Switch process is now underway and seems to be going smoothly. Seem to have lost a couple of days from the original time estimate from the new supplier but otherwise ok.

Not very impressive service
Not very impressive service I had to get in touch with British Gas They didn't know I needed a Smart meter THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT as both my Husband and I are very disabled and can't go outside and bend down into a cupboard I STRESS THIS TO THE PERSON WHO WAS SWITCHING ME if there's no smart meter I can't go with this company Obviously I waisted my time As a OAP of 77yrs this is very poor service and quite stressful WOULDN'T RECOMMEND YOU and will never use you again

Thank you for getting in touch. British Gas will not automatically know that you require a smart meter, you may need to ask for this to be installed. British Gas should be able to sort this for your directly on 0333 202 9802.

I found the site confusing and not easy to follow. I did set a switch in motion only to discover the supplier had no information on the date my current supply ended and I had to cancel the switch process.

Totally dissatisfied
Persistent phone calls was told I could be on a cheaper tariff so I agreed to change when I got home checked my deal which was cheaper so I was misled
