Overall we received a good service from TVW, the whole process takes a while what with first meeting to discuss what you want, measuring and then fitting. It was all done efficiently, even though they needed to change our first installation date, I am happy with the service and fit of my new doors.

I required a new window and side door to my garage I had used Trent Valley before to replace all my bungalow windows and doors. They were excellent then and is still as high standard now. In helping me choose, and installing and fitting correctly. I am so pleased with the end result, no mess all taken away, care taken, polite and gave information required.

We’ve had windows and bi fold doors fitted. The fitters were professional and respectful and discussed what they were doing and explained everything as they fitted. Windows and bi folds look and feel amazing. Really pleased.

We ordered almost £5.000 of top priced Extreme Double Glazing 6 Windows and 2 Doors one Composite with Murano Glass inserts on October 8th 2020 and paid the deposit,
we were told the delivery and fitting would be 5/6 weeks but because of the Covid we thought to at least double that.

The delays built up, firstly there was a small window which they had difficulty getting made then other issues,
we had the first window fitted in the middle of January 2021, the fitters were great lads who had to travel from Wakefield every day and they made a really good job of fitting them for us. I was told there would be a delay for the front door as it was coming from abroad? when it did come we were told it was wrong but we decided to accept it anyway.

We asked for the same fitters who had done the windows as they were so good and we were told that would be ok,
They were working on the back door until it was dark, next day the front door was to be fitted the by them too and I was told they would be here around 8:30 am to start, instead they were sent to a Conservatory job in Derby first so they didn't arrive until gone 3pm.
The door was very very hard to fit, there were so many problems in fitting it they had to work in the dark again to put it in,
The said they would be back first thing the next morning to finish the fitting on the inside, they weren't, they had been moved to another job doing a Conservatory in Derby yet again.

Instead one of the fitters employed by Trent Valley came to finish the door fitting job off but still it wasn't right, it took another three visits and 3 sets of workers before it was put right, one of them managed to damage the Door, only a little but still damaged it. and 20 weeks after making the order it was all done at last.

Lots of excuses, lots of delays and let downs, Both doors had to be refitted, no reduction in price offered for the wrong Door,
but on the last day as the fitters worked on the door
I was asked if I could pay the remainder of the money a bit early so they would have some cash in the Bank to pay their workers.

The quality of the Door and Windows is super and with a 20 year Guarantee, so from all the delay and hassle comes the good.

I always had to chase them up instead of being told when and why there were any delays. If you use them keep them on their toes!
I really wanted to give them 5 stars but with all the hassle I honestly think 4 is more than fair.

The goods are great quality, the service however needs a lot more effort and honesty with far less excuses.
Would I buy from Trent Valley Windows again? Sadly no for all the reasons I have mentioned 4 stars is pretty generous considering. Not one penny in compensation for all of the grief.

We have moved and need some things done, like a new Conservatory and stuff. Guess who isn't being considered to do any of it?

Wonderful selection and easy to choose and pay. The guys quoted me two days worth of work and they finished in one day! I was amazed! The quality was incredible and the guys worked so hard.
Even when I struggled with the new fit of the door and couldn’t understand the locks, I called them back and they couldn’t have been more helpful explaining how it worked. Thank you!!

Excellent service by the guys. They arrived on time and we’re a pleasure to be around the house. They were very respectful when moving around the house.
The finished products were top quality and look great.

Terrible fitting and a lack of care. The work was booked in for 3 days and took less than 1.5 and it showed. The shocking finish was commented on by neighbours. A further 2.5 days of work were required to rectify the issues. Overall we have not had a positive experience in regards to the fitting and installation and are very unhappy with what we have paid for.

UPDATE: Owner of the company contacted us to discuss our concerns and apologise and check that the issues were resolved. This was appreciated.

Would recommend Trent Valley Windows with no hesitation. Trent came to replace the soffits and fuchsias in a rental house I own. They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and provided a great service throughout, liaising with me and my tenant at all times so we knew what to expect and when. Sounds simple but not always a given!

At the time of replacement, a couple of suggestions were made regarding the flat roof and work was adjusted keeping costs as they were originally. Follow up also good and payment only taken when they knew we were happy with the job.

The after care has been poor. The installer kept making arrangements to come to sort snags but let me down at the last moment. Happy to take my money, I paid promptly but won’t sort problems.
I will now add that the contractor has apologised and completed the work to a high standard and I have accepted his reasons for the delay.

Trentvalley windows provided an excellent service, however we had a problem with the rendering as the plasterer was unable to get down one side of the orangery to do the rendering there we had to request that it be waterproofed. Everything else was completed to a very high standard. Really pleased with the finished building.

I loved it that there was no pressure selling.Alan left a good quote and left us to get in touch if we wished to go ahead .
From start to finish I was pleased with the work and after sales service.

Service we received from Alan who came and quoted and talked us through all our options was second to none. TV weren't the cheapest quote we got, but after being recommended by a friend and feeling confident in him, we went ahead. He even helped consult with us on which way the door should open, and was mindful of small details about our very compact entryway which we would have otherwise been clueless about.

There was a delay in the date being confirmed for the door being fitted , which seemed to be quickly rectified when I chased.

We also had an issue with a missing door knocker, which was again quickly resolved once I put energy into chasing.

We are really pleased with our new front door in the end, but the couple of small 'bumps' along the way did take the edge of me giving five stars.

I would urge Trent Valley to just communicate a bit more proactively and maybe with the same level of warmth and care AFTER placing the order as we felt at the very beginning of the process. We aren't unhappy by any means.

Brilliant Service
Can’t fault the service received from Trent Valley. The fitters did a brilliant job, leaving no mess.

Used Trent Valley Windows to replace an arched window with bevel and leading.
Was good to get the design and quote. The window quality is excellent and the fitting was good.
The delivery took far longer than expected which was disappointing. Other than that I am really pleased with it.

Very good service throughout. The work was carried out as agreed and the workmen were really polite and helpful and made minimal mess throughout the installations. We had a couple of issues with windows and installation but they were resolved quickly with no fuss or bother.

Trent Valley Windows did a great job replacing our windows. Competitive pricing from the start. The mark of a great company is how they react when things go wrong. When a surprise structural issue came up, the boss came straight to site to discuss our options. In the end the fitter solved the problem with a little ingenuity and the job was finished without adding to the cost.
Everyone on the team was super friendly and professional. I would recommend Trent Valley to anyone.

Really impressed with TVW from the initial meet with the sales rep to when the fitter did the work. The fitter arrived as promised on time & completed the work within specified timescales. Everything was left clean & tidy as if he'd never been there & I was kept fully informed throughout the job.
