Excellent instruction - Adiel Khan
Adiel is an excellent driving instructor and a natural educator. He is well-humoured, patient, and knowledgeable. He offers clear instruction, thoughtful and valuable feedback. He developed my driving not only to reach the standards needed to pass my test, but to hopefully be a safe and competent driver going forwards.
I feel that his calm manner helped to build my confidence and gave me the 'toolbox' needed to go into my test with the ability to show off my abilities and impress the examiner.
I am genuinely grateful that I found Adiel, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Fancy getting ripped off? These are the guys for you.
I paid £578 to this lot for them to get my son a driving test sooner. It took my son 3 goes to pass his theory before we could book his practical test, since when the law has been changed so that you have to book your own test.
When I asked for a refund because they could not fulfil the service that I have paid for, they have offered me £62, the cost of booking the test itself, keeping the other £500+ and making up some rubbish about this covering admin, VAT and finding an instructor - what they actually did is send me a few and get me to contact them directly.
They're a disgrace and rip off merchants.
Keep your money, find an instructor yourself and don't line their greedy and presumably deep pockets.

The booking that you made for your son included two services. The first is to allocate a suitable instructor and the second is to book a practical test.
The first service was completed when your son's instructor was allocated and you are right that this part of the service is non-refundable once it has been completed. Our terms and conditions are viewable on our website and should be read prior to booking so that they are understood and you are happy to continue with the booking.
We have only allocated one instructor for your son and whilst we do provide their number, the instructor should contact you first to arrange the lesson start date.
Unfortunately, due to changes with the DVSA we are no longer able to book or amend practical tests so you have been refunded for the test fee and we have sent you an invite to our new service which enables you to swap your son's test with another pupil.
We do ensure that costs and services are clear prior to booking and we are upfront about what we can and can't do for a pupil.

My instructor was Seb Abbasi
My instructor was Seb Abbasi, and honestly he helped me so much. He gave me great advice and tips that have really stuck with me and haven’t forgotten for parking and driving on the roads. I also passed first time which was amazing! He is so kind and didn’t make me nervous or uncertain towards the lessons. He’s also very honest and saw that I wouldn’t have needed as many lessons as I had some driving practice prior to the lessons with him and immediately said to do fewer ones instead of all of them (for more money when I didn’t need it). 100% recommend, he’s an amazing instructor!

Shocking company that did nothing to help
Absolutely shocking from start to finish. I asked in the very first call if there were instructors in our area which the woman on the phone went away and came back to the phone saying yes there was instructors not even just one instructor. 1st of May paid the £40 deposit which we were asked for. No mention of the other £140 had to be paid before anything was done. 3 emails and a final email for the rest of the deposit. I had to continually contact the company for updates myself. No instructor could be found at the initial hourly rate. You asked to increase the hourly rate which we did straight away and changed the start date. Now 25 th June and still no instructor found. Asking again to increase the hourly rate and choose a later date. I have now asked for a full refund. Personally I think I could have done better myself and with less stress to a new young driver. Let’s see how long the refund takes and if I need to chase that up myself too. As others have stated in the multiple negative feedback comments it seems to be a con or almost a scam to get people’s money and hold onto it doing nothing
I agreed to everything you suggested. Increasing the hourly rate for the driving instructor and putting his start date back for even longer. This still doesn’t explain why I as a paying customer should have to chase a response to any kind of question or comment

We would like to reassure you that we are not a scam. We are a genuine driving lesson booking service that works with DVSA-approved instructors to help learners find available tuition. Instructor availability can change regularly, and while we use the information provided by instructors at the time of booking, occasionally availability can change, which can result in delays.
When a booking is made, we allow up to 14 days to allocate an instructor. If an instructor has not been allocated within this timeframe, our Terms and Conditions confirm that a refund can be requested. This is in place to ensure customers are protected if we are unable to fulfil the booking.
In this case, we continued working to find a suitable instructor, including exploring different availability, start dates and hourly rates to try and help secure lessons. We understand that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
We have now processed your refund request and will ensure this is handled as quickly as possible.

Simon Ashley is very patient and knowledgeable. He’s super friendly and makes you feel comfortable.
He’s always on time never lets you down and his rates are very reasonable.
Overall I would highly recommend Simon as an instructor because my daughter passed first time and he was very encouraging along the way. He’s a great teacher

I had a great experience with BookInstructor. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process, and they always replied quickly to any questions I had. The booking system and tools were easy to use, and they were really fast when it came to arranging retests and finding cancellation slots.

lessons start in August
I was finding it hard to get an instructor until I found this company and haven learning difficulties i was getting very stressed and ready to give up but I put my hope in them it took in couple of weeks but then I got an instructor thank you for your help

Very poor and would not recommend. confirmed availability on 1st June for some lessons and to have the instructor to take to a test, took Deposit immediately. 8th June confirm no instructors available giving 3 options, cancel/postpone test, Refund or Offer to pay an addition £5PH to try and find an instructor. Total scam, try to extort further money out of you and take your money hold it for 14 days. lets see if they actually refund my Deposit. Very poor response given to this review, you offer a service which you take payment upfront but don’t provide the service and then hold the customer’s money for nearly a month, the fact you waited 8 days into a short period of 19 days is exactly why you tried to extort additional money out of your customer which is very poor customer service and bordering on scamming customers. My rating of 1 star is fully justified and customers beware.

Thank you for providing your details. You made your booking with us on the 31st May and received a full refund on the 8th May.
We require a small period of time to work on your booking which is either 14 days for a standard booking or less if a test is approaching.
If we are unable to allocate an instructor we offer a money back guarantee.
The email you received offered you a full refund along with two options (increase the hourly rate or postpone your test) to help with allocating an instructor. The only reason we offer these options are to help our customers with their upcoming tests. As you selected a full refund, this was processed immediately.

I have requested further information from you via TrustPilot so that I can view your booking.
It sounds like you have booked with us on a 'short notice test' and as we were unable to arrange an instructor within the 8 days, you received an email outlining the ways that we could proceed with your booking to try and get you to your test.
Without viewing your account, I can not confirm the terms of your booking but short notice bookings have a shorter waiting period than our standard 14 days term.
The options you received are not a scam nor are we trying to extort money from you.
There is no obligation to accept the additional £5 per hour rate. We offer this as a last attempt to get an instructor in place and we don't make any profit from this - the additional payment will be made to your instructor.
You will see in the email you received that we also offer a full refund if cancelling your test or increasing the rate isn't suitable. If you have responded to us and asked for a refund, this will be with you within 5-10 working days.
I hope once you receive your refund, you will reconsider your 1 star review as it seems unfair given that we have done everything possible to try and help.

Expensive but successful
Quite expensive but got me a driving instructor within the timeframe I required which I was finding challenging otherwise. My experience once with my driving instructor, Tracy Connor was perfect! She was very helpful and patient and got me in perfect condition to pass, I would recommend her to anyone in the area!
