Customer service was amazing!!!

Customer service was amazing. After traveling with my cousin, I decided to order a suitcase from Solgaard. I received my item not even a week later. However, I realized that I ordered the wrong size; ordered large and meant to get a medium. I called customer service and immediately got someone on the phone. They were very friendly and helpful. They provided me with instructions on returning the large suitcase I got, in exchange for the smaller size I wanted. The process was so easy/painless, unlike my experience with a other luggage company I ordered from before. Super excited to receive my smaller luggage and take a trip. I will only be ordering luggage from Solgaard moving forward :-)

Fantastic Product with Great Service!

We ordered the check-in closet original as a gift. We were very pleased with the appearance and features! It fits an incredible amount of clothes and whatever else you need. After 3 trips, we did have an issue with a pin that broke on the handle. We contacted customer service, and the issue was taken care of immediately and with great professionalism. They replaced the suitcase and had it sent out the next day.

Warranties are the real deal

I have bought several items from Solgaard over the years and needed to claim two warranties. Each time it has been extremely simple and it is clear that Solgaard wants to get things right and that their generous warranty is for real. The staff helping me (most recently Kristine) have been fantastic and are the reason the process is so simple and works so efficiently.

So excited to receive our two Solgaard…and Customer service was awesome

So excited to receive our two Solgaard pieces of luggage. We did have a bit of delay in shipping but not completely their fault and when arrived one items was missing, but as soon as I reached out to Solgaard they made it right and resolved the issue. The product is fantastic and the customer service is even better! We are very impressed with this company, the product and service. As a matter of fact, during all of this, I bought one of their backpacks at an awesome deal and it too is fantastic.

Top notch customer service and a great product

I placed an order for a carry on closet as a gift for my wife. She travels to Africa several times a year. I felt the closet would make it easier for her moving between hotels. Seems there was an issue with getting my order shipped. It hadn’t moved in almost a week so I emailed Solgaard support. The next day I had a very professional and courteous response from Jess. Jess took ownership of my issue and quickly started working on a resolution. About 24 hours later I had a follow that things are back on track and a nice thank you for my patience and working with Solgaard to let them help make the situation right. Jess followed up with details and a tracking number for me to be able to see the progress. Two days later and the new luggage piece was at my front door. My wife loves it and everyone is happy. A big thanks to Jess for making this a positive experience and doing right by the customer. Every company needs a Jess.

Incredible customer service!

I have never had such prompt and wonderful service in my life. I could not get into my suitcase after TSA opened it. It was Easter Sunday evening when everything was closed. I had to pry it open and couldn't close it again. When I shared my issue with them, they responded immediately and replaced my suitcase! I can't recommend them highly enough!

Incredible customer service

My four-year-old suitcase received a crack. Within one day, the company resolved the issue and sent me a new suitcase. The issue was resolved in less than 12 hours! I love my suitcase and this company!

We have two medium carry on closets and…

We have two medium carry on closets and two venture backpacks in our family. We travel both domestically and abroad. Solgaard bags have made our packing and travel efficient and hassle free.

We had an issue with the wheels on one of the carry on closets. When we reached out to the Solgaard team, Red in customer care immediately handled it for us and we could not be happier with their team and the product.

I bought a Solgaard hard case shell on…

I bought a Solgaard hard case shell on February 2. I carried it on to a vacation where it developed a pretty significant crack. It was the first time I used the suitcase. I went to report a warranty claim, and they’re not going to do anything because I cannot find the itemized receipt which indicates my purchase. Clearly from the photographs it’s a brand new suitcase, and also I’m sure there must be some kind of serial number or mfg number that indicates that it’s brand new. I’m willing to tear the suitcase apart to find that number and send it in. However, they told me they’re not going to help me unless I have the itemized receipt. I certainly can understand policies regarding claims. However, in this case, when the suitcase has been on one trip, carried it on, and clearly there’s absolutely no damage to the bag other than where it’s cracked, I would think an exception would apply As an executive platinum on American Airlines, I’ve had many bags over the years. Never have I had an issue like this. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

I’ve ordered a handful of products from Solgaard because everything is top notch, including their customer service. I travel on a weekly basis and between the carry on and the venture back pack, I never have to check in luggage. This stuff is built tough and I absolutely love the support team from Solgaard!!

Solgaard, good but one caution

I’ve been a repeat customer of Solgaard and have always appreciated the quality and design of their products. However, I recently had a disappointing experience that I think other buyers should be aware of.
After purchasing a suitcase directly from Solgaard (even with a small discount applied), I later discovered—completely by chance, through a conversation with someone at the airport—that the exact same bag was being sold at Costco for approximately $200 less than the standard price on Solgaard’s website. Even factoring in my discount, the price difference was still substantial.
Had I known this beforehand, I would have made my purchase through Costco instead.
I reached out to Solgaard, and they confirmed that they do occasionally partner with retailers like Costco for special promotions or limited-time offerings. However, they also noted that there’s currently no way for customers to be notified when their products are available through these third-party partners.
While I understand that pricing may vary across different sales channels, a difference of this size feels significant and worth flagging for other customers.
My advice: before purchasing directly from Solgaard, take a moment to check other retailers like Costco—you may find a much better price.
I still like the product itself, but this experience has made me more cautious about buying directly in the future.

Good product, but customer service could be quicker.

Loved solgaard carry on product but finally the case broke after years of consistent travel. Customer service has a bit of delay, reaching out to solgaard on line via FB helped me resolve a shipping issue that had been pending a few weeks. Very bad warranty service and poor quality product

I had great hopes for this product, I bought three items just for the shelf . However after three travels the strap of the shelf broke. Definitely it is not good quality. This is when the nightmare with their warranty support started. I notified them in January, they replied they do not have it in stock. After more than one month they agreed to take the luggage back and send me a new one. However when I received it did not have a shelf included, the only reason I bought this brand for. Since more than one month they keep saying that next day they will ship it, however after more than one month it did not ship yet. So after three month since notifying them, I ended up with a luggage with no shelf while they keep lying they will ship it tomorrow

No hassle warranty

Just returned from a month long trip with my four year old, carry-on closet, and noticed a crack in the top corner. Called Solgaard and spoke with a real customer service representative. After providing a few details and a photo of the damaged suitcase, I received an email that a new suitcase is being shipped to me – all without charge. No hassle and fantastic customer service. It’s a relief to deal with a company that stands behind its product. Also a good lesson to register your purchase. I will continue to order from Solgaard.

I love the SOLGAARD products and have…

I love the SOLGAARD products and have purchased two carry on closets (we have had them for three years, and they have been all over the place country, Alaska, Europe, and Australia with us!). I also recently purchased the original check-in closest for our longer trips that we are planning.
Recently I had one of the carry on closets crack near the wheel and knowing that these have a lifetime guarantee I reached out to the team. A replacement is on the way!
I love the fact that they back up their products and we love their products - compression pockets are a great concept and we are organized and can carry a lot in our suitcases. We also don’t need to unpack: we extend the handle and hang the pockets holder from the suitcase. This was very helpful in Europe. where bureaus are not a thing, like they are in the US.
We also love that SOLGAARD makes their products from retrieving discarded bottles from rivers and streams. We consider this such a win/win!
Thank you to Jess and the SOLGAARD team - we cannot recommend them enough, and have been telling our family and friends about their products for years. We continue to be delighted (not just happy) customers!

Happy Solgaard customer

My wife and I own multiple pieces of solgaard luggage and love them.
