Our guide, Pasang, was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring and organised, and we truly felt that everything was tailored specifically to our group so we could have the best experience possible.

He was always looking out for us, making sure we were comfortable, happy and well taken care of. From start to finish, we felt like we were in the best hands and could completely trust him.

We had a wonderful eight-day trip with our guide, Dickey, and our driver, Topgyal.

Dickey explained everything clearly and in detail. Whenever we had trouble understanding something in English, she would explain it again in Chinese. She was always happy to answer our questions and help us.

Both Dickey and Topgyal were friendly, funny, and great at handling unexpected situations. Their humour made the trip even more enjoyable. Through our conversations with them, we also learned a lot about Tibetan daily life, customs, and culture.

We were especially lucky to see the recently held Semo Chenmo Cham Festival, which was an unexpected and unforgettable highlight.

This was our first visit to Tibet, and it left a deep impression on us. Eight days only allowed us to scratch the surface, so we hope to return and explore more.

Thanks to the travel agency for putting together such a wonderful group. The scenery was beautiful, but our fellow travellers made the journey even more special. We loved meeting new people and sharing different experiences and perspectives with travellers from around the world.

The tour from start to finish was amazing. Our guide, Dickey, was very fun, bubbly, and knowledgeable. She answered all of our random questions! Everything was well planned and easy. The tour really gives you a great look at Tibetan culture and the chance to experience some of it for yourself. Seeing Everest was also a dream come true. The whole group started as strangers and became friends along the way! It was truly one of the most fun and interesting experiences I have had. Highly recommend!!

Our journey through Tibet with Tibet Vista, including Everest Base Camp and the sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of this wonderful experience was thanks to our exceptional guide, Kunchok, and our driver, Karma.

Kunchok is an outstanding guide, with extensive knowledge of Tibetan history, culture, and spirituality. During our visits to monasteries, temples, and other remarkable places, his explanations were always fascinating and helped us understand Tibet on a much deeper level. But what impressed me just as much was his extraordinary ability to take care of the individual needs of every member of the group. He was always patient, kind, attentive, and ready to help, especially during the more challenging parts of our journey.

Karma was an exceptional driver who made us feel completely safe throughout the long and sometimes difficult roads of Tibet. Beyond his excellent driving skills, his cheerful personality, sense of humor, and positive energy brought so much fun and warmth to our journey — something especially valuable during such a physically demanding adventure.

Kunchok and Karma made a fantastic team. Professional, caring, reliable, and genuinely wonderful people, they contributed enormously to making our journey to EBC, Mount Kailash, and Lake Mansarovar one of those experiences that stays with you forever.

Wir sind von Lhasa über das Everest Base Camp bis zum Kailash gereist.
Auch der Fahrer WangJal hat einen tollen Job gemacht und uns sicher und entspannt tausende Kilometer durch Tibet gefahren.
Die Höhe ist anspruchsvoll, vor allem die Überquerung des Dolma La Passes am Kailash mit 5630 Metern.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible journey – and a very special thank you to PANCHENJAP!

It is actually quite difficult for me to rate this journey, because Tibet was much more than just a tour for me.

I have travelled quite a lot in my life and have also been in the Himalayas several times, but Tibet was different. The landscapes were incredible, of course, but what really stayed with me were the people, the monasteries, the spirituality and all these small moments along the way. The Potala Palace in Lhasa was probably the most impressive building I have ever seen in my life.

And a huge part of what made this journey so special was our guide: PANCHENJAP!

I really cannot praise PANCHENJAP enough.

He is simply a great guy. Knowledgeable, calm, funny, patient and incredibly reliable. But most importantly, he never made me feel like I was just another tourist being moved from one sightseeing point to the next.

I learned an incredible amount from PANCHENJAP – about Tibet, Buddhism, the monasteries, the people and their way of life. And not in the style of somebody reciting information from a guidebook. We talked, asked questions, discussed things and sometimes simply observed what was happening around us. That is exactly how I like to travel.

My journey ultimately turned out differently than planned. Due to circumstances along the way and my own decision, I did not continue to Kailash. And especially at that moment I saw once again what kind of person PANCHENJAP is. There was no pressure and no attempt to convince me otherwise. He understood my decision immediately and helped organize everything necessary for my return.

That meant a lot to me.

Of course, the organization of the whole trip was excellent as well. Our driver was great, the vehicle was comfortable, everything worked and even when plans had to change, solutions were found.

But if there is one person I especially want to thank, it is PANCHENJAP.

Thank you, my friend. I came to Tibet wanting to see extraordinary places. I left having learned and experienced much more than I expected.

And that is probably the best thing I can say about a journey.

If you travel to Tibet and get PANCHENJAP as your guide, consider yourself lucky. I certainly did.

Had a fabulous 2 week tour with Tibet Vista. Our guide, Jimmy, put in so much effort to ensure we had a really informative and enjoyable time. We learned so much about Tibetan culture and he encouraged us all the way around the Kailash Kora and everyone in the group completed it. When circumstances didn’t go according to plan, he was quick to rearrange and change bookings as necessary.

Our driver, Norbu, did an excellent job. Driving professionally at all times, he always has a friendly smile, nothing was too much trouble and he was always ready with tea and snacks for us when the time arrived.

The 15-day trip to Tibet was a real adventure, not a relaxing vacation. Our visits to the various monasteries were enriched by our guide’s Kumshok deep knowledge. He took excellent care of us throughout the entire trip—whether at the hotel, in restaurants, or even during the bus rides. On the tour around Mount Kailash, he provided invaluable emotional support. I would definitely go on another trip to Tibet with this company and this guide.

Our Tibet expedition to Mount Kailash and Everest was made truly magical by two remarkable individuals: Dickey, our guide, and Bhado, our driver. From the moment we met them, we felt that karma had brought us together for this spiritual adventure.

Bhado navigated the roughest, most challenging roads with unwavering precision and endless patience, never once showing fatigue while keeping us safe and comfortable.

Dickey, our guide, was equally extraordinary. She opened our eyes not only to the breathtaking majesty of the mountains but also to the resilience, commitment, and respect that define Tibetan culture. With meticulous passion, she attended to every need and want, ensuring we could fully immerse ourselves in this sacred land.
Her profound sense of responsibility, rooted in Buddhist teachings, shone through in every interaction, she taught us lessons we will carry as we grow older and wiser.

Together, Dickey and Bhado formed an unbeatable team: one guiding our minds and spirits, the other steering us safely through the Himalayas. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts—you both deserve every bit of our 5‑star gratitude.

Dekyi our guide is empathetic, funny, open minded and honestly skilled and knowledgeable about the religion and Tibet. I would recommend to book a tour with her if you want to have an uncomplicated, funny and memorable trip to Tibet.

The 15-day Tibet tour from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp, and Mount Kailash (including Kora) was a truly unforgettable pilgrimage. Visiting sacred places and witnessing the breathtaking landscapes and culture of Tibetan was a deeply meaningful experience that I will always cherish.

During the whole trip, I was grateful to had great experiences and being able to enjoyed daily programs without getting sick in such high altitude environments. I believe take into consideration on the preparation process played essential part of this trip. I personally, love going trekking and once in a while climbing a few thousands meter route. However, the highest and latest elevations I climbed was around four thousand meters in Nepal last year which was more than a thousand meters less than Tibet with totally different climates. So, while getting prepared, allowed sometime consulting with the tour agent person and your Physician if you needed. Given that the itinerary was well organized, allowing us to experience the spiritual significance of Mount Kailash, the majesty of Everest Base Camp, and the rich culture and history of Tibet while maintaining good paces for everyone’s acclimatization.

In addition, some important notes that future travelers should be aware of is that to make sure you allow yourself enough time to go through itinerary details thoroughly and read the REVIEWs which will help you understand and foreseen the arrangement on ground (eg., what to expect in case you travel during the peak season of Kora, confirm the list of Hotels and hotel booking status prior to your arrival, porter conditions, and you also want to have some pictures of the 3 day kora beforehand, etc.). On the last day in Lhasa, a few of us were having some unexpected yet uncommunicated changes of Airport/ Train transfer plan but then all sorted out in the following time and we did not miss our flight/train, thankfully. I trusted that everyone involved were doing their best within their capacities to ensure smooth and memorable trip experiences for every guests.

Furthermore, our guide Mr. Khunchok was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared for the group throughout the journey. As well, our chauffeur was kind, helpful and experience on those rural road conditions. Additionally, I would also like to give special thanks to Miss Amy (Zhang) from Chengdu office for her incredible supportive from the moment I started to consult about the trip package. Her professionalism and kindness gave me confidence and made the entire experience much smoother.

Overall, this was an incredible journey that I would happily recommend to anyone seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience combining adventure, culture, and spiritual pilgrimage. Thanks to the entire Tibet Vista team, especially Miss Amy and our guide Khunchok, for making this journey so memorable.

Traveling through Tibet for two weeks was an absolute dream, and choosing to go with Kumshok made it an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. From day one, his profound knowledge of the region, its history, and its rich culture truly set him apart. His deep understanding and eloquent explanations of Tibetan Buddhism added so much meaning to every monastery, temple, and sacred site we visited.

What impressed us most was his incredible expertise—there wasn't a single question he couldn't answer! Beyond his immense factual knowledge, he had a wonderful talent for bringing the land and its people closer to us, offering genuine cultural insights that you simply cannot find in a guidebook.

Zero historical information from guide, all about toilet and food. I did not get horse - org. chaos and chinese rules didnt alow me to get back on khora. So either you make 3 day or just one day.
