Powerbikes Reviews

Excellent service prompt delivery hassle free very happy with my purchase

I ordered a 250w/1000w kit and it arrives in just 4days which was very fast but unfortunately my LCD monitor wasn't in the box. when I called a lovely lady answers ,apologized and without delay she sent my monitor by next day courier so by day 5 I was out riding on my newly converted ebike even though it said up to 2 weeks for shipping. All in all I am very pleased with my experience with them

Got to say that having now bought from powerbikes, I will make a point of doing so again.
I have converted my hybrid mountain bike to 250 watt front wheel drive with an 11ah battery. great deal for the money and wow, its amazing to ride (pedal assist is a must though) done 20 miles so far and the battery is still showing full.
Nothing is too much trouble for powerbikes, and they even answer emails when most folk are relaxing at home or similar passtime.
It seems to me that you ring them with an issue or problem, they will work it out for you double quick. .. great customer service and quality all round .. I cant recommend them enough.

Try my bike-you will like it!
Thank you powerbikes of Whitehaven for helpful advice and a great product. I have fitted a front wheel conversion to my Ridgeback Meteor hybrid bike with great results. In low power, I can now ride easily up hills I used to walk up pushing, and on the first charge have only used half the charge in the first 30 miles with a 15AHr battery. Should I have done this earlier? Maybe not the time was just right now. Would I recommend to others? Yes, try my bike, You will like it!

My wife agreed to have her 3 yr old Dawes sit up and beg bike converted to electric as she finds the riding position on this bike very comfortable. I ordered a 26'' Cyclotricity conversion kit with pannier battery which arrived very quickly. Unfortunately even though my tyres were 26x 1 3/8 my wheel was about 1 1/2 inches larger than the motorised wheel in the kit. I contacted Richard at Powerbikes, sent some pictures of the 2 wheels next to each other to show the difference and he said he would look into it. It transpired that my wheel was actually a 27.5 inch wheel fitted with a 26'' tyre. I contacted Richard again and he didn't hesitate to offer to arrange collection of the kit and suggested I try the Panda 27.5 inch front wheel conversion kit. This arrived 2 days later with some extra bits from Richard and worked perfectly. I was very pleased with the quality and performance of the kit as was my wife. Richards experience, knowledge and exceptional good will would definitely make me recommend Powerbikes and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I have recently purchased my first ever electric bike from Powerbikes after thinking about it for some time. I had always enjoyed cycling but it was getting more and more difficult as i was getting older. I didn't know where to start looking, but after Powerbikes, Whitehaven was recommended to me, it was a very simple process. Richard made it very simple for me to try assisted cycling and finally choose a cycle that I am very impressed with. We will certainly be recommending him to others

Great service from Richard and Powerbikes. Super product. Great after sales to solve minor installation issue.

Very good and very helpful in all the dealing with them. Courier didn't come the day it was supposed to. They help me all the way and the bike is amazing. Would recommend them anytime.

we own a bike holiday company - Richard is a top man and full of energy. He found the right product for our needs and the right price. Total hero.

From the onset I had a good feeling about this firm. The website was so easy to understand. All my Email questions were answered with an almost immediate response by phone. I ordered a conversion kit right away, it arrived within days & the service I have received since has been friendly, positive & most helpful.
Thank you Power bikes

Excellent service and attention to detail

Fantastic company to deal with, even with me changing my many times. They are genuine honest people and make sure you are happy with your purchase.
Cant recommend highly enough

Excellent service, very knowledgeable, explains things about the bikes, in away you can understand.

The conversion kit I bought was easily fitted and performs far better than I expected. I live on a 600 feet high hill in the Lake District. With the power bike I can go down to the town at sea level and back for shopping within a half an hour. A full charge costs only 8 pence and that does about six trips to town and back. Bloody fantastic.

very good service from Powerbikes , Kudos Mistral is an excellent bike providing as much power as required to get you up any hill. Makes cycling as easy you want or turn the power off and ride like a normal bike.

Knowledgeable enthusiastic service with a smile

Couldn't rate Powerbikes highly enough - I even received a curtesy call to check everything was OK with order!

Many thanks :)

Richard took the time to take all my details on the phone for my order. Next time i call him, he tells me i'm better off giving my biz to somebody else. Words like that only come from trustworthy sources! :)
All in all, a great pleasure to do business with Powerbikes. Wouldn't hestitate a sec. to recommend them.

Excellent service Richard at Whitehaven was very helpful, I bought a front wheel conversion kit and fitted it without any problem (just had to file out the dropouts by 1mm as instructed), the kit worked first time without any further adjustments I would recommend this company to anyone.
