I've been using RCIB for a number of years. I get the same lady each time and the process is simple and quick and I always get a good deal. It saves me loads of time and effort.

Easy and quick to set up car insurance

Unfortunately having to rewrite my review due to the stressful and unrelenting issues I’ve had
I’ve now have my insurance policy threatened to be cancelled even though I have no outstanding charges and have this confirmed twice in writing
I’m honestly so tired of speaking to RCIB customer service about all of these issues and charges I would honestly rather pick any other insurance broker unless you want a regular part of your week to be taken up with constant back and forth- I’ve had this policy for a month and have never had these kind of issues before

I was transferred from comparison website. The form was laregly completed and I was able to increase the scope of breakdown cover. The process took a couple of minutes

Ordered Breakdown cover with them through their subcompany Autonational. I signed up, and then realised I didn't need the breakdown cover as my car insurance already has it, so I tried cancelling within an hour... And they said they won't give me a refund due to cancellation fees. I signed up at midnight and tried cancelling before 1am, so there were no expenses incurred on their side. The insurance wasn't even meant to start for another 19 days. So I have to pay for the full year of cover... Can't get a refund... And I don't need it. Scam artists. I'm going to put in a formal complaint to the FCA because there is meant to be a 14 day cooling off period and any fees need to be relative to the amount paid... They can't be the full amount of the insurance.

They're now spending more admin time on dealing with my complaint than they would have just refunding the £14.43. If they don't refund it (it's with their complaints team now) I'm going to forward it on to the Financial Ombudsman Service - which will end up costing them around £680. It makes absolutely no sense that they'd rather fight me for £14.43 than refund me, even though the policy didn't start, and i tried to cancel within an hour.

You've got to know your company is a scam when that's part of your business model. Absolute shambles.

Good and fast service

Tammy is honest,helpful professional and efficient and works very hard to source quotationsfor me.

Her attitudinal response to myself never fails to include a concern for my wellbeing even if the theme of our discourse concerns the bricks and mortar around as Home insurance is the particular product I annually invest in.

Her willingness to provide contact details ensuring ease of access should I need to refer any query to her is particularly helpful in this period of transition and migration of my old phone number to SkY contract.

When Tammy promises she can cover my insurance for buildings and contents, I am relieved of worry regarding the unforeseen.
