & Stone. Aimee our house manager is amazing. Always ensuring she gets answers for any queries. As residents, we are kept updated on matters that concern us. The other residents have made me feel extremely welcome and I love the fact that you can be involved in the community but still have your own space in your own apartment. I keep waiting for the feeling that I’m on holiday to wear off. Location is excellent with everything you need less than 5 mins walk (Drs, Chemist, Post Office, fish and chip shop, Italian deli and cafe, butchers, hairdressers and co-op). We also have an amazing cake shop 10 mins walk away

Hilltree Court
My mum has lived in Hilltree Court for over a year now and quite frankly the peace of mind we have now is unquantifiable, knowing how well she is looked after. There is such a lovely atmosphere with both staff and residents alike. The manager Claire, with Madge & the rest of the staff really care & go the extra mile to ensure all the residents are taken care of & included. All the common areas are spotless & the quality of the food in the restaurant is fabulous. Highly recommend

Roman Court Middlewich
Roman Court Middlewich is a a very friendly and warm development. The residents are super friendly and the development is run by a very organised Manager. Every time I visit I am so impressed by the quality of the surroundings and the events and activities that are available to residents.
