Dave (DC) was amazing in the awnings department had plenty of time and patience for us to debate what we actually wanted answered all our questions and advised us the best he could with the information that we had given him he even entertained our 1 and a half year old and kept him engaged while we talked threw everything

Approached by Dave, who was super helpful in getting me set up with a Dometic caravan awning which was on offer. Really nice chap, and first class service.

Warranty claim. I called and spoke with Emma who even though I didn't buy my caravan from them did agree to help. Emma has been an absolute superstar throughout the whole process of my warranty claim. I honestly don't know what I'd have done without her help. Thank you. Roger

The 2 stars are for Debbie in sales, who was very professional. Sadly the caravan had internal and possibly chassis damage - probably worth repairing, IF that's what I was looking for. The advert DID NOT mention ANY damage, nor was it mentioned when I phoned before a 2.5 hour drive. The images on the website and 360 view are NOT of the caravan for sale and show NO damage. Take great care when buying from this seller.

We couldn’t be happier with the customer service we have received from Dave in awnings sales department. He was patient and very knowledgeable of the products. He went out of his way to make sure we bought the right awning for what we needed (Ventura vita air and tunnel). He also interacted with our 3 year old daughter which you don’t get in a lot of places. Dave was extremely patient with all the questions we had (we had ALOT). Thanks Dave for making our long drive out today worth it.

Mick was superb in helping us get the right caravan at the right price. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he went above and beyond in his efforts to get things sorted quickly and efficiently. We pick up the caravan in early September. If there were to be any issues, I am confident that Mick would be proactive in addressing them promptly.

Was not the best buying experience we had buying a caravan everything was rushed and the handover chap rushed off mid tour to help someone who was driving out and complained of a creaking car "soooo we will wait here then shall we" and to top it off i handed my V5 for a number plate and it came back with coffee stains all over it! Honest to say i wont be buying from here ever again

Update to all !! (that read reviews ) these people have now removed there original Ad for the caravan luckily we have screen shots and time stamped pictures that I sent to my works email stinks of a company trying to cover there tracks . Be less bother and aggro and negative feedback to transfer our money you owe us back Yorkshire caravans if there is anyone that has experience with these cowboys and feels the same we are considering with a few other unhappy customers handing out printed versions of all complaints and trust pilot reviews at the main entrance off there property boundary’s posts your feedback we are now watching this daily and regular we will be in touch

Our experience with Yorkshire Caravans has been extremely disappointing. After a four hour round trip to view a caravan advertised as a 2016 Swift Challenger, we were told by the salesman, Andy, that the caravan did not exist. He then offered us a 2021 Sprite Major SB, which was above our budget, but claimed he had spoken to a manager who agreed to reduce the price.
We were told the caravan had not yet been valeted, which we accepted. However, during our initial viewing we pointed out a hazy sunroof window and were told it was simply dirt from being stored under trees in what they referred to as “the jungle advert stated NO PETS ANDY mentioned we could take a quick look at . the caravan was covered in dog hair. We have dogs ourselves, so this was not a major concern, and we agreed to proceed with a collection date of 19 August 2026.
When we arrived on the agreed date, excited to collect the caravan, we were asked to pay the remaining balance before being allowed to see it or begin the handover. This was justified by staff needing to leave by 5pm, which immediately raised concerns. Once we were finally allowed to view the caravan, my wife discovered two large cracks in the sunroof window—damage that should never have been missed by experienced technicians or during a pre delivery inspection.
We also found a cleaning report inside the caravan detailing mould and other areas requiring significant attention.
After raising all of this, Scott, the second salesman, offered three options to address the cracked sunroof window: – wait 12 weeks for Swift to supply a replacement, – take the caravan and return it later for repair, – or simply apply sealant to the cracks.
Given our statutory rights and short term right to reject a faulty caravan, we refused a repair. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Yorkshire Caravans are obligated to refund all monies paid, including the deposit, as they have failed to supply goods as described and in the agreed condition. This constitutes a breach of contract.
It is also important to note that Scott stated we would receive a full refund. Andy, the original salesman, was on holiday on the day we arrived to collect the caravan and was not present to confirm or discuss the agreement. We shook hands with Scott on the basis of a full refund and left the site.
Despite this, we have now been informed that £2,000 of our money will be withheld because we did not take the caravan. This is money we worked extremely hard to save, and we had already booked holidays and purchased items in preparation for what we believed would be our pride and joy.

We had a great time browsing the sale items, Rachel and Lesley were very helpful

One star is very generous, we were supposed to pick up a brand new 2026 acadia 545, less than 24 hrs before agreed hand over a phone call to say, the tech had come to fill the heating fluid and its leaked all over the floor so the caravan is a write off ( brand new ).
We were told the heating system comes empty and is filled on pdi, we had looked around the caravan a fort night before and there was fluid in the heating system and a date sticker when it was filled at the factory and presumably run up before factory despatch the floor was ok.
Things not adding up if you are looking at SG4SA00C3T2676019 it should written off according to YC.
On top of that we had holidays booked no caravan and fighting to get the£2000 deposit back.
Bunch of cowboys avoid like the plague, nice cafe, have a coffee and walk away.
Iam retired have plenty of time on my hands to tarnish this company any way i can untill i get my deposit back.
Matt allwright is a keen caravaner i'll see if he would like to know more, all you disgruntled people contact rogue traders.

Be careful dealing with this company i brought a caravan on the 18th July it needed a new toilet and the water system looked at.
Emailed and phoned answered the email in the beginning but have not heard from them .
When buying a caravan look around before using this company

We went and bought our first full awning last Thursday and cannot thank Pete enough , he was amazing with us didn’t pressure us in to anything answered all our questions and went above and beyond for us. Thank you Pete we will definitely be returning for anything else we need.

We have been customers with Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes since Oct 2025. Our personal experience with the YCM team as always been well above satisfaction with the service received so far. All the people we have met so far have always been professional, experienced and very helpful. We have previously mentioned in a different post about some of the exceptional people within the great team YCM have, Peter & Paul in the caravan sales, Dave in the awning dept, but on this post we wanted also to emphasise more in particular about the professional and customer service from Emma Maud from the warranty dept. What a great lady she is. Nothing is ever a problem. We always found Emma very welcoming, polite and helpful. Since picking up our new caravan back in Dec 25, she has thoroughly dealt with a few of our minor issues from our new Lusso 2 without any delays. It is really satisfying for a customer to know that they will always find the help and support when needed the most, and in total confidence we can say that’s what we have always experienced and received from Emma Maud. Went to buy a campervan but ended up with a mobile home due to helpful and knowledgeable staff, no pressure to buy and left to look in your own time, when staff asked they were very helpful, process of buying was easy, excellent cafe to use while we discussed with family on buying options, handover at time was good and came away very happy

Great service throughout by Peter in sales who was knowledgeable throughout and sourced the van when we couldn’t and Andy for the handover process who explained everything to us newbies.

A great company to deal with and cant recommend them highly enough.
