YouChoose offers thousands of game titles, with the majority being Steam-compatible, meaning they can be redeemed and played through the Steam platform. However, these are often game-specific products rather than Steam Wallet credit, so we appreciate how this could be clearer.

This restriction currently applies to certain gaming titles, such as Valorant Points and Xbox Gift Cards, and is in place at the request of the publishers to help prevent fraud and protect customers.

The good news is that we're working on improvements to make this process smoother, and some of these restrictions will be updated soon. However, certain limits will remain in place on selected gaming products where publishers require them for security reasons.

We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that YouChoose cards are not advertised as being for direct in-store use. The packaging and card instructions clearly explain that the card must first be redeemed online and exchanged for a digital gift code from your chosen retailer before it can be spent.

We're also unclear about your comment regarding your "first 3 choices of store" not being available. All participating retailers on the YouChoose platform are available to select when redeeming your card. If you mean that three retailers you personally wished to shop with are not part of the YouChoose programme, participation is entirely at each retailer's discretion.

That said, we offer over 170 brands across a wide range of categories, giving recipients plenty of choice. We're pleased to see that you were ultimately able to find a brand you liked and successfully redeem your card for M&S.

We're sorry to hear you've not received your digital code. Having checked our records, we can see that the Pizza Hut digital code you selected was successfully dispatched on 19th September at 3:03pm, just 2 minutes after your order was processed.

If you haven't seen the email, please check your spam, junk, and promotions folders, as delivery emails can occasionally be filtered there by email providers.

If you're still unable to locate it, please contact our Customer Services team and they'll be happy to help track it down and ensure you receive your code.

We would like to clarify that your understanding of how YouChoose works is not quite correct. Once you upload your YouChoose gift card(s) to your account, the credit is pooled into a single balance (with the exception of YouChoose Gaming cards, which are held separately). This means you are not restricted to spending the value of an individual card and can use your available balance across any eligible brand on the website.

In addition, if the digital gift card you wish to purchase exceeds your available YouChoose balance, you can simply pay the difference using a debit or credit card at checkout.

Our aim is to provide customers with the flexibility to choose from a wide range of brands and denominations, while avoiding the need to manage multiple balances across different cards. If you need any assistance getting the most from your account, our Customer Service team will be happy to help via the live chat facility on our website.
