Your refusal to answer emails left me very disappointed with your service

I can't believe I'm actually saying this about a car insurance company but Sterling have just been remarkable to deal with. They didn't show up on most of the comparison sites except uswitch, when I called them up about my quote that actually lowered it by £100, there was almost no wait time and the support person on the phone was genuinely really nice and helpful. The next day when I called again I got a different person and they were also remarkably nice, friendly and a pleasure to deal with and finalised the quote. A while later I had to call them up again because I had a question about my no claims proof and a question about a cosmetic modification and while the wait was long, again super friendly, warm, happy to help, actually knew what they were doing, resolved it quickly and easily. I really hope Sterling continue to be the best value insurer for me because they are genuinely such a pleasure to deal with compared to every other company support staff I've ever had to deal with. Really the best customer support staff in the business.

Had a very good experience. The person I spoke to was very helpful and polite explained all I needed to know.

I requested a change of vehicle details and when I was quoted a price, I asked for it to be reduced as policy only had 2 months to run.
The quote was waived.

insurance service and initial sign up process was seamless no issues. when my daughter passed her test 3 months into the policy? sterling's renewal was a lot more than competitors. their cancellation policy and rates (which I should have read) meant I have to pay more than the policy to cancel. 50% of the policy plus ridiculous admin fees from both sterling and the credit company. only take policy if intending to see it through

Excellent customer support from Emma Clements. She was professional, friendly and super helpful in discussing my teenage son’s new driver insurance. It is a minefield, trying to work out the best insurance/best vehicle, etc and it was reassuring to speak to someone knowledgable but also sympathetic to the complexities of doing the right thing and the best thing for a new young driver. I will certainly be returning, once we have decided on the vehicle, and my son has passed his test. Emma cellar has a natural way with customers over the phone and has received good training. I’d forgotten how good customer service with an actual person could actually be in this world of bots and automatic voices!!! Thank you.

Always efficient, they answer the phone, a pleasure to deal with. Unheard of in my experience of motor insurance my renewal premium was cheaper than the previous year. Sterling don’t follow the common practice of rewarding their loyal customers by annually increasing their premiums with auto renewals hoping nobody will notice.

Very impressed with Sterling Insurance, dealing with them felt more personal than with many companies and I felt I was treated as a valued individual rather than as a sales opportunity. Colleagues are helpful, patient and very knowledgable, and could fully answer all my questions. If I needed to call back with a query, colleagues could easily access and respond to the information from previous calls. Call times are not too long, and hold music and messages are tolerable!
