This is realy a joke i booked a taxi and when i arrived the taxi driver did not tell me that its already paid on my card registered with careem and made me pay again. I spoke to the help desk and they literally told me theres nothing they can do . So drivers are getting away with stealing and nothing is being done about it. Well never again. Thank you so much for the terrible service.

Worst Experience With Kareem
I booked a taxi from DFC to Deira City Center and the taxi driver Khairul Basar reaches to a different location starts the ride and ends in 2 minutes, charging me AED 14plus, surprising is the taxi didnt even picked me and when i called the driver he disconnects the call and calls back after a minutes asking where are you. And when i requested to pick from my location, this tax driver in a very rude tone disrespects me and disconnects the call
This is how CAREEM is hiring their taxi drivers to disrespect the customers

L appli en elle même est très bien faite, le soucis est que careem est quasi inutilisable. Souvent les chauffeurs n ont pas de gps sur leur téléphone et ne vous localisent pas ...
Mais le pire c est que les tarifs ne sont jamais respectés ou presque, les chauffeurs tentant de gonfler les prix dès qu'ils voient un touriste. En 10 tentatives, j ai réussi à utiliser careem une fois en Egypte...
Donc bien mais pas fiable du tout !

Cheating
I booked a box pick up and drop off service. (Captain Ali Haider) No one collected the package from me and the app showed collected and delivered. When I called customer service (Mehwish) they lied about the order being complete, could not provide me any pictures to prove they collected the package and kept lying more by saying we called and no one answered at the drop off point, so the Captain brought the package back to the pick up location!! Absolute cheaters. My building has security at the reception they have an entry exit log! Charged me 40 Dhs for nothing and not ready to accept their disastrous service standards. I had this conversation while holding the package and customer service confirmed package is dropped!! Jokers! Didn't even want to select one star. Beware!

& With Google map but DH 792 taxi driver took a very long cut and pretended that He is new driver.. Not familiar Dubai road and he only follows the pinned location.. But he follows the wrong way by purpose 😕
I booked because I have to catch the time but I ended up in a very traffic way and very long cut way😡😣

Aber: careem bietet für Touristen nur den Minutentarif an. D. h. jede gefahrene Minute wird abgerechnet. Vollkommen überteuert und echte Abzocke!!! Schade, weil der Canal und Jumeirah Cycling Track sind einfach klasse. Alternativen zu Careem gibt es nur eine (Wolfis). Da gibt es noch viel Potenzial.

I contacted the driver as i noticed within 2 minutes from leaving the taxi, I left a bag, he said that he would drop it off after his hire. Still waiting after 3 days. Muhamed has stolen my goods and is trying to extort me for more money, shame on his family, people like him are spoiling Dubai's reputation.

Terrible service and dishonest drivers
I ordered a Careem box and the driver never delivered my item. After a week of Careem investigating the matter, they decided that they would not issue me a refund or apology because the driver said the item was delivered. After contacting the store where the item was supposed to be collected from, they said the item was never even collected in the first place. So the driver stole my money and lied about collecting the item. Careem refused to investigate properly and also refused to refund the item. Awful service and dishonest drivers.

They are the worst. I opened a very silly ridiculous case in Nov. I am a Careem Plus member and I noticed that I was being charged delivery fees on every order i make. It’s a technical issue, easy, we raise it, it gets fixed right? Well the case was raised on Nov 2, we are now Feb 6, throughout these many months I have been trying to get them to take my request seriously, instead, they reply with an automatic reply and close all my raised cases. No one tried to fix this glitch. I sent many emails, attached many screenshots, nothing. My anxiety went through the roof. I reported it to the consumer protection, they could only help if I placed the orders so that they refund me. I do not want a refund, i want my concern to be acknowledged and my emails to be answered. I expressed my frustration over the phone during that ONE TIME when they finally called me back after I wrote a bad review, but they still did not fix my issue. I had been a member for two years so I am not new to them, i know how the T&Cs work and there is obviously a glitch which they are refusing to address. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OR AFTER SALES SUPPORT I HAVE EVER SEEN. Shame on your Careem Plus. I can confidently cancel my yearly subscription now. I think 4 months of being patient for such a ridiculous request is enough.

Very Bad Experience – Worst Delivery Practice
Careem Food delivery has become extremely disappointing. They assign one driver to take two different orders for two different locations at the same time, and the result is always the same: the second delivery arrives in very bad condition.
Cold food, poor quality, delayed delivery — every single time. This is clearly done to save or make more money, but it completely ignores customer experience and food quality.
This is honestly one of the worst scenarios a food delivery company can create. Customers pay full price but receive food that looks and tastes like it was forgotten on the road.
If Careem continues this practice, they should not be surprised when customers stop trusting their service. Food delivery is about speed and quality, and Careem is failing at both.
Very bad experience. Not recommended.

Horrible experience and still not…
Horrible experience and still not resolved. I transferred a payment using Careem Pay of 1651 AED on 20th Jan to India..the app says the amount was successfully delivered to the beneficiary. However the beneficiary has not received the payment. I have raised multiple tickets with Careem and they provided a UTR reference with which still the payment couldn't be located.
I am again calling them and they are asking for a statement of account of the beneficiary to prove that funds are not received. I have asked for a swift transfer copy which is standard protocol in these cases but they keep asking for the beneficiary statement of account which is absolutely unacceptable. This is bizarre as no other person will give me their private and confidential statement of bank accounts. I have repeatedly asked for other options and the agents keep repeating the same information.
I am frustrated and have no clue where my money is. I wish I didn't use this service and I don't know what to do..

Worse car service ever and the drivers are worst.
Hey there, I would like to report this driver behavior very rude to clients he literally demanded we get out of the vehicle simple because my friend asked to be dropped at the first stop and I the next stop. Driver went crazy shouting at us "no not allowed all of you go out" what type of behavior is this it's unacceptable worst rides of my life considering am using taxi every other day this is very disappointing. 0 star to this fellow! If he doesn't like the job he can quit. Simple!!!!

Careem captain never delivered food to…
Careem captain never delivered food to us! And the customer service was no help, claiming the address was not specific enough (Residencies 7 instead of Residencies Tower 7). The captain came to right tower, even logged himself with the receptionist giving her his number and everything. In the end Careem did not refund us, and lost a customer forever.

“Stranded luggage in DUBAI , malfunctioning trunk, zero help from CAREEM
My son, who was visiting Dubai, was unable to retrieve his luggage at the airport because the car trunk malfunctioned due to an electronic failure. While the driver and my son searched for a mechanic at 7 a.m. (all garages were closed), I repeatedly contacted Careem’s call center. We received zero assistance. No solution, no escalation, no ownership.
As a result, my son had to board his flight to the United States without his luggage. He was starting a Master’s program and arrived in New York in winter with no bag and no winter clothes. He had no choice but to immediately purchase essential clothing and a replacement suitcase.
At Careem’s insistence, the driver later dropped the bag off with me. Careem then refused to assist in shipping the luggage to the U.S., completely abandoning the matter.
The total financial impact on my son was approximately 2,400 AED.
Only after intervention by the RTA did Careem respond—by offering a token compensation of 500 AED, which is frankly insulting given the circumstances.
This is bad service.
No accountability.
No assistance when it mattered.
No proper follow-up.
My son was fortunate that I was able to help him. But that in no way absolves Careem of its responsibility. Customer support does not mean doing nothing and hoping the customer will somehow manage. In this case, Careem failed—completely.

Booked a cab, got cheated and left stranded
Booked a cab. The driver arrived at my location after taking more than expected time (because he took a longer route). Once he arrived, before I could get in the car, he let another set of passengers enter the car (a European family), denied me from boarding and asked me to cancel. I kept showing him my phone that it's my booking for his car, he didn't bother and drove away. Cab No. L24262 (Driver name Rashid Mashal).
This is the heights of being unprofessional, cheating, and wasting the time of a customer. Or they're probably racist / greedy for a longer journey.
Since a long time I'm having this problem booking with Careem taxi that the drivers make you wait long periods of time and cancel the booking at the last minute, or stand in front of you and take someone else, or just drive past you without bothering to stop and pick you up. Service is gone to the dogs. Careem cab booking.
And these many incidents cannot be coincidences or errors. It is deliberate. And all these bad experiences are happening with mostly drivers from Pakistan.
