Firstly I must commend a good customer service rendered towards me by Mercedes Kouzoukis. She made herself available for all my enquiries and was very supportive throughout the contract. Having had other options with cheaper fee, she was still able to convince me to go through the deal.

Safi was on time, formal and proper throughout the entire viewing even if I myself was a bit too early. The property was stunning and Safiyah's knowledge of legislation and the properties features were a welcomed relief when searching for a new home.

Estate Agents prioritise profit over professionalism so lost a sale.

I had an accepted offer on a property, but the agent refused to issue the memorandum of sale unless I paid £80 for ID checks via their third-party provider, Lifetime Legal—despite these checks typically being free elsewhere. I declined due to past negative experiences with Lifetime Legal, including unwanted subscriptions, and offered alternative ID/AML verification methods, which the branch manager rejected. A simple manual check would have sufficed, but they prioritised profit over professionalism. I’ve raised a complaint with Romans, the parent company, though this seems to be a common practice and will take it further to the ombudsman. I hope such charges are banned soon, like renter fees were. Seek estate agents who don’t charge for this service

I had an excellent experience with Zoe Pedersen from the very beginning, she was very professional, responsive, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. She made what can often be a stressful situation smooth and straightforward.

Was worried about finding a suitable apartment in Cardiff, but the folks at Moginie James made it a breeze. Zoe was extremely helpful and very proactive and prompt in her communication, specially during the referencing process. I would highly reccomend them.

I would advise avoiding them as a tenant if you can. During our tenancy the communication from them was pretty poor. Every agent we spoke to about repairs or property check ins etc, would give different answers or not know what was happening at all.

Then at the end of our tenancy, after being excellent tenants with no issues, they tried to claim over £900 deposit to "repair damages". They never provided us with a full breakdown of these costs despite multiple requests. Thank god for the deposit protection scheme and independent adjudicators!

If you are renting through them, I would highly recommend you make sure to take thorough photos when you start and end the tenancy, as well as getting all communication from them in writing.

Our experience of booking and arranging a viewing with Naomi was really good, she called us back to book in a viewing as promised, we received information via email and text and she was really lovely when we met her. She allowed us to walk around the property at our own leisure which was helpful. You’d be surprised how many lettings agents never call back, and don’t email when they say they will.

I have been trying to move for over a month now, with many applications sent out for a place to rent. Often, there was no response from many agencies. Moginie James always got back to me. Scheduled viewing was communicated promptly. On the day of viewing, Naomi was brilliant, was on time, cordial, friendly and responded expertly to my questions. Equally, communication after the viewing was superb.

Mercedes was so helpful and lovely. She answered all our questions and informed us of things we didn't even think to ask.
