Nothing being delivered despite ordering twice. Customer service all nice and sunny but company obviously doesn’t work as they’ve no idea where the things you order are. Did next day delivery on both orders. 7 days in still jot here.

You've left no details we could use to identify you or your orders, although you've obviously been in touch with us - please do let us know what else we can do to help.
Sadly both couriers we use (DPD and Evri) are struggling with the high parcel volumes at present and we are dealing with a number of queries identical to yours. It's a little outside our control but we're helping our customers in any way we can, including sending out replacement orders if a parcel appears to be lost or stuck in the system somewhere.

Rowen & Wren: Small Team, Real Heart – They Get It Right in the End
Customer service only matters when things go wrong, and with Rowen & Wren, they did—twice.
Order 1 (£200+): Evri. Never arrived. No updates of any sense—just confusion.
Order 2 (£200+): DPD (“next-day premium”). Arrived late in a muddy, foot-printed paper envelope, missing the £128 Bilton Double Towel Rail and one of six Grove S Hooks (£12/set of three).
These aren’t just courier issues—Rowen & Wren chose Evri, picked DPD, and packed the order. The responsibility is theirs and they must take the heat!
I was furious—emails sharp enough to cut glass. Yet they handled an understandably hostile and frustrated buyer with calm professionalism.
No defensiveness, no lectures—just listening, owning the mistakes, and fixing them.
How they turned it around:
Lost order? Resent complete via DPD—arrived next day.
Missing items? Rushed out again via DPD—arrived perfect within 48 hours.
No excuses. Just results.
The products are beautiful: refined matt nickel, cloth bags, paper envelopes—like receiving a gift.
The Bilton range is named after Alex Bilton, who works there—keeping it in the family, a unique touch that shows real heart.
One suggestion: Drop the “next-day” promise unless you can truly guarantee it. It sets you up to fail. I don’t buy for speed—a reliable 2–3 day service with proper tracking is plenty. Focus on dependability, not deadlines.
Verdict: A growing small business with stunning products and genuine care. They stumble, but they stand up, take the heat, and make it right. In the end, everyone’s a winner.

Bought dining chairs earlier this year
Bought dining chairs earlier this year. Not the best quality. Given the price. But we had 6. And need 4 more. So to keep a matching set. Went online to order. And stuff me. They’ve gone up £80!!!!! Per chair!!!!!!! A joke. Will not place order purely based on principle.

We don't want to increase our prices any more than absolutely necessary but our costs (from suppliers, shipping costs, materials costs) go up slowly but surely and at some point the inevitable point is reached where, if we want to continue being a viable business, our prices have to rise.
I believe our customer service team were in touch with you and asked for your order information so we could see what you had purchased and when, as we were unable to locate any previous orders within our system, and so we could see if there was a solution we could reach that would have been acceptable. I understand you declined to pass this on and we were left with little further we could do. We genuinely would have liked to resolve this, and I'm sorry we were unable to.

Great in every way except customer service.
the products are good quality, the advertising is slick and elegant, the packaging is excellent, however, customer services when something goes wrong is woeful. The phone does not seem to be answered, e-mails are replied to in a slow and automated manner which is unhelpful. I will not buy form them again, which is a shame as I have bought many items for the house from them over the years.

We're a small team when it comes down to it - we respond to enquiries as quickly as we can but rest assured that behind every email is an actual person - we don't have any automated replies. We also have only two phone lines so should there be more than two calls at any one time (which isn't infrequent) a call must inevitably go unanswered, but we will always return a call if a voicemail is left for us.
Our apologies that you feel we fell far below expectations on this occasion; we take it very personally when a customer is let down and do sincerely hope that you will return to us at some time in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cutlery set, oh my word! I bought the 42 piece set and the quality is excellent. It's a proper old English style, unpolished, and is a really good weight. So well designed, it looks fantastic. I didn't really need new cutlery, although mine is 30 years old, but this set won my heart, and I'm so pleased with it. It feels lovely in your hand and so tactile to use. It arrived really well packaged and in good time too. I'm so, so happy.

Not value for high prices
Quality is not what hoped for. Smart oak tray - but is screwed in with large visible screws from underneath and not the fine piece I was expecting. Brass coasters have spoiled very quickly.

Purchased two brass table lamps
Purchased two brass table lamps. The initial two that were sent were faulty with the base plate falling off when lifted out of the box. Rather than ask me if I wanted a refund or replacement they sent me just 1 replacement assuring me that the issue I had was a one off. When the replacement arrived the base plate was hanging off before I even took it out of the box. Very poor quality product and not impressed by customer service.
