They merely take your information and charge you 2-3 times what the official site will charge. (=GRO.GOV.UK)

In early October 2020 I needed copies of my grandparents Irish birth certificiates urgently so I paid £80 for the express service (within 5 days) they arrived 100+ days later in the middle of January. Buying from the Irish government website directly would have cost £20 each. Avoid this company if its the last thing you do.

Very good no problems receiving my certificates. As stated on website will take about 10-12 days to deliver.

A TOTAL SCAM !, NOT THE OFFICAL RECORDS OFFICE AT ALL . TAKEN MY MONEY NO CERTIFICATE TURNED UP ,CAN'T CONTACT THEM AND NO REPLY BY EMAIL.
PLEASE DON'T USE THEM ,EVEN THE ADDRESS IS FALSE.HOPE YOU GET BUSTED !

Excellent service.I received my replacement birth certificate in 5 days.

I ordered birth certificate for my husband that arrived I also ordered one for myself and my daughter and a marriage certificate on the 6/9/20 they have not arrived tried getting in touch all it is saying is still waiting to be printed I have no trust in this company so as it stands Im £59.94 out of pocket 😡😡

Having done a google search for a copy of a long birth certificate, UK Official records came up first, so I went ahead and placed my order. However, when I did not receive a confirmation email, I was a little dubious, so did another google search. When I read the Trustpilot reviews I thought I had been scammed. However, 11 days after ordering, my full long birth certificate arrived in the post today, so I would happily use their service again.

SCAM. I ordered a birth certificate on the 14.8.20. They took the money out of my account and gave me an order number to track. When I tracked it, did not recognise the number. I tried to phone but just an answering machine and then disconnects you. They dont reply to emails etc. I have now lost my money and I will report them. Please please please, do not use them EVER.

I read the reviews after I purchased the certificate thought it was a scam but no excellent service it arrived as within time limit even during covid

Wish I'd come here before using this site! Wanted to get a replacement birth certificate but when it came to paying, the site said there was an error with the payment and that I'd have to pay the price again however they had taken the money from my account and didn't send a confirmation email or anything! Been in touch via email to try and get a refund but heard nothing back! Absolutely fuming

After ordering my certificate which I wasn't able to give very much information about as I couldn't find the death in the normal register, I then read these reviews and have to admit I was a bit worried. The certificate arrived today; much more quickly than one I have ordered direct from the General Register Office which I have been waiting over 2 months for and it still hasn't arrived. The certificate UK Official Records found for me is the correct one which I was happy to pay a little extra for as I couldn't find it myself. Great Service I say!

I needed a birth certificate for my dad and found this site that seemed uncomplicated to apply for one.
I gave the information required and paid £19.98 . I was happy that I could pay via PayPal.
It was only on week two that i read the reviews on this site and thought maybe i had fallen for a scam.
I phoned the company but only got a voice message on the other end.
I emailed them but didn't get a reply.
I began to think that i had been scammed.
I am happy to say that today i received the certificate and it was within the 10 working days that was stated.
The only let down for me was the lack of communication, otherwise i am very happy with the service that i received.

Like many others on here, I've paid £19.99 to this company and haven't received anything. I've contacted them to no avail - they won't respond to emails. Accordingly, I'm going through PayPal to get my money back.

As plenty of others have said with regard to this company - "I wish I'd read the reviews first"

Why hasn’t this outfit been closed down? It’s name is indication enough of its intention: to trick people into believing it really is THE official site. It’s not and it charges twice the price and takes twice as long to supply the document, presumably because it then has to apply to the proper organisation to get it.

Wish I'd looked on here BEFORE ordering a copy marriage certificate. Naively thought this was the official site but then ,too late,discovered the Govt one
I was lucky in so much as I didn't need the certificate urgently but having paid for it on 8th April 2020 and being advised it would be " dispatched" on 1st May 2020 by the end of June with no replies to my chase up emails I gave up and accepted I must have been scammed …. lesson learned and my fault for not having been more thorough in my research at the start.
But...……...to give hope to others in similar situation I wanted to advise that on 3rd July 2020 the copy certificate did actually arrive!!
One odd fact is that the date of the marriage is stated as 1st Jan 1940 on the letter which accompanied the copy certificate...which clearly states the date was 27th October 1940.....
but hey. Copy certificate does seem fine so a happier ending than I had come to expect

I needed my daughter's birth certificate urgently. Applied on line on 15 May 2020 and paid the fee. The promised date was 8 June 2020. So far I haven't received the certificate. GRO telephone line is suspended. A standard response is received when inquired several occasions. Extremely disappointed with the service!!!. I request that Home Office minister responsible for the department and Head of the HM Passport to intervene, as a matter of urgency and let me know when will I receive the certificate. Thanks.

I have been waiting for over two months for my sons birth certificate. I've emailed several times and tried ringing but heard absolutely nothing. We go away in August and desperately need it as he needs his first passport. Times just running out. Its disgusting they take your money and don't bother replying to any emails etc. I understand the situation at the moment but they shouldn't say it should be with you in ten days 😡

I have been waiting over a month and still no birth certificate. No answers to my emails. This service as taken 19.99 from me and have not responded to several phone calls or email..
I am going to report this company.

Avoid at all costs. Still waiting for a copy of my marriage certificate after almost two months.

i gave them the correct details for a
duplicate birth certificate. after eight weeks of hearing nothing i chased up on email only to be told the information provided was incorrect and i could pay an additional £5 per amendment. when i challenged them and demanded my certificate or a full refund they hid behind their t&c's and issued a refund of £7.49 - less their £15 admin fee....
who knows of they even made attempts at getting my birth certificate but they made some easy cash......
