J'ai acheté un réfrigérateur de marque FRIGIDAIRE chez tanguay, au moins de six mois il tombe en panne, suite à l'intervention du technicien ce week-end, il m'a fait arrêter l'appareil pour une pièce défectueuse qui je souligne, présentait bien des signes de surchauffe ( risque du feu). Outre ce risque bien grave, je me retrouve presentement sans frigo au motif que c'est l'affaire du service à la clientèle qui ne travaille pas le week-end ! Vitre clientèle qui vous a fait confiance ne risque pas d'avoir des soucis le week-end ? J'avoue ne pas avoir compris votre façon de faire avec vos propres clients !

Nous avons acheté un fauteuil sur éleveur en sept2023. En mars 2025 un ressort casse. Sa fait 4 mois que l on nous envoie des ressorts usagés en disant de nous organiser pour l installer.
Mes parents âgés de plus 80 ans en sont incapables et de toute manière il faudrait avoir le bon ressort!!!!
Y a 3 semaines après m être déplacé avec le ressort en entrepôt on me promet un appel d ici la fin de la journée... j attend toujours !
Un fauteuil qui brise après même pas 18 mois, incapable d avoir quelqu un peut aider, encore moins capable de faire des retours d appel....
Pensez-y...et c est juste pour un ressort

Magasinage le lundi 14 juillet vers 13h30 chez Tanguay à Québec pour acheter une cuisinière electrique. Accueil assez froid et on a l'impression de les déranger. Personnel peu soucieux de découvrir nos besoins et de suggérer différentes alternatives. Après 10 minutes, nous avons quitté le magasin pour aller chez Rona et Home Dépôt où nous trouvons un personnel chaleureux et attentif.
Nous avions déjà vécu la même situation il y a trois mois alors que nous recherchions laveuse et sécheuse superposées.

Ordered a coffee machine then receive wrong color, called back for exchange, first call was cut automatically and second call was picked then I was told that I called wrong number the first time. The agent feel no sorry to their mistake and take me take long to order a new one and made me feel that I should keep the wrong one and pay for their mistake. I feedbacked my real feeling in a normal tone and the agent insisted that I’m yelling at her and give a lot of excuses. The I received a claim ticket but in wrong category. From the beginning until the end of the call, I feel very uncomfortable for their attitude. Hopefully I can get my right order soon. No any will to purchase from Tanguay for their poor after sale customer service. I have to say when I put the order through the phone call, the agent is very nice, knowledgeable and experienced, but for the after sale customer service department totally no recommendation.

La première fois, livraison du BBQ, tout est allé ok. Sauf pour le livreur qui me demande un tip pour l'apporter en arrière. Ce matin, un réfrigérateur doit être livré entre 10:15 et 13:15. Il est 13:20. Le conducteur me contacte ce matin à 10h55 disant qu'il serait là dans 20 minutes = 11:15. Je les rappelle à 11:45 pour me faire dire qu'ils sont coincés chez l'autre client. Donc pourquoi m'avoir appelé d’abord ??? Il est 13:21...j'attends toujours gggrrrr.

Le meuble a une finition médiocre, une texture irrégulière et encore l'arnaque de plan de garantie!!!
on a pris un plan de garantie pour 10 ans et ils voulaient pas nous le donner même apres 6 mois.
Service a la clientele Très bas et manque du respect aux clients avec des fausses informations.
Jamais un autre achat de Tangay

N'achetez pas chez eux,c'est la pire compagnie qui existe.Ca fait plus de 8 semaines que j'attends une commande qui n'est toujours pas arriver.A eviter

I bought a queen sized bed at end of November. Installed by their people. Had to dismantle the first week of December as the off gassing of materials used to construct bed made me very sick. Of course their policy is any item to be returned must be in original packaging which was taken away by the men who installed bed. Right now dismantled bed is sitting in my shed. If I could have given a minus star it would be my rating. Unable to understand why such toxic product is on market. Do not buy this item

Doitfaire 4-5 mois j’ai commandé ca doit etre seulement une boite. Ca fait 4 fois que le camion passe en avant de chez nous va meme chez le voisin porter une boite. J’ai toujours rien recu. Service pourri

The Freezer my wife and I selected for our needs was the Midea model# MRU1482ASL.
Our salesperson stated that door may be mounted on left side inside of right side and also that this adjustment was to be done by the delivery people. When delivered on Mar. 15/25, the delivery person stated that they do not do this and that I should contact a technician at my own cost.
Contacted MIDEA and requested the door reversal. Company stated that on this model it can’t be done.
Any yet inside the freezer is the supplied door hinge for the left side??
On same day, my wife and I went back to Tanguay in Kirkland to speak with the salesperson.
He was not there that day but we were directed to the Manager of the store. The manager stated that a technician would call on Monday (17) or Tuesday(18) to schedule an appointment.
On Mar.17/25, I received a call from a representative at Tanguay store. The woman I spoke with informed me that the door reversal should have been done at warehouse before delivery. She also stated that someone will call to rectify the situation; or I could do the door reversal myself!!
The original salesperson called on same day. He suggested that I make an appointment with their recommended technician, pay the bill and then send the bill to Tanguay for a refund. I refused to do this and requested that he or Tanquay contact the technician, do the job and pay them. Salesperson advised me that he would look into it further and call me back. He called back and stated that the Midea advised him that door is not reversible. My other option was to return the freezer and make another selection. Instead, I called the recommended technician, appoinment made morning of March 18, door attached to left side (functioning), paid the bill ($86.23) and requested refund from Tanguay. Refund issued ($114.98) by Tanguay through salesperson. Tanguay issued an addition amount of $28.75 for all my troubles. Some compensation. I discovered this morning that Midea is an American company and I should have bought Canadian.
Suggest: Buy Canadian and I do not recommend Tanguay for your purchases.
Tanguay is formerly Brault & Matineau and EconoMax and Liquida Meubles.

Just wondering how a young company can give away $1000000 prizes. Do they think we're stupid. Even if they do give money away. Who is paying for it? CUSTOMERS!

Ordered washer dryer all in one beginning oct 2024 told would be delivered between Nov 8-14 didn't come called end of nov told dec than told Jan 28th today will call and will probably be told Feb been going laundry mat for 4month now wasting time and money I paid in full when purchased in oct so beware don't make my mistake and trust them keep your money customer service not helpful just blaming manufacturer

As per other reviews I have read (unfortunately only after my own disaster), the in-store service was great, after that, complete disaster, scam, fraud - sent me a washer that does not work properly. They are willing to send me a repairman - which they say may or may not be at my own cost.......but I don't want a machine that needs repairs right off the bat. I want what I paid for, a new machine - that works! Almost impossible to reach anyone by phone unless you have an hour or 2 to wait for someone to answer, and the salesman doesn't answer any more messages. If you want to buy something from Tanquay - don't. Go somewhere else. They don't even install, just dump the merchandise and leave. Never even told me I would have to get someone to do it, but salesman insists that he did tell me, which is a lie. Go somewhere else and save yourself a lot of headaches and wasted time and money and effort. Karen

Fantastic customer service at the store. Very impressed. However, the product and the service is a complete disaster.
The product arrived and the table does not elongate. I was patient and waited for a replacement. The replacement arrived and does not elongate either.
Not interested in any Tanguay products. Zero Value. I asked for a return and reimbursement. Customer service cannot tell me when a superviser will call me back. I have setup my Credit card to dispute this transaction.

Terrible, and will NOT recommend.

Ordered an item, they cancelled without a refund. Instead they just labelled it as 'delivered'. No tracking, no delivery. Either extreme incompetence or trying to scam their customers.

I have no stove for what has now been 3 weeks. The stove was new, received in late June. After a month, the stove broke while I was boiling water. First time the technician came, he did not have the details even though they were sent to Tanguay prior to the visit. The second time he came, he had ordered the wrong part. So I had to stay home from work 2 times now and still, I have no stove.

Tanguay says it does not compensate for the inconvenience. Yet, it's recognized that a stove is an essential piece of household furniture, and in the meantime I can't enjoy my home because of Tanguay's fault.

Very disappointed with Tanguay's service. 100% would not recommend.
