Good initial discussion and follow up emails, plus staff for day of funeral called us in advance to chat through process and confirm our wishes for the day. Day of cremation went smoothly

Caring and understanding from all that i interacted with. From Suzanne to Tim not forgetting Sharon

Once we had appointed them we didn’t need to worry about organising anything more. They managed everything and the day went very smoothly.

Everyone I dealt with gave a first class service, there are alternative options out there and possibly cheaper.
I would however strongly recommend Austin's.

Understanding and accommodating, we were supported and guided through a very difficult time.

The people we met at Austins could not have been more helpful, kind and considerate in arranging my wifes funeral nothing was to much trouble in carrying out our wishes they are a most proffessional company and team of people. we would like to express our thanks to Sharon at the Hertford Branch for her guidance and support at a very difficult time, together with Lee and the team on the day of the funeral they showed the upmost care and cordiality to the family and friends never rushing but always guiding respectfully.

Austin's have been fantastic throughout my whole experience.

It started with ringing the funeral directors out of hours when my Husband passed. Gary attended and did not rush the process. He was extremely professional and empathetic and explained all the next steps to me whilst been extremely caring. Gary also looked after my family and I throughout the day of the funeral and again could not have asked for anyone kinder.

I had my Husband embalmed and Neil was so considerate throughout this process another credit to Austin's.

Then I met Caroline who arranged absolutely everything, again never rushed me with decisions and dealt with everything with such warmth and is incredibly knowledgeable. Caroline went above and beyond in so many ways and I will always be truly grateful to her for everything she did.

Esther was our celebrant and again an incredible lady who did my Husband's service beautifully and with such genuine warmth.

Everyone at Austin's were truly amazing and I would definitely recommend to all when unfortunately the time comes when you need them.

I really can't begin to thank you enough for the way you handled Dad's funeral. From the first day we met with you and Sharon, we were treated with compassion and professionalism. We obviously, had no idea what to do and where to begin with arrangements and your guidance helped us through at every step of the way.

On the day of the funeral, the drivers, the ushers and Gary were incredible. They had a lot of guests to manage but did so with absolute efficiency and respect. We honestly can't be more grateful to you all for helping make dad's final journey a memorable day for everybody.

I was very pleased with my experience of using Austin’s Funeral Service cremation only.
David in the office was particularly helpful and he explained the whole process to me.
The gardens are beautifully kept and the whole site is spotless!

At what was obviously a very sad time for the family following the sudden death of my father, Austin's were absolutely brilliant to deal with in the lead up to his funeral and on the day itself. Kelly and Veronica at the Welwyn office were kind and considerate, but also knowledgeable and efficient when helping us to plan the funeral. Then on the day of the funeral Simon and his team made all our plans happen just perfectly.

Right from the moment we went to see Kellie at the Welwyn office through to the service itself everyone we had contact with was caring and helpful. They made a difficult time very much easier. From collecting my fathers body to organising and supporting us on the final day of the funeral the whole process was carried out with excellent professionalism and sincerity. Julie in the Ware office was very helpful and sympathetic regarding planning the whole service with the inclusion of the celebrant

The service we received from the staff at the Buntingford office and the team on the day was very professional while being compassionate and personable. They were always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. The company treated my father with great respect and we were kept informed at all times. Lisa was always kind and considerate towards us and very helpful with regards to all aspects of the funeral and our wellbeing.
