I'm so glad I asked for a survey to be done. Pinnacle were excellent.
Having sold quite some time ago, we finally found what we thought was our perfect next house. We decided to instruct a survey because we had picked up a few things whilst viewing the house that we wanted reassurance about, and also to sense check potential repair costs etc. We had a surveyor called Ed I think who called us after doing his work to meticulously and nicely step through everything he had found. This was balanced, as he knew we wanted to buy this house. However there was a lot more wrong with it, including some things that i would say hadn't been fully disclosed, and so we pulled out. Annoying, but we are so grateful to Pinnacle for how thorough and nice they have been, and would certainly recommend them, and will use them again on our next attempt whenever that is. Thank you.

Excellent - very practical
Excellent - I normally wouldn't write in for good service but this warrants it. Very professional, affordable and practical. Dealing with a deceased estate where some of the deadlines changed, Pinnacle were accommodating on providing updates on this. I would very much recommend and will use again.

I would not recommend this service
I would not recommend this service. A surveyor attended the property last Friday and, during the visit, indicated that the valuation aligned with our expectations. However, upon receiving the report, we were astonished to find the property valued at £0.
The report contains several statements that are simply inaccurate. For instance, it claims the kitchen renovations are incomplete, despite the kitchen being newly installed, fully fitted, and finished to a high standard.
These are not minor oversights but significant misrepresentations that call into question the reliability and professionalism of the survey. On this basis, I would strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before engaging this service.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the report and valuation. From your comments I believe this may have been a valuation for loan security/mortgage purposes. If this is the case, we are unfortunately unable to discuss the valuation in any detail as our client is the lender.
However, we are happy to consider appeals, so I would recommend discussing this with the proposed lender or your mortgage broker.

Good experience with Valuation experience
I was bit nervous after reading previous reviews but still went ahead with Pinnacle and my experience was really great. The appointment was quick and review was thorough. The surveyor has visited on time and he checked all required documents and provided valuation report next day.
