The two installation engineers who came were lovely and respectful. They gave advice and were very tidy. They were also very quick and precise workers. I would highly recommend the company.

Great initial visit
Great initial visit, very professional, the price quoted was very competitive.
Little hiccup with installation dates but came good in the end, very well fitted no issues with the installation at all.

The quality.
The quality of doors; personnel and work was on spot, however, for the keys in the door they do not seem to be smooth when opening or putting the key in the key hole. We called out for help because the key could not go in . We have observed that though the second padlock opens the entry of the key into key hole i isn't smooth. Overall the purchase is very good and gives a breathing space.

N/B as i said , all is perfect except the insertion of the key into the keyhole we are struggling to insert. am not sure if this is the nature of the padlock. Once the key is in the keyhole locking is smooth.

Fitting of door was fine and happy with…
Fitting of door was fine and happy with quality of door and work of fitters. But a simple mistake was made which could have been easily rectified. It took ten weeks to rectify and only after numerous phone calls and emails which went largely unanswered. You get a good idea of the quality of a company by how it responds to mistakes made. The response of Yorkshire Windows fell way short of what I would expect.

New front door
Yorkshire Windows are a great company. They replaced my doors and windows initially early 2000s. When I needed my small windows, kitchen and bathroom replacing a few years ago I contacted them again. Opting for chartwell Green.
Then this year in October my front door was replaced again chartwell Green. The process from initial meeting in September to installation in October was smooth and informed when payments were due to fitting.

We are really happy with our beautiful orange front door!
The initial visit was detailed and thorough, and not at all pushy. The quote was mid-range of the three companies we spoke to, but we were so impressed by Nathan Gee (the Design Consultant) that we were sold!
The communication around fitting dates was a bit frustrating, but we were impressed with the fitters themselves. They were very efficient and tidy, and even took time to explain a few neat DIY tricks to me. They did a cracking job, and we are the proud owners of the only orange door they have ever installed.
I would certainly recommend Yorkshire Windows.

Yorkshire windows was professional from start to finish the windows and door was fitted in one day, the fitters was very professional although one window was cracked when they installed it. They ordered a new one straight away and fitted a new one one week later, I would use Yorkshire windows again and would also recommend them to other customers 5 stars.

Not really sure where to start
Not really sure where to start. Every person who came into our house from sales to workmen were absolutely fantastic. The real problem seemed to be during the installation of our new conservatory roof. Our project manager who I won’t name, wanted to try to tell us that plastering the inside of the roof was not included. They left us with exposed insulation and taped up board on the inside along with remaining pvc panelling which was just left on our floor unused. Clearly it was an unfinished job and they tried to insist that because plastering is “not mentioned within the scope of work” the job was complete and that’s it. It wasn’t until I sent a long email with photos that they agreed that it was indeed unfinished and they had to book the plasterer in for us to finish the job.
That was finished after I had to email and argue my case. A little annoying but happy to have the interior plastered.
Then, there was the issue of the extractor fan hose which both sales and surveyor were aware of, the hose was not reconnected to the outside and so the hose was left extracting from the kitchen into the conservatory. Our project manager once again tried his favourite line of “not included within the scope of works”. He should know by now that this line does not work with me, and he cannot work his way around me in this way. I am a professional person and I fully understand an unfinished job when I see one. I was highly offended that he thought he could win again with that line of “not included in the scope of works” what does he think I am? That won’t work with me mate, but unfortunately I feel as though some others may fall for this and be intimidated by the clear refusal of any accountability. He suggested that I should have checked the scope of work to see if any of that was included and that it was my fault somehow. If the interior has exposed insulation along with remaining unused pvc plastic panels then it means the job is unfinished. It don’t take a genius to work that out really. If I ever have any further work done with this company I will not be going ahead with it if we are assigned the same project manager because he really needs to learn how to accept and take accountability for mistakes, rather than always try to use his favourite line of “not mentioned within the scope of works” this is completely unacceptable although I am happy it’s all finally been resolved and the extractor fan has been sorted too. But I had to argue my case for these things to be finished off properly.
