Amanda, Sharon, Gary, Rob and I can’t remember the name of the other lady but I really wanted to share this with her too because she was amazing in Amanda’s absence.

I want to say thank you for everything you did for my family and looking after dad whilst he was in your care. I was absolutely blown away by your professionalism and compassion.

Sometimes when you do a job day in day out, you can become complacent and subconsciously appear uninterested. Not once did I feel anyone was not giving us 100 percent support and attention, you made us feel like dad was your only priority (even though I am aware that you were dealing with several other families at the same time).

Amanda, thank you for putting it all together and facilitating everything from day 1, keeping me informed of everything as the days passed. Along with your colleagues who covered on your rest days.

Rob took the time to stop at speak to us at the back of the building whilst he was watering the flowers, let me have a peek at the vehicles in the hanger and explained everything in detail about what will happen on the day. The fact that I approached Rob off guard, he actually knew my Dads name, address and time and date of the funeral without a second thought or having to look it up. Again, very impressive when you have so many family’s and arrangements to deal with all at the same time. He just knew and that made so much of a difference to us.

Gary, your planning and preparation that went in to making dad’s final journey special, respectful and run like a military operation was unmatched. You accommodated our little quirky requests to make this experience more comforting for us and even if you found us a little bit weird, you never let on. Please thank your team on the day for the care and respect they showed us. Even in 34 degree heat, those blazers and jackets were firmly staying on, even after we insisted we would not be offended if you wanted to remove them.

Sharon, you always did everything you could to help when the person I was looking for was unavailable. You were a pleasure to speak with daily for that 2 weeks.
Austin’s have a calming compassionate and respectful team. Just what we needed at what was the worst days of our lives to date. I can’t thank them all enough.

Vary good service

We have used Austin's twice for my mother and my father. In accordance with their wishes, one funeral was the full works and the other a simple unattended cremation. But in both cases we felt very supported by the professional team at Austins who ensured that everything went according to plan.

Every member of Austins have been fantastic. Very caring from the first call and beyond. Would recommend them to anyone.

Having to say goodbye to a loved one is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I genuinely felt that the whole team at Austin's were with us every step of the way. Their care, patience, understanding, professionalism and support throughout the whole process was very much appreciated and helped me and my family get through this and bring about some closure. I genuinely believe that nothing was too much trouble for them, they understood what we were going through, were very thoughtful at every turn, and treated us all with such care and respect.
