Booked a 16 day tour to EBC and Mt Kailash during the Saga Dawa Festival. Our guide Yangzom (Grace) and driver Chungda made sure our trip was as comfortable as possible, and went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly and every members’ request was fulfilled.

Yangzom is very knowledgeable on Tibetan history, and I learnt a lot from her. She also answered all questions our group had.

Thanks to Yangzom and her guidance, all members of our group managed to complete the trek around Mt Kailash, which is no mean feat.

Overall, I enjoyed my first trip to Tibet thanks to the expert guidance of Yangzom and Chungda.

That was a great journey ! I liked the itinerary, all places we've been to. Our tour guide and driver are awesome people. I got an assistance with hospital from tour guide when I got an altitude sickness, so much helpful. Our tour guide always encouraged us, so all the members of the group were able to complete Kora! I definitely return to tibet with travel vista to peach blossom and east part of region and will highly recommend it to my friends. Thanks a lot❤

My Pilgrimage to Mount Kailash was made possible by Tibet Vista and Lakhdon.The dream journey became reality when I did the Kailash Kora.The Drolmala pass phase was extremely difficult but Lakhdon arranged horses ,oxygen and medication and above all moral support through out the journey.
My wife suffered exhaustion on the third day of Kora and Lakhdon was quick to arrange the ambulance and rescue her.
My thank you from my bottom of my heart.

Lhakdon was one in a million. I have traveled extensively but never met a genuine person like this. She has lot of experience every place we visited and was a good storyteller never a dull moment. She gave that personal touch to very moment even the places where we had to stop for lunch was pre booked this is how much she was organized. She is a great asset and truly a great guide

Yangzom, Grace was absolutely best guide. The tour I did was 16 days to Mt, Kailash and everything was very well thought after. I always felt we were in good hands. Group size was 12 people which was about right, and while I usually prefer independent travel, Yangzom made the experience enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend it.

Enjoyed the small group departure. There are only 12 persons in a group so we move efficiently and no need to rush or wait for too long at every spot. The whole trip was really enjoyable and both the driver Dawa and guide Yangzom took very good care of us. Both tried their very best to meet our requests and ensure that we are well throughout the trip. The hike to Mount Kailash was very challenging but all of us made it thanks to Yangzom. It was a great life experience to celebrate Saga Dewa @ Mount Kailash and to Kora @ Mount Kailash, so blessed and rejoice.

Our tour guide - Grace / Yang Zom / 央宗, did an excellent job to explain in details for all the places that we went, gave us many insights of Tibet & Buddha history.
She gave full supports during this tour and has 100% warm hearted to accommodate the needs for every single of us, take good care when some guests failed sick during the trip.

Our driver - Chu Da / 冲搭, did a good job for keeping the whole journey safely and smoothly, on time and is a good accompany to have along this tour.

Yang Zom was very helpful! She was flexible and made sure each individual in our 12 person group had a good time (which is no small thing, since each person’s needs were varied and unique). When I was sick she took care of me and helped me at the pharmacy. When some people underestimated the difficulty of the kora she helped them to get porters and a horse. She supported dietary restrictions and made sure we always ordered food what was right for us. All of this ON TOP of being a very knowledgeable tour guide. Her mastery of English, Chinese, and Tibetan helped us to all to fully understand the amazing sites we were visiting. Her expertise of Buddhism was amazing while we were at temples and religious sites and I gained so much more from this tour than I had even hoped. I’m so grateful to have been matched with Grace as our guide and she is an incredible, approachable, and patient guide. She even aided others in other groups when separated from their guides and in need of help. She’s so very well networked with the hotels, guides, porters, drivers, and sites we visited. I can’t imagine a better guide.

‚Breathtaking‘ trip across Tibet. We took the train from Chengdu to Lhasa and exited Tibet in Gyirong to cross into Nepal. All along the way we were surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Kiki took us under her wings, showing us her culture and discovering places of Tibet that were new to her, too. She‘s helped us bridging language barriers many times and thanks to her we had several encounters with the curious and open Tibetans. Thank you.

The tour guide Sherab was very friendly and took great care of everyone. He enthusiastically answerred all our questions about Tibetan history and culture. Tibet Vista's was good and the experience even better if te hotel slightly improved

You can trust Tibet Vista to provide a well planned and cost effective tour. There is a lot packed in to 8 days so be prepared for some busy days. The monasteries, palaces, temples and scenery are amazing. My advice is wear some good footwear as there is a lot of walking and steps. We stayed in local hotels and eat in local restaurants all arranged or advised by Tibet Vista. Amy in the office answered all my queries. Thank you. Our guide Lobsang and his driver looked after me really well as I walk with a stick and need help with the steps. Thank you Lobsang. In summary, I really enjoyed this tour and the assistance from all the Tibet Vista staff and travelling companions meant I could do so much more. Thank you everyone.

At first everything seemed fine. The contact with this company was friendly and helpful but after you paid the problems start. They make false promises about being able to arrange visiting places which is absolutely not possible at all.
Then it is not possible to visit places twice and they don't offer anything substantial as a replacement for the whole afternoon.
Then they tell you you'll get a single room for the whole tour and suddenly someone shows up to your room to share .without any explanation or without even asking.
They kept promising things and not keeping their word and also not replying to answers.

The tour itself was all about being shepherded from one viewpoint to the next without seeing the real Tibet. Not visiting villages or any interaction with locals at all. The guides don't speak english sufficient enough to give you more than the basics and questions will remain unanswered. All and all very disappointing.

We had plan to visit Kailash from long time ago,I'm very happy that my dream came true, I loved to all monastery in Lhasa especially Potala Palace.we had done Kailash Kora had a very good experience,Guide Dickey helpful she had help us in every situation ,she's polite we had a very good and kind guide And driver Nyima is very nice man he take us every destination smoothly and he is excellent diver. good service.

My husband and I did a 10 day tour with Lhakdon as our guide and Namdol as our driver, organisedby Tibet Vista. Lhakdon was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the country and culture etc was extensive and she was able to share this in an engaging way. She was kind, considerate and respectful not only to us but others around us too. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured we had the best tour. Lhakdon was sensitive to our needs and wellbeing at all times. Namdol was a brilliant driver and always drove carefully and safely, and stopped whenever there was something to see. They both did a phenomenal job and we can't recommend them highly enough. An exceptional and unforgettable trip thanks to them.

Lhakdon was our tour guide in Shigatse and accompanied us all the way back to Lhasa by train. We had an absolute perfect experience with her. She was waiting for her at the hotel when we arrived and explained all the itinerary and gave us good advice on where to get dinner. The next morning she was punctual, agile and extremely warm, friendly and helpful, especially with my elderly mother. She gave us lengthy explanations, taught us words in Tibetan and gave us an unforgetable tour of Tashi Lhumpo Temple and then helped us shop for souvenirs at the Old Market before taking us to a delightful lunch at a traditional place. She took care of all the train arrangements and was attentive of my mother's needs and also gave us wonderful tips for our free time in Lhasa, and arranged for our airport transportation. All along she was friendly, curious and a great company. We have nothing but positive opinions on Lhakdon and hope that many other tourists are lucky to spend time visiting Tibet with her wonderful, capable and delightful company!

This trip was once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Phurbu was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure we are all happy at all times. Everything was well planned. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to explore Tibet and I will definitely be back with friends soon

Tibet Vista had put up a great itinerary based on our requirement. It was at a good pace, allowing us to acclimatize. Lhakdon is one of the best tour guides that I have met. She is friendly, shares lots of information about the places that we visited, local traditions and customs. She went all out to make sure that we are comfortable. She always kept a look out for me to make sure that I am doing ok. We had lots of fun together with her.
Phuntso, our driver, is friendly and keeps us safe for the entire journey.
