Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Firstly, the parcel was delayed by an additional 36 hours, which meant we missed the first day of our birthday trip waiting for it to arrive.

When it finally arrived, we planned a lovely sunset treat and wanted to toast marshmallows. Unfortunately, the fire would go out within 20 seconds of lighting it. We tried everything, but nothing worked.

After around an hour of getting fed up and the whole party getting annoyed, we decided to pack everything up and take it back to our penthouse apartment to try again on the balcony, thinking perhaps the location or wind was the problem.

Sadly, it made absolutely no difference and it still wouldn’t stay lit.

What makes this even more disappointing is the customer service afterwards. I initially asked for a member of management to contact me regarding the issues. I then received a message from the company only after I had left my review. I replied asking for the matter to be properly looked into by management, and since then I’ve received no response whatsoever.

Even more strangely, my original review has now been deleted from the page.

For something that was supposed to be part of a lovely birthday trip, the whole experience has been incredibly disappointing. The product didn’t work, the delivery was delayed, and the customer service has been, in my opinion, absolutely awful.

Definitely the worst customer service I’ve experienced and there seems to be very little care once they’ve received your money. 😕

Lots of fun was had by all on our summer holiday in Scotland with a Toast’d s’mores kit and hot chocolate kit being a huge hit! Children aged 4, 5 and two 9 year olds all managed to toast their marshmallows and then choose how they wanted their finished s’mores to look. The novelty of hot chocolate with a chocolate and sprinkles rim to their mugs also went down very well. Thank you Toast’d for adding an extra treat to our holiday.

I’ve bought numerous boxes from Toast-d over recent months and have been really happy with the speed of delivery and the quality of the products. We love them as a family, so much so that I’ve given them as gifts! Communication is also excellent and had very speedy replies to any questions or queries I’ve had. My only complaint… I wish I’d found Toast-d sooner!

We love these kits!! They've become both a holiday staple and a great gift idea for tweens when they're so hard to buy for!

Bought some of these kits for birthday presents for my niece and nephew, they loved them and said they want them again at Christmas!! We got a free hot chocolate kit with the order and it was delicious. A fun activity for our family who love hot chocolate!

Excellent service. Not the first time to purchase kits. I love them. They are perfect for gifts for any occasion, without breaking the bank. Great value for money. Super fast dispatch time. Crazy story, I have recently found out I ahve a full bloody sister at the age of 40 and she has always lived 20 minutes away, we are starting to build a special relationship along with getting to know my 2 nephews - I ordered the SMores kit as something we could all do together and it went down a treat and really helped us connect - it arrived on time and was packaged wonderfully - absolutly will be orderign again.

I ordered a kit to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday and the whole family loved it. My son used it again with his friends a couple of months later, I just bought new edible supplies from the supermarket. Once ours has run out I’ll definitely buy another one and some for gifts too.

These kits are my go to for birthday gifts, in particular for my son’s friends, I find boys are always so tricky to buy for, but these kits are always a massive hit! Thank you!

Brilliant product, we’ve had two and ordered for gifts. Such fun to take to the beach or wood or just in the house! Delicious marshmallows, easy to melt at home chocolate, children and adults loved it! Would buy again.

I only wish I had read the reviews before ordering! The actual products are fantastic, that’s if you actually get what was advertised! Customer service is appalling, they choose to attack aggressively, a bit like arguing with a teenager, being incredibly rude saying I’m “not normal” for questioning why an advertised item is missing! Avoid at all costs! I have reported them to the ASA and Trading Standards for misleading and false advertising. Looking at the reviews on here it’s clear I’m not alone with items not arriving as expected. I’m thankful at least part of my order was fulfilled, others aren’t quite so lucky. This has taught me a lesson and I will use PayPal to purchase next time or use Etsy so that I’m protected should things go wrong. Buyer beware!

Had a fantastic experience all around using Toast’d products. We had a s’mores kit and a marshmallow kit and we’ve really enjoyed both on separate occasions. Instructions are really easy to follow and we’re super happy the s’mores kit came with its own easy to use burner and much meant we could use it wherever we wanted!

Great quality marshmallows and biscuits. I’d happily buy again for myself or friends and family. Kept 2 x 10 year olds very happy and very occupied during half term! I’d be shocked if I didn’t purchase these as gifts in the future.

I placed Order 12/12/2025 and paid for TRACKED48 delivery, but the order still never arrived.

The order was later marked as “on its way” on 24/12/2025 and a Royal Mail reference was provided, but that did not resolve anything because the parcel was never actually received. I also raised concerns directly and did not receive a proper resolution.

This was especially frustrating because the item was intended as a Christmas gift, and the delivery timeframe paid for was clearly not met. Based on my experience, the main issues here are poor communication, missed delivery expectations, and failure to resolve a missing order properly.

The company needs to improve its dispatch reliability, communication with customers, and handling of missing orders. Customers should not have to chase repeatedly or consider chargebacks just to get a basic resolution.

Ordered a marshmallow set for £20 , didn't arrive and no response from multiple emails. It's been months since the order. Terrible company

Wouldn’t recommend. Items came with less than 6 months BBE as advertised. Tried to contact via email (three different addresses) all have postmaster return as their server is not receiving emails. Tried to contact on social media, 0 response. Lesson learned. Won’t order again.

Zero customer service, took almost a full month to dispatch and they completely ignored my emails . I would never buy from them again .

I ordered some dipping toasting sets as Christmas presents on the 9th December. I had an email from the company saying they had dispatched and would receive by the 19th however, I never got Royal Mail tracking information. Safe to say it is now the 18th January and I still have not received it. Emailed 3 times, Facebook messaged and used their chat twice on their website and have not had a single response back from them. It’s very disappointing as even though Christmas had passed I still wanted the kits but due to not replying to my messages the only thing I can do now is request a charge back on my card. Such a shame as some of the reviews are lovely but you can’t just not respond to messages about missing orders when people have paid. Currently I have paid the £50 and have nothing to show for it. Such a shame!

Took 3 weeks to receive my order, I sent several emails but didn't get a response. It was for my sons birthday and after reading the item would be despatched within 3 days I thought I'd ordered in ple anty of time ...I was wrong.
The marshmallow toasting kit was packaged nicely and first impressions were good, but when we went to use it we realised what a waste of money the set was. It says to open the burner lid by hand, this was impossible, we had to get scissors and gently pry all around the lid, which once removed was really sharp. Beware when lighting the gel it ignites really quickly , there was no warning and its actually quite dangerous. Putting the flame out was also quite hard as the lid has to be fully on meaning there is flames constantly coming out of even the tiniest gap. The chocolate and sprinkles were fine but the marshmallows were stale, the outside had gone crispy, although once toasted this wasn't noticeable. All in all this kit was a complete waste of money and you could buy the stuff yourself for less and get more.

Ordered 2 items for my nieces birthday and only 1 arrived. Have had no response from the company despite trying to contact them multiple times, avoid!!
