Essentially going from Lhasa to MT Everest base camp was overall a road trip with so many things to see and experience outside siteseeing. Long bus ride felt really good becouse you get to see real Tibet and people. We had a wonderful and patient guide Dickey that had a such a positive energy that reflected on a whole group. Also all the praises to our driver Mr Fang that navigate narrow passes and made us feel so safe all the time.

My incredible journey to Tibet started with a simple message to Tibet Vista. I was quickly connected with Laura from the sales team, who completely simplified the booking process and took the stress out of the technicalities for our Lhasa, Everest Base Camp (EBC), and Mt. Kailash itinerary.

They say honesty is the best policy, a trait sometimes hard to find in the travel industry where some guides might just make things up as they go. Not Kiki. She was always upfront and truthful. Because local site conditions and access can change rapidly (especially during this years being the Saga Dawa year), Kiki was constantly working behind the scenes. She tirelessly checked with her local sources and the back office to ensure that before we even arrived at a destination, our entry and tickets were flawlessly sorted.

Kiki truly made this trip unforgettable. Here is why she deserves the highest praise:

- Deep Cultural Knowledge: Kiki understood the whys, hows, and whats of every historical site we visited. She didn't just recite facts; she went in-depth to give us a profound understanding of the significance and history of these sacred places.

- Behind-the-Scenes Magic: We traveled roughly 1,400km from East to West (Lhasa to Mt. Kailash and back). The route is filled with complex regional checkpoints and paperwork (like the Tibetan Travel Permit). Kiki handled every single logistical hurdle flawlessly behind the scenes. As tourists, we never experienced a single delay or had to deal with any of the exhausting paperwork—she completely shielded us from the stress so we could simply enjoy the journey.

- Going Above and Beyond: At EBC and Mt. Kailash, I mentioned a personal request: I wanted to photograph the Milky Way. Kiki immediately reached out to her network to find out the best plans and updated me with all the relevant details. Thanks to her extra effort, I had the most incredible 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM photography session with my group members.

- Uncompromising Safety & Crisis Management: Traveling at such high altitudes is daunting, but our bus was always fully stocked with oxygen canisters, and Kiki constantly updated us on how to manage our changing altitude. Even when local porters were scarce due to the Saga Dawa festival, she managed to organize everything we needed. When a group member suffered from altitude sickness on the second day of the Kailash trek, Kiki’s true dedication shone. She prioritized her safety, staying behind to personally escort her back to Darchen, while seamlessly handing the rest of us over to a trusted substitute guide so our trek wasn't compromised.

Finally, a special mention must go to Lobsang, our driver. Though he had a limited English vocabulary, his skills spoke volumes. Navigating those vast distances, he was always fresh, highly alert, and never once compromised on our safety to get us to our destinations.

I cannot recommend this team enough, and Kiki is truly a hidden gem of a guide, going above and beyond to leave her tourists only with a smile and memories to g back with!

Our guide Tashi Phuntsok had been great for our trip to Kailash Kora and surrounding. He was a great help at every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable. We highly recommend him.

Panchenjap is a very good guy it's very caring of us even though it's like a half hour aged but he cares for us along the journey making sure that our cat for physically and the journey to Everest Base Camp is a challenging journey for us because the air is right and it is try and it's cool but he make sure that every step of the way he make sure that we are comfortable and we know what how to navigate throughout so that's much we can say about him thank you

I had a 10-day private tour, Lhasa-Tsedang-Everest Base Camp (EBC) through Tibet Vista. Kiki was my guide and Yönden was our driver. They were very professional and caring. They made me feel very welcome, listened to my needs and assisted me when I needed help. They also gave me very good preparatory advice and items, e.g., when going to EBC they gave me plenty of oxygen cans to use up there, highlighting that it is 5200 metres above sea level and that I would need them - which I did. I felt like I was on a great road trip with two siblings, having an excellent adventure within the breathtaking landscapes and monasteries of Tibet. My deepest gratitude and thanks to both of them for making my first visit to Tibet one to remember for a lifetime!!!

I cant recommend TibetVista highly enough. I found them online because kf their Mount everest tour but I additionally wanted orger steps before and after that tour. I emailed 3 companies, only Tibet Vista replied. Mary worked hand in hand with me to finalise my itinerary and when it came to the trip itself their planning, their guides, their customer service, their problem solving were exemplary. And all at a very fair price. They made my trip satisfaction their priority, and they have people who are fun to be with, and very passionate and knowledgable.. If planning another similar trip i wouldnt even bother looking at other companies.

My journey with Tibet Vista was not just a tour — it was a deeply transformative spiritual experience that touched my heart and soul in ways beyond words. From the very beginning until the completion of the sacred Kailash Yatra, every aspect of the journey was handled with extraordinary care, sincerity, and devotion.

The arrangements for accommodation, food, transportation, and overall comfort exceeded all my expectations. Even in the challenging terrains and conditions of Kailash, the team ensured that we always felt supported, safe, and cared for. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the entire pilgrimage peaceful and spiritually fulfilling.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Kristine from the office team, whose dedication, patience, and heartfelt support made this sacred journey possible. She carefully planned every detail with immense professionalism and compassion, ensuring that everything was perfectly organized. Her warmth and reassurance gave me complete confidence even before the journey began.

A very special and heartfelt thanks to our guide, Panchenjap. He was truly a blessing on this pilgrimage. His kindness, wisdom, humility, and constant support went far beyond the responsibilities of a tour guide. He understood the spiritual significance of Kailash and did everything possible to help each one of us experience it at the deepest level. Time and again, he went above and beyond to ensure that my purpose of coming to Mount Kailash was fulfilled — spiritually, emotionally, and personally.

There are some journeys in life that remain in your heart forever, and this was one of them. I will always carry immense gratitude and respect for Tibet Vista and their incredible team for helping create memories and spiritual experiences that will stay with me for a lifetime.

We had a very wonderful interesting trip to Tibet with Tibet Vista.
Grace at the head office was very efficient and responsive; both tour guides in Chengdu Winnie and Rosa were very helpful. The driver in Chengdu was also very professional & friendly.

Our tour guide in Tibet was Dickey and the driver Topgyal were very friendly and efficient. Dickey would go out of her way to accommodate our needs.

What I loved the most was the warmth and friendliness of our tour guide Kiki and our driver Tarzan. They really show the essence or Tibetan people. They where always willing to help. I would have liked to be able to experience more the tibetan culture and think this trip should be a little bit longer, to have the opportunity to experience Tibet in a deeper way.

With a group of 11 people and me as TL we made a really absolutely wonderful tour of 16 days through Tibet, organised by Tibet Vista.
Our guide Phurbu made it a trip we will never forget. His knowledge of everything (itinerary, culture, history, nature, Buddhism, just name it), his kindness, his humor, his attention for all and everything, made it a more than great experience.
Our driver Pemba took us all the way with good care and driver skills. We felt save.

I had a great experience since reservation process until the last day of the trip. No need to worry if you come alone, the tour will help you to prepare and take care of you nicely. Especially Dickey, the guide and Topgyal, the driver, they are professional, friendly and helpful.

We set off on a trip to Tibet with our four-year-old daughter. We arrived in Lhasa by train, where a driver was waiting to take us straight to the hotel. The next day, we met our guide, Dickey. An incredibly positive person, full of energy and optimism, she spoke about the culture, traditions, and history of her homeland. She was also incredibly caring, considering that one of us had experienced altitude sickness. My daughter loved her! Thanks to her, we learned incomparably more about the history and traditions of Tibet than if we had had to seek this knowledge ourselves. The agency, handled Tibet permit and other paperwork without any problems.
