They kept me informed the whole way through. Unlike being on the nhs waiting list where I was only told the wait would be years and not to contact them again. I was given regular updates and the appointment came through Psicon quickly. On the day of the assessment I found the clinician to be knowledgeable and very through. The diagnosis was given at the end of the appointment and a clear process was given to access medication. So far Im really happy with the service.

Assessment was denied based on school report - despite the fact that it is widely known girls mask at school. Thankfully my daughter had been seen by a paediatrician who wrote 4 words - please assess for autism. I appealed based on that letter and my daughter was assessed and just got her diagnosis of ASD. No outward signs at school due to high masking. I wonder how many other children have been denied an assessment with so much weighting given to the school view? It is obvious the school had more weighting than the family view, and without seeing a dietician for an unrelated issue (allergy) she would never have been tested.

Clinician struggled to stay away during appointment, consistently yawning. He then said things such as ‘so she thinks in black and white’ and I had to correct him several times. Whilst my daughter may have autism, my confidence in this assessment is pretty much none due to the provider trying to twist my words to fit a diagnostic criteria. I’m unsure if she does or does not have ASD despite the diagnosis due to how the ‘interview’ was conducted

It was from 9 months wait but they contacted me roughly 8 month mark and I was so pleased and felt listened to highly recommend the staff on first appointment was very friendly and supportive the service has been amazing, thank you so much

When we were told about getting a diagnosis of autism for our son we thought it would take years as been told so many children are waiting for the help they need. But with psicon everything was very quick. We filled our forms out in the January 2026, school February 2026 we then had his first assessment in June and diagnosis late July.
What I loved most was the emails once a month to let us know, they knew we were still waiting and links to help in the mean time.
We had such a good experience with Psicon and I will certainly be recommending them to anyone needing a diagnosis in the future.

We have used Psicon previously, but I can honestly say that this was by far the best experience we've had. From start to finish, the assessor was kind, friendly, approachable and incredibly informative. She immediately put both our daughter and us at ease, creating a relaxed and supportive environment throughout the assessment.

She was absolutely wonderful with our daughter, taking the time to engage with her in a way that made her feel comfortable and understood. It was clear that she genuinely cared and was committed to ensuring our daughter felt heard.

As parents, we left the assessment feeling listened to, validated and reassured. The assessor explained everything clearly, answered our questions with patience, and made what can often feel like an overwhelming process a genuinely positive experience.

Despite being told originally, of the potential waiting list, we didn't have to wait too long at all!
Process was well explained and relatively straight forward.
Final diagnosis was within a four week period following assessment. This was explained well with back up information provided.
The paperwork/forms that have to be provided by both school and parents, may be intense, but evidence needs to be provided to initiate such assessments.
On the whole everyone involved in our journey was friendly and approachable.

I had a great experience with Psicon from start to finish. The clinicians were friendly, professional and really listened to me during both my ADHD and autism assessments. We had a brilliant experience with Psicon for our son, navigating his ADHD assessment privately and his ASD assessment through Right to Choose. While going through different pathways can sometimes feel complicated, the team made everything as seamless as possible.

Above all, the clinicians who carried out both assessments were simply wonderful—the kindest, loveliest professionals who immediately put our son at ease. They were thorough, deeply understanding, and compassionate throughout. We are so grateful for the high standard of care and support he received. Highly recommended!

The communication was fantastic, the service was really straightforward and the care was wonderful. After dealing with the Virgin care at first, Psicon was such a totally different experience, better communication, better facilities and we felt listened to and valued. I can’t praise them enough.

My son was on the NHS waiting list for over 7 years! Pushed back by covid at first then pushed back again as they said there waiting list was two to three years behind because of all the appointments they couldn't do in lock down I contacted my sons gp who referred him to here from start to finish (diagnosed) was only 3 months!! Wish I knew about this service sooner I would highly recommend!!

The process was seamless and although there was a wait time it was a lot quicker than expected.
I can’t fault their service.

Psicon have been brilliant and quick with diagnosis appointment. Staff always friendly and the lady that dod the assessment was lovely made ny daughter and myself feel comfortable and my daughter said how lovely she was (Rakel) highly recommend both Psicon and Rakel 😊

I was kept up to date with progress and they handled the assessment fairly quickly.

I think the whole experience would probably get a 4 star, but after having a different clinician for each review i've finally been given a single clinician.
The extra star is based on my most recent online meeting. Krystal was fantastic and talked me through some of the parts I wasn't too sure on and her energy in general made me leave the meeting feeling great.
