This company is horrible. I ordered cabinets a few months ago. At the time I called in to ask about credit limit. They told me to order them and if it goes through I was approved for enough. Order went through now two months later they reported half that credit limit to credit bureaus and because that put me over the limit it dropped my score almost 30 points after I've made two payments on time. When I called I asked why the sale wasn't declined if I wasn't approved for enough of a credit limit and the representative laughed. I'll pay it off and cancel. Do not order from this company. I'll be reporting them further.

I have been with Seventh Avenue for about 6 months now and I pay way over the amount of my payment that is due.I am always on time and they even gave me a 1500 dollar credit increase just a week ago.Soon as I tried to use it they suspended my account for 30 days.One representative said it was because I was ordering from the affiliated companies and another representative said it was because of security reasons.Then two others said something totally different.I have no idea what that has to do with me ordering anything from their catalog when I pay on all my accounts on time.When I do order my items are less than $250 and the other companies did not have a problem with me ordering anything from them.Seventh Avenues customer service workers were so rude and nasty.They left me on hold never came back.They ignored me when I was talking and they all gave me different reasons to why my account was suspended.I am paying this account off and closing this account.This is the worst company and customer service I have ever seen!

I wish there was a no star option. I’ve had an account with seventh Ave and Monroe and main for well over a year. I recently got married and changed my last name and both seventh Avenue and Monroe and main attached my account to someone else’s with credit issue and shut my account credit limit off. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well. Merry Christmas

I ordered a table, I was so happy. I love my new dinning room set and the payments are great for someone on SS. I am in the process of getting a new Microwave Cart. They gave me a chance and my credit score is getting better everyday. Thank you Seventh Ave. To me its worth it, and I will continue to work with them.

I have ordered many items through 7th Avenue. No regrets! Quality and unique items! I make my monthly payment and have it reported as good credit to my credit report!! All in all a win-win situation!

The product I bought was an Over the sink oak brown shelf. Item Number #AARY5 , PLN# 6859544 PO#7PE387650 the top shelf Letter A had four holes missing to mount the left section to the rest of the unit. I copied the hole positions from the right side to the left side and had to drill my own holes in order to mount the whole thing together. The product is nicely made but the fabrication of these products should be assembled at the plant, and the problem should be fixed before it leaves the production floor!!! I should be compensated for the inconvenience of fixing a defaulted product!!!

Worst company ever! I have a credit limit of $250. My first order was $146 total tax and all I have been paying my order off over the last 8 statements. I had a $17.50 balance I just paid off today leaving my account with $0 balance. I tried to place an order for a total of $156 today and they are wanting 33% of a down payment. Why the hell have a credit limit if need to put a down payment down? Makes absolutely no sense. Paid my account to $0 cancelled the order and screw their business.

I have ordered alot of things from seventh avenue and i have not had any problems with my items. The delivery is quick and the customer service is great. Everything i ordered was great quality

i have been with seventh avenue for 4 years never had an issue paid my balance off ii full which i feel good about and this account will be closed

Don't understand why so many Negative Reviews here...... Other than CUSTOMERS THEMSELVES, CAN BE RUDE!!!!..... Seventh Avenue has good Quality Products and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!.... I've been a Customer for several years now and never had a problem that couldn't be fixed. Although Shipping is a little Pricey, you can find UNIQUE Products with the ease and convenience of the Credit Payment Plan. I've made MAJOR PURCHASES, along with smaller ones, here, and altho there were a few problems, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC!!! My EXTRA LARGE FIREPLACE stopped working soon after I received it several years ago, and I was sent a REPLACEMENT INSERT for FREE Without having to return the Defective one, and the Replacement is still working today!!! Also my WASHING MACHINE was severely Dented and, IMMEDIATELY, a Replacement was sent out with a Return Label and FREE PICKUP !!! Since the Replacement Washing Machine was also Dented, but not as bad as the first, I was offered either another Replacement, or a GENEROUS DISCOUNT, and after making sure it functioned properly, I chose and received the GENEROUS DISCOUNT!!! My Livingroom is full of BEAUTIFUL Lighting and Wall Decor from here and it is SPECTACULAR! This is a place to find UNIQUE Products that you can't find anywhere else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Seventh Avenue and I APPRECIATE the Credit, the Unique Products, and the FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM!!!

I had an account with them and it took many months and phone calls to get them to close my account which was paid in full for several months.

I wish i had seen these reviews. Obviously they dont care. I will never buy from them again. 1st priduct didnt match the color in cataloug.i cencelled before they ahipped but they shipped anyway and had to go to trouble to send back.
2nd item came but it aas the pandemic and i got laid off and tried to get them to not give me a late charge. I paid the bill today but tjey tacked on 3 late charges and turned me over to collections for a set of sheets i bought in late february. Lastly tried to contact them 2 times .the 2 people i got barely spoke english and connection was poor. Terrible company will never use them again

I order through seventh ave and Montgomery ward which is apparently the same company along with Swiss Colony I disputed a charge that Swiss colony states I made with them and since I did that they took away my credit with seventh ave and Montgomery ward. I have never missed a single payment with either of those. And if I would’ve ordered something through Swiss colony I would have never missed a payment with them either. That’s OK if they do not want my business I will shop elsewhere just terrible for a customer who always pays on time.

I absolutely love seventh Avenue I've gotten many things from outside picnic table it was awesome loved it to shoes loved them very comfy also have gotten a few decor items for my house like a family plaque hanging only wall with out last name on it. I'd give more than 5 stars if available!

Package is lost by Fedex. I keep getting excuses and they refuse to replace. Horrible company will never use again.

They didn't ship our order, cancelled it, didn't contact us, when we called they wouldn't explain why. gave us the run around. Very unprofessional, AVOID!!! :(

Worst company ever! Total scam. No matter how early monthly payments are made to them, they send out late notices constantly and call repeatedly claiming monies are owed. Don't waste your money or time. It's not worth it.

This company is Very Unethical. When I originally ordered my product during shipping I had to call FedEx because Seventh Ave. customer service said "they have no way to track a package." Then when I received the product the product was of poor quality and damaged. I called customer service to return and get a refund and could not believe what I was hearing. I requested a refund and told the customer service rep the product was damaged and of poor quality. The customer service rep then said I would be responsible for paying the shipping. After an argument of 10 minutes and the rep acknowledging I should not have to pay for shipping on a damaged product we moved on to the taxes on the product. The customer service rep then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay the taxes on the product. I told the rep why would I pay taxes on a returned item. After a long argument and a conference with a manager they agreed a customer should not pay taxes on a returned item. Unbelievable. Now to return the item the customer service rep said they had to mail out the return labels and could not email the labels. Stay Away from this company!

I've been a seventh Avenue customer since 2012 and have always paid my account off completely or I've at least made the payments on time...after i ran into financial difficulties over the last few months,seventh avenue has reported my account as late to transunion....What I'm not happy about is the fact that they haven't reported any of my years of outstanding payment history,but they report my recent negative payment history.....To sum it up,I'll suggest a person pass up on this buy now pay later outlet known as seventh avenue..they are all risk and no reward because they dont even report your positive payment history,but quickly report your missed payments..

I have been a loyal customer for years and these people are despicable. After I closed my shop I m trying to pay off 15,000 in debt left from that. So far iv paid 5,000 off o had to unroll credit counseling. These people seventh Avenue report to the credit bureau that I am 120 days late dropped my score 10 points after they excepted an agreement from american financial. There are people out there that dont pay at all but they want to stab me in the back report a lie that I'm 120 days past due. When I called them to ask them to correct it they tell me there reporting I'm in credit counseling but dont lie say I'm not paid in 120 days. BAD BUSINESS,!!!!!
